With an illustrious career spanning years, DJ Tira has quickly become one of the most celebrated stars in South Africa.
The celebrated DJ, singer and producer has been credited for popularising Durban Kwaito, Gqom and Afro House.
A LOOK AT DJ TIRA’S FLASHIEST CARS
DJ Tira has also thrust a host of celebrated entertainment acts into the limelight through her record label, Afrotainment.
However, the DJ made headlines after he pulled all the stops to celebrate his wife’s birthday.
DJ Tira spoiled Gugu Khathi with a sleek Porsche that has since left social media abuzz as petrolheads try to connect the dots about the car’s model.
Petrolheads were divided with others more than convinced that the car was a 718 Boxster GTS, while others made it known that it looked like a Porsche 911 GT3 Auto.
Against the trend, The South African has since connected the dots about some of his flashiest cars, which cost a fortune.
Just like those before him, he has a soft spot for Mercedes-Benz. He has more than three flashiest Mercs, which often trend whenever he spins with them.
Little is known how many cars DJ Tira own, but his rumoured fleet boasts:
- Audi R8
- Mercedes Maybach
- Mercedes AMG Coupe
- Mercedes AMG G-Class G63
- Mercedes-Benz C200
- Mercedes-Benz V-Class
- Rolls-Royce Ghost
Against the reports, DJ Tira hasn’t openly confirmed his fleet to the public.
TWO MEGA MANSIONS?
Apart from cars, he has also invested big in properties and reportedly owns a lush mansion in Willowbrook Estate in Ruimsig, west of Johannesburg. Let’s take a dive into DJ Tira’s haven.
The mansion boasts modern architectural designs that distinguish it from the rest. It’s a palace fit for a king. It’s an absolute beauty, and its cream painting gives it vibrance.
However, little is known about how many rooms the mansion boasts. Thanks to DJ Tira’s Instagram posts, followers have managed to sneak into his mansion.
Despite the mansion being in Johannesburg, the rumour mill has it that he also owned a house in Durban.
Over the years, the two have wowed many with their marriage despite staying separately most of the time.
CAREER
DJ Tira started DJing while he was at University in 1996. In 2001, he released his first record, Real Makoya.
In 2005 DJ Tira was signed under Kalawa Jazzmee. Two years later, he launched his record label, Afrotainment, and the rest was history.
He has since become a brand and has cashed in from endorsement deals.
