The Six have had EastEnders viewers gripped for over 18 months, so it would be an understatement to say that they were in demand at this year’s Inside Soap Awards!
After dedicating months of my life to trying to solve the mystery of whodunnit and whowasit, it was my mission to grab them on the red carpet, fresh from their Best Showstopper win, for a chat with Metro.co.uk.
And, guess what! I succeeded. You’re welcome!
Once my fangirling was out of the way, we got down to the nitty gritty – what is ahead for The Six?
It’s already been an incredibly dramatic ride so far, both leading up to and following the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters). Since burying him beneath the café, The Six have confided in countless locals, fallen into alcoholism, suffered psychotic breaks and even jetted off to Australia.
More recently, it seemed like things were set to come to a head when the women confessed all to Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) after Dean Wicks’ (Matt Di Angelo) dramatic trial.
However, it seems as though there is plenty more still to come, as Lacey Turner, Letitia Dean, Diane Parish, Gillian Taylforth, Kellie Bright and Balvinder Sopal all gave us a one word (in most cases) teaser of what’s still to come.
Starting off strong, Sharon Watts star Letitia offered up ‘drama’, something we’re sure will be provided in bucketloads.
‘Twists,’ was Stacey Slater actress Lacey’s contribution, fresh from showing off her new baby bump on the red carpet.
Kellie, who plays killer Linda Carter, promised ‘tears’, while Denise Fox star Diane cryptically suggested ‘choices’, while holding on tightly to their trophy.

Gillian, who plays Kathy Beale, took a similar angle when she suggested, ‘decision making’, before being informed by Kellie that that was in fact two words. The more the merrier, I say.
Rounding off our short but sweet chat, Suki Panesar actress Balvinder teased ‘thrills’.
With all that and much more still to come, we are certainly on the edge of our seats to see where this story goes next!
