Springbok skipper Siya Kolisi will start at No 8 for the Sharks in Saturday’s United Rugby Championship (URC) clash against Irish side Munster at Hollywoodbets King’s Park in Durban.
Kick-off is at 16:00.
Kolisi have never played at No 8 in any of his 89 Tests for the Springboks.
Siya Kolisi made bombshell headlines earlier this week when he announced that he and wife Rachel would be divorcing, ending their eight-year marriage.
The couple have two children.
Rejigged loose trio
Sharks coach John Plumtree has rejigged his loose trio from the one which started in the 28-24 win over Glasgow Warriors last weekend.
Kolisi moves from No 6 to eighthman as Phepsi Buthelezi drops down to the bench.
James Venter comes in at No 6 and Vincent Tshituka at No 7, with his brother, Emmanuel Tshituka, dropping out of the match-day squad.
Meanwhile, there is one change in the backline, with Grant Williams coming in for fellow Springbok Jaden Hendrikse at scrumhalf.
Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth retains the captaincy.
The Sharks are 13th in the 16-team standings after four matches with 10 points.
Munster are in 11th with 11 points, but have played five matches to date.
