E-hailing platform, Uber has launched a new service named ‘Uber Safari’, allowing customers to book safari trips directly through their app.
Uber Safari allows customers to book a one-day game drive to a private reserve for a flat fee of R3,550.
So far, the Uber Safari is only available to riders in Cape Town.
The new service offers a full-day trip to Aquila Private Game Reserve for up to four people per booking. This includes transportation, a 2-3 hour game drive, lunch, and a welcome toast.
Uber Safari is available exclusively through the Uber app from 2 October 2024 to 1 February 2025. Trips are only offered on Fridays and Saturdays.

- Pick-up in Cape Town at 09:30 AM in a premium Uber Reserve
- A 2-3 hour game drive at Aquila Private Game Reserve
- Lunch, and a welcome toast
- Drop-off in Cape Town around 18:00 PM
