Carling KO venues and dates confirmed: No SABC coverage for Chiefs vs SuperSport match?

It appears as if the SABC won’t cover the Carling Knockout Cup clash between SuperSport United vs Kaizer Chiefs on 20 October.

The two teams face off at the Peter Mokaba in what is the pick of the draw. The Premier Soccer League (PSL) officially announced the dates, venues, and kick-off times for the Round of 16 fixtures this week.

The matches are set to take place over the weekend of 18–20 October 2024, with the matches scheduled on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The big three teams, Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns are Orlando Pirates managed to avoid each other. Downs and the Buccaneers got favourable draws while Amakhosi were not so lucky.

The action continues in the evening, with Sundowns facing Lamontville Golden Arrows at Lucas Moripe Stadium at 18h00, followed by Polokwane City versus Marumo Gallants at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium at 20h00.

On Sunday, TS Galaxy FC will play Chippa United at Mbombela Stadium, while SuperSport United meets Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling KO.
