Currently, Chiefs are linked with Fiston Mayele and Michael Olunga.
Meanwhile, Oswin Appollis remains a priority signing for Nasreddine Nabi and Amakhosi management.
What not many people know is that Chiefs are reportedly linked with a Pirates player too…
“Chiefs are currently linked with a sensational swoop for Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa,” the insider stated on KickOff.
This statement was reported just as the PSL transfer window closes. Therefore, if these reports are true then Lepasa may very well be a Chiefs target heading into the January transfer window.
So, this move remains a possibility that could be considered in January. Furthermore, Pirates and Chiefs have not denied these rumours. However, neither side has commented which means it may be a rumour.
PSL RIVAL TARGETS LINED UP BY AMAKHOSI
Bafana Bafana and Polokwane City attacker, Oswin Appollis remains a priority target for Chiefs.
Moreover, Nabi has demanded that Chiefs sign Appollis in January. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if Amakhosi re-visit interest in Cape Town Spurs talent, Asenale Velebayi.
Finally, a plethora of Chiefs players are linked with exits. Meaning, they could offer some of these players in a player + cash deal to sweeten the deal. A truly enticing January transfer window awaits, Amakhosi.
