American pastor, Bishop TD Jakes recently paid tribute to Pastor Ray McCauley died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, 8 October.

BISHOP TD JAKES: TRIBUTE

The televangelist, Bishop TD Jakes extends a moving tribute to the Rhema Bible Church founder, Pastor Ray McCauley.

In a video shared by MDNNews on X, the bishop says: “About 25 years ago or more I made my first trip to the entire continent of Africa to come to Rhema Bible Church. We had a great meeting several days of preaching and administering the word of God, great fellowship.”

” I am deeply saddened at the loss of his life. I send greetings to the entire Rhema Church and McCauley family.”

BusinessLIVE reports that McCauley brought Rhema Ministries to South Africa, to form the single largest church congregation in Southern Africa.

The 75-year-old founded Rhema Bible Church in South Africa in 1979.

PASTOR RAY MCCAULEY: FUNERAL

Zimoja reports that the leader and founder of Rhema Bible Church, Pastor Raynor “Ray” McCauley is being buried on Saturday, 19 October.

McCauley was honoured on Thursday, 17 October in another memorial service.

The church says in a statement: “On 17 October at 7pm there will be an honouring service at Rhema Bible Church. This service will allow Pastor Ray’s friends and dignitaries to share their memories, celebrate and honour his life. The service will be open to the public and live streamed on YouTube.”

“On behalf of the McCauley family and Rhema Bible Church, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love, support and prayers during this time. We understand that many wish to attend, and we are working to provide additional viewing locations across South Africa. Further details will be shared soon.”
