All 16 Betway Premiership teams were in action this weekend – with some mouthwatering clashes having taken place.
It was first weekend of the 2024/25 season in which every team suited up.
Five matches were played on Saturday, 28 September, with a further three on Sunday, 29 September.
In the standout fixture, defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns edged Kaizer Chiefs in controversial fashion at the FNB Stadium.
Masandawana stayed top of the log, undefeated after three matches.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates also remained perfect after three fixtures with their win over Richards Bay.
