The Love Is Blind season seven reunion is finally here, and it was one of the most chaotic of the series. There was clearly so much left unsaid between the couples that broke up, and tensions were at an all-time high. We learnt things we’d never even heard about before, arguments came out of nowhere, and our favourite Rolex wearer came out looking pretty good. So, here’s a rundown of all the reunion chaos from Love Is Blind season seven. Buckle up, they all hate each other and it’s going to be a very bumpy ride.
Nick’s journal entry
In what seemed like a plot twist to all those Nick fans out there, Hannah exposed a very suspicious diary entry he had written. The diary entry was dated September, and Nick had written that he wanted to be “the most famous person on Love Is Blind.” Hannah found the entry and questioned his true reasons for coming on the show, and he got some serious heat from her, Marissa and Alex.
Nick’s defence was that he’d written the diary entry three months ago, and it was more of a 90-day goal. Still, he did NOT come across well. Maybe Nick isn’t the green flag we all thought he was!
Marissa’s mum going off on Ramses
Marissa and Ramses had one of the most heartbreaking splits I’ve ever seen in the history of Love Is Blind, so watching Marissa’s mum go in on him was actually very satisfying. When hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey came to Marissa, she was already getting emotional about having to relive the breakup. Marissa’s mum told Ramses “you weren’t there to pick up the pieces of my daughter. You broke her.” What a legend!
Stephen’s pity party
Before it was Stephen’s turn to talk, he was already butting into everybody else’s sections. Nick and Vanessa had to tell him to stop and that they would get to him – and boy, did they! Stephen hosted the pity party of his life after getting slated by Monica. He said he wouldn’t get into what was in the dirty text messages he sent that broke up his marriage out of “respect” for the woman he was talking to, but Monica responded with “well you didn’t have any respect for me.” Scathing!
He then basically moped and said “nobody wants to hear my side of the story,” and refused to talk about much else.
Tyler addressing the situation with his kids
The reunion saw Tyler finally address the biggest mystery of Love Is Blind season seven – why did he tell Ashley his kids wouldn’t recognise him? Well, he revealed that he lied to the cameras while telling Ashley the truth off-camera to protect his friend, the mother of the kids. In his words, he said that he donated sperm to a friend, but after she was allegedly left “high and dry” by her partner, he stepped in to help. It was apparently a very complicated situation but he’d explained everything to Ashley off-camera. I’m still not fully clued up on what happened, but I’ll leave all their business to them.
Brittany and Leo actually being besties
Brittany and Leo went from being one of the most controversial, hated couples to the new favourites. Everyone had lovely things to say about Leo, including that he was really misjudged by how he came off in the pods. He sincerely apologised for his behaviour to both Hannah and Brittany and explained that he and Brittany were now besties. What a world we live in!
Alex and Tim’s fiery row
Alex and Tim were definitely a highlight of the Love Is Blind season seven reunion, and their destructive row was wild. Tim and Alex barely let each other get a word in, and Nick and Vanessa recommended they have a private chat after the reunion finished. What on earth they had left to talk about, I don’t know.
Hannah and Katie having it out
Katie was Hannah’s “best friend in the whole world” during the show, but it didn’t take long for that to change at the reunion. Katie was there and claimed to still be very close with Hannah, but they watched a snippet of an argument between Nick and Hannah where Hannah blatantly said that she “didn’t trust” Katie. Talk about awkward!
