Meet Mr and Mrs Libbok!: First look at Springbok’s wedding

Springbok Manie Libbok and his wife Verna have shared their first look at their romantic Mossel Bay wedding, which took place last weekend.

The famous flyhalf tied the knot with his high school sweetheart in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends.

MEET MR AND MRS MANIE LIBBOK

While the rest of his club at the Stormers played a URC game in Italy, Manie Libbok and his now-wife Verna wed at the picturesque wedding venue at Seeplaas in Groot Brakrivier.

The location is nestled in the Garden Route between George and Mossel Bay. Its also not fair from the hometown of the Springbok’s bride.

In pics posted by his sports agents, the newlyweds are seen in professional wedding images. In the pics, the Springbok wore a beige suit with a gold bowtie. His bride – who has offically changed her Instagram handle to Verna Libbok – wore two white dresses, one for the ceremony and another for the reception – designed by Elbeth Gillis.

The wedding guests – which included Manie’s Bok pals Lukhanyo Am and Grant Williams – wore black for the occasion.

According to SuperSport, Manie Libbok will be taking time off club football to go on a honeymoon with his wife, Verna.

This means that he will miss the Stormers’ game against Edinburgh this weekend and likely their match against Munster next weekend.
