Nick from Love Is Blind season seven was one of the fan favourites and was generally considered a huge green flag. Although he had a rocky relationship with Hannah, he was sweet and caring most of the time and seemed to genuinely love her. Now that Love Is Blind is over and the reunion has aired, people are starting to notice Nick hasn’t always been the green flag we thought he was. Here’s a rundown of all the reasons it just might be true.
The journal entry
Obviously, we have to talk about what went down at the Love Is Blind season seven reunion between Nick and Hannah. The two bickered as you’d expect, but Hannah exposed a massive revelation about Nick that took place two weeks after filming ended. Hannah was visiting Nick and read a journal entry that was dated September 2023. It read “I want to be the most famous person on Love Is Blind.” He tried to defend this by saying it was a 90-day goal which he had written three months ago before even being selected for the show, but Hannah didn’t buy it. Even if he had written it three months prior, it still doesn’t look great for him.
Nick never stood up to Hannah
Now please don’t think I’m blaming Nick for the way he was treated, but it’s clear both Nick and Hannah have some communication issues. If Nick had communicated the way he felt with Hannah, their relationship may have headed in a different direction. Even at the reunion, when Hannah was literally saying she stood by everything she said, he just responded with “she’s entitled to her opinion and I respect her for that.”
When he told the other guys Hannah was only a five after the proposal
Nick really let us down when Monica revealed some wild accusations against him. She boldly claimed Nick was “not happy” with the way Hannah looked, and said he rated her a “five out of 10.” He also allegedly called her a “grenade.” Stephen backed this up as well as Marissa, and she called him a “f*****g fake. Ramses also said that it was “time to be honest” but Nick just denied, denied, denied.
Not knowing how to boil water
This is pre-reunion drama, but still just as important. Yes, Hannah herself called the way she treated Nick “cruel” and “demeaning” but it was painful to watch Nick not know how to boil water. How do you make it almost 30 years through life and never heat up water in a pan?!
