Between my habit of tugging at my hair, bleaching it to get that balayage look, frying it with heat, and the chilly weather, my hair’s ended up like a dry, brittle mess.
I’ve been on the hunt for a budget-friendly hair miracle to fix all this, and honestly, I thought it would be a tough find.
Tresemmé Lamellar Shine
Complete Bundle, £13 (worth £21)
But Tresemmé’s Lamellar Shine Bundle has been the lifesaver my long hair was crying out for.
This haircare bundle brought my hair back to life after just one go, and I was super impressed, especially since it only costs £13 at Boots.
This set has four goodies in it: a shampoo and conditioner from the Lamellar line, a Leave-In Cream Serum, and an Instant Shine Mask.
If you grabbed each of these separately, you’d be looking at £21, but snagging the bundle for £13 is a total bargain in my book.
The only thing missing is the Finishing Oil, which is currently on offer for £5, down from £10, and it can give your dry, styled hair that extra glossy touch.
But if I had to pick just one must-have from the bundle, it’s definitely the Leave-In Cream Serum, now going for £3.50 in Boots’ half-price sale.
Tresemmé Lamellar Shine
Complete Bundle, £13 (worth £21)
This four-piece set is a great way to try out all the hair products without spending a ton, plus you get to treat yourself to some pampering.
The Lamellar Shine Cream was the first thing I tried from the bunch, and it really impressed me.
I’m all about easy-to-use hair products since I don’t do much with my hair routine.
I try not to overload my scalp and hair with too many products because it’s already fragile, especially after years of tugging at it.
That’s why I’m all for this lightweight, leave-in serum. You can use it as a leave-in conditioner after washing your hair, and you don’t have to rinse it out.
You can also use it after shampooing by working it in and rinsing it out, but I haven’t tried that yet since I prefer quick hair solutions, and leave-ins are just way more convenient.
Excited to give this stuff a go, I washed my hair with some shampoo and conditioner I was trying to use up, then put it on my damp hair.
This stuff glided through my knotty hair like a dream.
As my hair dried, it totally calmed down the frizz and flyaways I usually deal with and boosted my hair’s shine, which was awesome since it had been looking super dry lately.
Even when I styled my hair with my favourite Shark FlexStyle or the various Dyson Airwrap dupes I’ve tried over the years, it stayed shiny and felt incredibly smooth.
I even gave it a shot on dry hair between washes, and it didn’t make my hair oily. Instead, it gave my locks a nice hydration boost and brought my style back to life.
Then, I decided to go all-in with the whole set for a well-deserved pamper session, and once again, I was pretty impressed.
I used Tresemmé’s Lamellar Shampoo and Conditioner during my usual haircare routine, giving my scalp a good massage.
After that, I slapped on the hair mask on damp hair for five minutes, rinsed it out, and finished up with the leave-in serum for a complete haircare overhaul.
I don’t usually stick to such a hardcore routine, but I decided to try it to get my hair looking healthy again. It worked like a charm, and the effects lasted a good while too.
I don’t do these steps every day, but lately, I’ve been sticking to using the shampoo and conditioner, plus the leave-in treatment, and honestly, that’s enough to keep my hair silky, smooth, and shiny without any frizz.
Seems like there’s some hair magic happening behind the scenes too.
Every product in Tresemmé’s Lamellar line is loaded with amino acids and ceramides to heal, nourish, and fix up damaged hair, while also giving it that shiny finish.
The Lamellar Technology works its magic on each hair strand at a deep level, sealing the hair for a silky finish, making it stronger, and leaving it healthier overall.
Someone explained the cool science to me by saying it repairs your hair from top to bottom, instead of side to side. This helps fix split ends and cuts down on frizz, and I believe it really does the trick.
My hair not only feels super soft and shiny, but I’ve even gotten compliments on how great it smells, and I’ve got Tresemmé’s awesome products to thank for that.
It’s unclear how long the discount on the Tresemmé Lamellar range will stick around, so I highly suggest you grab the whole set right away!
While you’re shopping the Boots sale, keep your eyes peeled for this scalp serum from L’Oreal.
