EastEnders confirms two more exits from Walford after the end of Nish
Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) arrest for Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) murder was the talk of Albert Square on Monday’s EastEnders.
But while all the locals gossiped – or in Kim Fox’s (Tameka Empson) case, kept her social media followers up-to-date with the developments – there was an update on Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
Eve was last seen leaving Walford a few weeks ago, heading up to Yorkshire to be with her estranged mum, who dying NIsh had arranged to have attacked.
In the weeks since, Nish wormed his way back into the Panesar family after tricking Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) into revealing the secret The Six had been keeping about Keanu’s murder last Christmas.
Having used this to blackmail Suki into a reunion, their grandchildren were horrified to walk in on Nish attacking his ex-wife on Friday.
After Avani Nandra-Hart (Aalyiah James) pleaded with him to finally let Suki go and do the right thing by her, something seemed to change in him.
The Six were stunned when Nish was then arrested after deciding to take the fall for Keanu’s murder.
With The Six’s ordeal now seemingly over, it was revealed on Monday that Suki has fled the Square.
As Denise Fox (Diane Parish) worried about the impact Nish’s incarceration was having on Avani, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) reminded her what was at stake, before revealing that Suki had since headed up to Yorkshire to be with Eve.
With Nish now out of the picture, will ‘Sukeve’ finally get their happy ever after?

Alfie’s heartbreak as Kat turns to other men as he admits love in EastEnders
Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) was left heartbroken by ex-wife Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) on Monday’s EastEnders amid hopes of a romantic reunion for the pair.
The former Queen Vic landlord had finally been ready to admit his feelings for Kat when he spotted her flirting with two men in the pub.
The pair have been spending more time together in recent months after Kat and their children moved in with Alfie following her split from Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).
However, recent weeks have been particularly testing for them, after social services found out their son Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) had been abusing Kat and hurting his younger twin brothers.
Kat was devastated when Tommy was taken into care, and all-out Slater war erupted when Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) later confessed she’d been the one who called the social.
On Monday, Alfie sought to try and get Kat’s relationship with her relatives back on track, plotting with Jean’s daughter Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) to arrange a chance meeting in The Vic.
Kat eventually decided to hear Jean out, who explained she’d made the call knowing how hard it was to parent a troubled teenager after her experiences with son Sean Slater (Rob Kazinsky).
After things further thawed between Kat and Stacey, Kat tenderly thanked Alfie for helping them to resolve things.
Kat and Alfie: A complex EastEnders love story
On-off EastEnders couple Kat Slater and Alfie Moon have a long and complicated history, which began when they were part of a will-they-won’t-they storyline while working behind the bar of the Queen Vic in 2002.
After finally getting together, they tied the knot on Christmas Day 2003, but were ripped apart a year later by Kat's jealous ex, gangster Andy Hunter (Michael Higgs), who threatened to kill Alfie unless Kat slept with him.
Realising their feelings for one another were still there, they gave their marriage another shot and left Walford for pastures new at the end of 2005.
Five years later, they made a bombshell comeback when it was revealed Kat had been having an affair with Alfie’s cousin Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) and was pregnant with his son.
They eventually reconciled, with Alfie agreeing to bring Tommy up as his own. However, they were heartbroken when their baby ‘died’ – before it was later revealed Ronnie Mitchell had actually swapped their baby with her son James, who had died from cot death.
After a joyous reunion with baby Tommy, the pair were torn apart again when Kat’s subsequent affair with Derek Branning (Jamie Foreman) was exposed.
But a reconciliation eventually followed – as did their twin sons Bert and Ernie – before Kat and Alfie swapped the Square for Spain in 2016 after winning big on the lottery.
Two years later, a broke Kat returned to Walford having split from Alfie again, after cheating on him. When he later followed home, the couple had a short-lived reunion before Alfie was revealed as the father of Kat’s cousin Hayley Slater’s (Katie Jarvis) baby daughter Cherry.
With their relationship in tatters, Alfie did a bunk from Walford in 2019 after scamming £50k out of Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), who Kat later went on to have an unlikely relationship with.
When Alfie returned to Albert Square again three years later, he sabotaged Kat’s wedding to Phil, but it wasn’t enough to split them up and they rescheduled their nuptials.
However, after Kat discovered Phil had cheated on her with Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit), the pair split and she moved in with Alfie.
Witnessing Kat touching Alfie’s face, Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) remarked to Alfie about their undeniable chemistry.
A grinning Alfie couldn’t hide his delight, as he admitted he’d previously thought their relationship was firmly in the past.
But he was then saddened as he turned around to see Kat and Stacey chatting up two men across the pub.
‘Sometimes, the timing just ain’t right,’ Freddie told Alfie.
Is Kat and Alfie’s reunion over before it’s even begun?

Emmerdale’s Charity perplexed as Ross makes unexpected move – with consequences ‘confirmed’
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) was left absolutely reeling in Emmerdale as Ross Barton (Michael Parr) made a move on her, despite her being married to Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).
Ross, as viewers know, returned to the eponymous village last week and wasted little time in making his presence felt, kickstarting a feud with Mack, who berated the returnee over letting Moses attend his illegal fight.
Charity was equally appalled with Ross’ actions but felt that given what he’d been through with losing Rebecca and Seb, he deserved another chance and thus she went out of her way to help him secure a job at Butlers.
But Ross struggled to rein in his dislike of Mack and proceeded to wind him up about his own past with Charity. Things reached boiling point when Ross – believing fight organiser Jade to be intimidating him – fired a warning shot on the farm in front of Moses.
Mack was left reeling over the fact that Ross put his own son’s life in risk and thus he notified Charity, who gave her ex another lecture about needing to step up and be a good dad for his son.
Monday’s (November 4) offering of the ITV soap saw Ross attempt to make things right, calling over to Jacob’s Fold with a packet of sweets for Moses.
Mack referred to Moses as ‘our son’, which Ross didn’t take too kindly too, which prompted the farmhand to reiterate his previous stance – in order to be a dad to Moses, Ross needs to make more of an effort.
Ross, however, did the opposite during a subsequent heart-to-heart with Charity as he attempted to kiss her.
Charity pushed him away, telling him that nothing will happen between them and nor does she want it to but Ross wasn’t listening, which prompted Charity to say it louder, telling him that she has no intention of revisiting their past fling.
The audacity of Ross left her rather speechless and, fearing what Mack might do to Ross in retaliation, she refrained from telling her husband about his actions.
Seeing how much Mack cares for Moses, Charity was left truly touched and gave him a kiss.
The question is: will Mack find out about Ross’ blatant attempt to cause a rift between he and Charity?
And what’s more, will Ross succeed in coming between the couple? Or are Mack and Charity solid?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX.
