Hamas & Hezbollah have been decapitated but WORSE terror threat is ready to unleash hell – we must act, warns ex-colonel

IRAN’S Houthi rebels are now a “major” threat after the “decapitation” of Hezbollah and Hamas, a former Brit colonel has warned.

Yemen‘s Houthis are “largely undamaged” by Israel‘s seven-front war – and still have “significant capability”, Colonel Richard Kemp, 65, told The Sun.

Hamas’ October 7 attack has sparked more than a year of bloodshed as Israel battles to wipe out Iran’s terror proxies.

While Israel has ruthlessly eliminated Hezbollah’s chain of command and assassinated Hamas terror boss Yahya Sinwar, Yemen’s Houthis now “have to be dealt with”, Colonel Kemp said.

He said: “The Houthis are largely undamaged so far. We need to look out for a potentially greater terrorist threat than we’re seeing from them now.”

As Israel has continued its war against Hamas in Gaza, Houthi rebels have sought to help their Iranian-proxy pal by terrorising ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Just this month, the Iran-backed militia launched an explosive-laden drone boat at a Brit oil tanker.

The Houthis have threatened to “escalate military operations” as the conflict between Israel and Lebanon threatens to explode into all-out war.

Colonel Kemp, who led Brit forces in Afghanistan, said: “The Houthis have significant capability.

“I think it ought to be a higher priority for Western countries to try and deal with the Houthis.

“They there have been strikes against them, but they’ve been largely token.

“I think the time probably will come soon where they have to be dealt with – much more strongly.”

The “sophistication” of the Houthis’ year-long blitz has been “made possible by Iranian arming, funding and sponsorship”, Colonel Kemp said.

They have been “particularly effective” due to the “havoc” caused to international shipping in the Red Sea.

Last November, the $50million British-Israeli Galaxy Leader cargo ship was hijacked by Houthi pirates.

Its entire international crew were taken hostage in a “revenge” move for Israel’s war in Gaza.

Nearly a year later, the Houthis still have control of the car carrier and have been using the ship as a trophy to taunt to the West.

And Vladimir Putin is reportedly now helping the Houthis blitz British and US ships – bringing Russia and the West on a collision course.

Colonel Kemp warned wiping out the Iran-backed terror army would not be an “easy task”.

Colonel Richard Kemp

Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have both tried to deal with the threat from the Houthis for many years – but “didn’t get very far with it”, he added.

“The Houthis are a very effective organisation,” Colonel Kemp said.

“They also use long range ballistic missiles and drones.

“Early on in the campaign, the first ever war in space took place when the Houthis fired a ballistic missile.

“Its trajectory went outside the Earth’s atmosphere and was intercepted by an Israeli Arrow 3 missile, also outside the Earth’s atmosphere.

“It was the first ever example of conflict in space that we’ve seen in history.

“This just shows you the level of sophistication all made possible by Iranian arming, funding and sponsorship.”

Although Iran has “far greater control” of Hezbollah, it still has control of the Houthis in terms of funding and weapons, Colonel Kemp said.

And the rebels have been less of a focus for Israel and the West over the last year.

Colonel Kemp said: “I think it’s an area we need to look out for in the future, a potentially greater terrorist threat than we’re seeing from them now.

“There’s a range of options for Iran to consider as it tries to figure out how to undo the damage that’s already been done.”

One option is for Iran to “latch” onto other terror group – such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS – “to give them greater capability”, Colonel Kemp said.

“We can be sure of one thing – these terrorist organisations are going to continue to be a threat, not just in the Middle East, but also around the world,” he warned.

Last week, Hezbollah named its new boss as Naim Qassem – an ageing terrorist who gave a chilling speech this month vowing to fight on.

Qassem, the former deputy leader, is replacing Hassan Nasrallah – who was killed by Israel last month in massive airstrikes on Beirut.

His accession to the top of Hezbollah will make him the chief target for Israeli assassins, who have already killed dozens of terror chiefs in Lebanon and Gaza.

He takes the reins as Hezbollah defends against an Israeli invasion in the south of Lebanon.

When Qassem was appointed, Israel’s Defence Minister Yoav Gollant said: “The appointment is temporary. The countdown has begun.”

Who are the Houthis?

THE Houthi rebels have spent months terrorising the Red Sea by launching persistent missile and drone attacks on vessels and warships - but who are they?

The Shia militant group who now controls large swaths of Yemen spent over a decade being largely ignored by the world.

