The collateral damage of the sordid Diddy episode has claimed one victim and this time it is singer Beyonce who has lost 4 million followers on Instagram.
Followers are turning their back on Beyonce on Instagram, because of the Diddy scandal.
Beyonce followers have dropped from 320 million followers to 315 million.
It is an open secret that Beyonce and Jay Z are close friends and collaborators in Diddy’s music business and netizens are accusing the famous and richest showbiz couple of being in cahoots with Diddy.
While some netizens have labelled them as guilty, others are calling them complicit while still, others accuse them of criminal silence at Diddy’s white parties where he sexually abused girls and boys.
Some even accuse them of killing some famous artists to make way for Beyonce.
However, these are conspiracy theories but the crux of the matter is people are abandoning Beyonce.
Comments have been flooding Beyoncé’s Instagram account and netizens are linking her to the ongoing controversy surrounding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs‘ trafficking scandal.
On September 30, Bey posted several pictures of the singer at the SirDavis whiskey event in Paris. As already reported Beyoncé launched an American whisky brand called SirDavis along with Moët Hennessy, a part of the French luxury giant LVMH.
Beyonce was wearing a plunging Gucci dress with gold platform heels coupled with a platinum blonde wig. In the post comments, netizens said,
“She’s trying to keep her skin white to reduce her sentence.”
A second user highlighted the similarities between Bey’s style choice and that of Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe and wrote,
“Cosplaying a dead woman is insane.”
According to media house Vibe, netizens are questioning if the singer was aware of the illegal activities within the music industry, especially related to Diddy.
An angry netizens wrote,
“We want the truth,” wrote one user,
Another user commented in a more caustic manner,
“Selling your soul really wasn’t worth it was it? What goes up MUST come down!”
A third user posted,
“I can’t wait to see Jay-Z go down for everyone he’s wronged.”
Diddy is now cooling heels behind bars following his arrest in New York City earlier this month. He has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking through force, fraud, or intimidation, and transportation for prostitution.
