AmaZulu have roped in another coach from Soweto giants Orlando Pirates in the form of Mncedisi Sibiya.
Sibiya joins AmaZulu as their Reserve Team head coach; the position he held at the Buccaneers before stepping down.
He replaces Vusumuzi Vilakazi who was promoted to the position of co-coach with the AmaZulu senior team.
Vilakazi will work closely with Kaizer Chiefs legend and former coach Arthur Zwane as reported by The South African this week.
Sibiya’s arrival means AmaZulu have now acquired two coaches from the Soweto giants in the space of two days.
This is not the first time that Usuthu have roped in a coach from Soweto as another Chiefs legend in Reneilwe Letsholonyane having worked there.
Letsholonyane’s stint was short lived though as he was released from his contract following AmaZulu’s bad start in the Diski Challenge.
Usuthu took to their social media platforms to announce the arrival of Sibiya, who is a former professional player.
Sibiya played for Manning Rangers and Golden Arrows during his playing days.
He finds AmaZulu Reserve Team sitting in position six on the log with nine points from their opening six matches.
They are four points behind log leaders Kaizer Chiefs who have collected 13 points from their six matches.
