‘Besotted’ female police officer’s dad gives his verdict after daughter’s ‘passionate’ affair with married colleague

A FEMALE police officer’s dad has spoken out after his daughter’s affair with a married colleague.

PC Tony Eronini romped with younger WPC Chloe Caulfield at their police station, a patrol car and outside their local gym.

The romeo cop, who is in his 30s, had only recently wed his partner in September 2021 at a lakeside hotel.

During their fling, the dad even acquired a pair of knickers from WPC Caulfield after she took them off at the station and gave them to him.

The affair was exposed after WPC Caulfield’s long-term partner found incriminating ”highly suggestive” texts between the lovers.

They reported them to bosses who began a disciplinary investigation.

But now WPC Caulfield’s father Gareth has revealed his daughter repaired her relationship and has a baby girl with her partner.

He told MailOnline: “I asked my daughter what she had been up to. She told me that there was no affair – just text messages.

“He pestered her for up to six months. They were sending each other messages.

“I have not asked her about this thing with the knickers as quite frankly I don’t want to know.”

He also claimed “there is no proof” of the affair happening on CCTV.

Both he and WPC Caulfield, aged in her 20s, were found guilty of gross misconduct and discreditable conduct following a disciplinary hearing.

The panel said the pair failed to carry out their duties and obligations to the best of their ability” due to them “engaging in sexualised messaging and interactions whilst on duty”.

PC Eronini, from Ashton-under-Lyne, resigned in January this year, while Caulfield quit last year after 22 months in the job.

The panel was told Caulfield was in a long-term relationship at the time and lived with her partner.

As PC Eronini was married and couldn’t use his home, the pair would message each other “van”, “the steps near the gym” and “police kit”.

The court heard this was in reference to places the couple would meet and occasionally have sex.

PC Eronini and WPC Caulfield denied any sexual activity but accepted the explicit text messages had been exchanged while they were on duty.

He also accepted ”discrediting” his wife and his job.

PC Eronini also refused to rule out leaving his wife, who he had wed a year before the tryst in a lavish ceremony.
