FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday Evening,
It has been a beautiful day today with the coldest start of the season, with almost everyone freezing this morning, to a hard freeze in many spots in the upper 20s this morning outside of the city. While temps did fall just short of the normal for this afternoon, that will not be the case going forward.
Expect widespread patchy frost overnight tonight with lows in the lower to middle 30s, staying just a touch warmer in town in the mid to upper 30s. Mostly clear skies will be the rule for the next several days too. Sunshine will push us into the upper 60s on Friday. Great weather for FFN Friday night, with temps falling back into the 50s during the games with little to no wind.
The weekend is even better, with lows back in the low 40s, highs in the low to mid 70s with sunny skies. We will stay sunny to mostly sunny Monday and Tuesday with highs well above normal in the middle 70s. We will see winds pick up and clouds increase on Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 70s ahead of a Wednesday night cold front.
Expect our only chance of showers Wednesday overnight, and behind the front, skies will clear on Thursday with highs back closer to normal in the lower 60s.
