Viral dance sensation Skomota is topping trends after his video playing the popular football game Dream League while in the club went viral.
The video has since gained thousands of comments and reactions. Thanks to his huge social media following, Skomota often trends whenever he posts or gets posted.
‘TIRED OF GROOVING’: SKOMOTA BUSTED GAMING IN THE CLUB
The video was first shared by Freshmen Magazine on Instagram. The star did not pay attention to the music in the now-viral video as he enjoyed the game.
However, little is known about the joint he was at and when the video was taken. Fans were more than convinced he was tired of grooving.
Against the backdrop of his newfound fame, the star quickly spread his wings to club hosting and paid appearances.
Several clubs have tagged the star along, and he often wows patrons with his sick dance moves, with his signature dance move often thrusting him into top trends.
After all, he has been busy and booked since his thrust into the limelight. In 2023, Skomota made headlines after winning the lottery.
Surprisingly, his signature dance moves thrust him into the limelight. A huge chunk of his earnings comes from his gigs.
Since his thrust into the limelight, he has undoubtedly been busy and booked. The star also doubles as an MC. Last year, a rumour mill revealed that Skomota makes around R545 000 monthly.
Earlier this year, a leaked chat revealed that Skomota costs R90 000 to book. However, his management has not confirmed the amount circulating on social media.
EXPLOITATION RUMOURS
Earlier this year, Skomota suspended all bookings amid exploitation rumours. The decision came after his close friend and manager accused Moruti wa Dikota of exploitation.
Skomota’s friend Skothane sa Pitori revealed that Moruti wa Dikota allegedly defrauded the star thousands.
While on the LiPO Podcast, Skothane sa Pitori said Skomota has no bank account. He added that all his bookings are made through Dikota’s account, which Skomota cannot access.
The allegations came a few months after Mzansi questioned Skomota’s relationship with his manager.
