Kaizer Chiefs looking to sign back former player!

Kaizer Chiefs want to bring back a player who recently left the club.

Kaizer Chiefs have identified several targets from PSL rivals. Amakhosi are targetting two of Sundowns’ targets. Furthermore, Chiefs are looking at signing this Orlando Pirates star.

Now, their latest target is a former Amakhosi player.

CHIEFS WANT TO RE-SIGN EX-PLAYER

Some big names have left Chiefs over the past few seasons with the likes of Keagan Dolly, Khama Billiat, S’fiso Hlanti all having departed. Meanwhile, talented youngsters such as Dumisani Zuma and Puso Dithejane have left due to discipline reasons.

Zuma left due to an alcohol-related incident in tandem with Chiefs’ zero tolerance policy towards substances. Meanwhile, Dithejane was involved with an incident with a ball boy.

However, it is the latter that has been deemed not so serious. Ultimately, not serious enough for Chiefs to not look at him again. In fact, Amakhosi regret letting him go. Additionally, they want to re-sign him and bring him back to Chiefs.

“There have been talks at the club and there were different views from different people at the club about letting Puso go and now they are looking at what happened as a mistake and they would want to have him back at the club,” the insider stated on SoccerLaduma.

So, Dithejane is Amakhosi’s latest transfer target under Nabi. However, it will not be easy given the way the club and player parted ways.

EX-AMAKHOSI STAR FELT DISRESPECTED BY SOWETO GIANTS

Dithejane grew up playing for Chiefs.

Furthermore, he was a part of their DDC side and graduated through the academy. Therefore, he felt disrespected by the manner in which he was released by the club.

“However, it will all depend on the player. He felt disrespected that he left the club but at the same time he has grown at the club and he would love to come back and play there again. so it’s a catch-22 situation right now but the club has made it clear that they would want to have him back at the club,” he continued to state on the same publication.
