Eish! Lasizwe and Christall Kay butcher national anthem again [video]

Reality TV stars Lasizwe Dambula and Christall Kay – of Real Housewives fame – have done it again by butchering South Africa’s national anthem.

The unlikely duo appeared on stage together at the DStv Content Creators Awards on Saturday, 12 October.

Last month, the blonde and her new BFF were trolled for getting the words to Nkosi Sikel iAfrika wrong during an episode of Lasizwe’s YouTube series, Awkward Dates.

CHRISTALL KAY AND LASIZWE BOTCH NATIONAL ANTHEM, AGAIN!

On Saturday evening, Lasizwe and Christall Kay took to the stage to present the “Trendsetter Award” at the DStv Content Creators Awards, which was won by influencer Coachella Randy.

During their special appearance, the duo decided to give another performance of the national anthem. This time around, Christall appeared to have learned all the words for the national song.

Take a look…

Last month, Christall Kay, who appeared on Real Housewives of Johannesburg and Ultimate Girls Trip, had Awkward Dates viewers in hysterics with her quirky personality.

During the episode, she performed a questionable version of the South African national anthem, botching not only the lyrics but also the notes.

Lasiwe joined in, but was equally as terrible…

SOUTH AFRICAN SINGING BARBIE?

Recently, Christall Kay revealed that she is working on pursuing a career in music.

In June, the woman nicknamed “South Africa’s Britney Spears” and “Mzansi’s Barbie” shared a clip of her new single, Gone, which features visuals of the younger man.

The man was later revealed as her “Ben-10” boyfriend, whom she married in a customary Islamic marriage.

During an episode of Ultimate Girls Trip, Christall claimed that she was “married to a 28-year-old Ken”.

Speaking to Etv’s Morning Show, she said: “I’m a better songwriter than a reality artist.

“My music is exciting, and I’m getting them ready and will be releasing them soon. Watch this space.”
