We have got a breezy few days ahead of us, and those winds out of the south are going to give us near-record-breaking temperatures for the midweek. Expect highs in the upper 70s to near 80 for both Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds will be sustained 5-15 MPH, with gusts as high as 30 MPH. Expect partly cloudy skies for Tuesday, then more sunshine Wednesday.
By Thursday, winds will be a bit stronger, with highs sticking in the upper 70s. That’s out ahead of a cold front that arrives during the afternoon, bringing us some rain showers for Halloween. I don’t think we’re looking at a washout, but I would keep umbrellas handy for Thursday afternoon and evening.
Once that cold front passes, we clear up quickly on Friday, and temperatures fall back to the upper 50s. We start warming up as we head into the weekend, with temperatures sticking above average for the first several days of November.
