Evil Tom King (James Chase) ominously eyed up his next victim in Friday’s Emmerdale, as he sought to recover evidence of his abuse of wife Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).

As fans know, Tom was arrested as police investigated Belle’s report of domestic violence, with police seizing his electronic devices.

However, Tom was spooked to realise a tablet containing secret footage of Belle he’d recorded at Dale Head had gone missing, unaware his young cousin Carl Holliday (Charlie Joyce) had stolen it to play a game

It later ended up in the possession of Carl’s friend Isaac Dingle (Elias Walker) – and when his mum Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) came across the footage of Belle, she rushed off to tell her of the new evidence that would prove Tom has been abusing and controlling her.

Sadly, however, Moira – who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour – suffered a seizure en route and forgot what she’d uncovered

On Friday, Tom was desperate to recover the missing tablet. Suspicious of Carl, he manipulated the youngster into confessing that he’d given it to Isaac to play the game.

He also threatened his cousin not to reveal he’d seen the tablet, saying he would end up in prison for stealing like his half-sister Angelica King (Rebecca Bakes).

As Tom later spotted Moira and Isaac in the village, he watched on from afar as he told Carl he would ‘deal with Isaac when he decides’.

Spoilers for next week’s episodes have already revealed that there is serious danger ahead for the youngster, as it appears Tom will stop at nothing to get the tablet back…

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
