Kaizer Chiefs may have started the current season with a bang but things have suddenly gone from promising to bad.
A number of new signings, including Bradley Cross, Inacio Miguel and Rushwin Dortley have done well so far.
However, there are many questions around Rwanda goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari and his struggles since joining Chiefs.
Ntwari arrived from TS Galaxy in the off-season, and he instantly became Chiefs’ No.1 ahead of Bruce Bvuma and Brandon Petersen.
However, a section of Chiefs fans are NOT impressed at all with his performances of late, and wants him dropped.
Against Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday, one fan invaded the pitch and confronted Ntwari to probably tell him he’s had enough of his displays.
Ntwari went on to concede four goals as Chiefs suffered their heaviest ever defeat in a Cup match.
But what are Ntwari’s numbers saying since joining Chiefs. The South African website takes a look…
KAIZER CHIEFS NO.1 FIACRE NTWARI’S NUMBERS
Ntwari came in highly rated from TS Galaxy after Chiefs couldn’t sign Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.
But he’s yet to find his feet with fans complaining about the number of goals he has conceded since his arrival.
The Rwanda international has conceded in each of the matches he’s played except for the SuperSport United game which Chiefs won by 4-0.
This is a huge contrast given Ntwari’s performance for TS Galaxy last season where he kept nine cleansheets in 24 matches.
Ntwari conceded 23 goals across all competitions at TS Galaxy, but at this rate, he could let in more than that at Chiefs.
SHOULD AMAKHOSI DROP NTWARI?
