FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday Evening,
It has been a very nice, and normal day for this time of the year, with temps running in the lower 60s. Tonight will be mostly clear and crisp with lows in the upper 30s to near 40. Friday clouds will increase, and we will have an isolated chance of mid-morning to late morning showers, with better chances of showers and even a few rumbles of thunder late day, with highs pushing back up into the lower 70s. Rain showers could impact the final week of FFN before the playoffs, so keep in mind, especially if you are east of town, to keep rain gear handy for the games.
Saturday expect clearing skies, with temps back to normal in the lower 60s. We will have a frosty start on Sunday, with highs back into the lower 60s. We will extend a much warmer pattern for the final days of October. Expect high pressure to expand with highs in the upper 60s on Monday, middle 70s on Tuesday, and upper 70s on Wednesday under mainly sunny skies.
Winds will become breezy on Wednesday, and should pick up on Halloween Thursday ahead of our next cold front. As of right now, we could be sitting at one of our warmest Halloween days on record, the record stands at 83° in 1950. It appears the cold front will arrive Thursday night at this point, and should bring a round of showers to the area, and a cool down for the first weekend of November.
