Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema trended on X on Monday, 30 September when a social media user suggested “he’s not well and should take better care of his health”.
JULIUS MALEMA: ‘WA NY**LA SHEM’
The EFF leader Julius Malema slammed social media user @SiphoKolanisi1 who advised him to look after his health.
Sipho shared a photo of the politician and wrote: “Malema must take a break in politics, and look after his health.”
To which Malema replied: “Wa ny**a shem, health meant fat to you.”
The Citizen revealed in 2017 that EFF’s Mbuyiseni Ndlozi said the CIC was on a diet. It is believed he’s cut sugar from his diet and is eating healthier food, following a strict exercise plan.
Despite the politician revealing in numerous interviews that he’s well and eating healthier, some South Africans shared on social media that they prefer the heavier Malema more.
@Juve_ZA85 said: “He’s lost a lot of weight as of recently, and not in a good way.”
@realJack08 wrote: “You looked more intimidating when you were big, now u look innocent and soft!”
EFF FANS: ‘FLOYD’S DEPARTURE HIT YOU HARD’
@Bosele_Nkwe: “Mara you look terrible shem. Go shetxe fela voice le mahlapa (only your voice and insults left). Floyd’s departure hit you so hard.”
@StHonorable: “On a serious note, your health is declining, and it’s crucial to address it.”
@SiR_MelGZA: “Mara wa lwala CIC (but you’re sick). That’s not healthy even Stevie Wonder can see. We can tell nge khanda nkul, kuthi wheeeee”
@ZizinjaAbelungu: “You look good president, in order for these dom kops to see if you are healthy, you must have a big stomach like Gwede.”
@_Makhanya_: “He’s perpetuating the stereotype among the black community that being fat equates to being healthy and living comfortably. Where it’s the polar opposite. When you are fat you prone to all type of lifestyle diseases and your organs are fighting for their life.”