However, since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war they sprung from relative obscurity to holding roughly £1trillion of world trade hostage – turning one of the world’s busiest shipping lanes into an active warzone.

Their warped battle cry is “Death to America, Death to Israel, curse the Jews and victory to Islam”.

Why are they attacking ships?

In October last year, the rebel group began launching relentless drone and missile attacks on any ships – including warships – they deem to be connected with Israel in solidarity with their ally Hamas.

In reality, they targeted commercial vessels with little or no link to Israel – forcing global sea traffic to largely halt operations in the region and sending shipping prices around the world soaring.

The sea assaults added to the carnage in the Middle East tinderbox as intense ripples from Israel’s war in Gaza were felt across the region – with Iran accused of stoking the chaos.

The Houthi chiefs pledged their Red Sea attacks would continue until Israel stopped its offensive in Gaza.

The group’s chiefs have previously said their main targets are Israel, and its allies the US and Britain.

And despite repeated threats from the West and joint US and UK strikes blitzing their strongholds in Yemen – Iran’s terror proxy appears undeterred.

‘Attacking a girl for her looks, I don’t agree’ Dani Dyer defends Declan Rice’s partner Lauren after ‘cruel’ trolling

DANI Dyer has defended Lauren Fryer, a fellow WAG, after she found herself subject to ‘cruel’ abuse from trolls.

Declan Rice‘s girlfriend, Lauren Fryer, 25, recently became the target of nasty keyboard warriors calling for the player to leave her as he “could do better”.

The abuse led her to remove all her Instagram photos and subsequently, Declan, 25, publicly defended her and declared his love for the mother of his son, Jude, two.

But now, mum-of-three Dani Dyer, 28, who is engaged to boyfriend of three years, England and West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen, 27, has defended Declan’s long-term partner.

In today’s cover star magazine interview, Dani tells Fabulous: “I love Lauren. She’s just so nice and I feel like I’ve known her for  years.

“We got to know each other as Declan played for West Ham, but definitely built more of a bond in Germany, because you spend so much time together.

“It was so hard for her, the trolling, as she doesn’t put herself out there.

“I think it’s harder when you are not in [the celebrity world] and you are being personally attacked. I found that hard.

“She is a really good mum, who keeps to herself. No one deserves to be criticised like that.”

‘So cruel’

Opening up on the ‘cruel’ abuse, she continued: “It was so cruel. We didn’t speak about it a lot.

“What we did talk about is how she is so nice and so great and looks absolutely gorgeous.

“Plus, she’s Dec’s childhood sweetheart and you can see how much he adores her.

“So, attacking a girl because of what she looks like, in this day and age, I don’t agree with it.

“She got a lot of support from all of us, which she definitely needed, 100%.”

‘Times have changed’

Of course, because they were back in Germany, the England WAGs were comparisons to the 2008 Baden-Baden World Cup that famously featured Victoria Beckham, Cheryl and Coleen Rooney.

Being back in Germany, this year’s Euro WAGs were compared to those from 2008 – Victoria Beckham and Cheryl Cole[/caption]

But Dani claims: “Times have changed, though. Back then, it was a big deal to get a photo, but with social media, most of us are on Instagram

“I knew there would be pictures, so I thought: ‘I’ll get a blow-dry,’ but then the heavens opened, so I have my hair scraped back  in a plait in lots of the photos!”

‘So embarrassed’

Dani, who is mum to 18-month-old twin daughters Star and Summer, and Santiago, three, shared all on supporting her fiancé Jarrod at the Euros.

Whilst the footballing pro may not have featured in Gareth Southgate’s starting line-up, he certainly made an impact when he was brought on as a substitute.

How Dani Dyer transformed her reputation

The daughter of everyone’s favourite EastEnders geezer Danny, is currently living the high life.

But Dani has had a rollercoaster few years, from her Love Island win back in 2018, to watching her son’s father Sammy Kimmence go to prison for fraud, and now navigating her glamourous new life as a WAG and mother of twin babies.

In recent years, Dani has completely shaken off the ‘chav’ persona, and has become one of the most well-known of the current England WAGs.

Fabulous spoke to celebrity PR expert Ed Hopkins to find out the key steps Dani has taken to reinvent herself, including the tips she has borrowed from iconic WAG Cheryl Cole.

Ed revealed that Dani’s ability to navigate personal challenges, such as the scandal involving Sammy, has greatly played a crucial role in her reinvention.

Ed said: “By openly discussing her struggles and triumphs, she has built a strong, relatable persona.

“Her transparency about her personal life, including solo parenting and dealing with public scrutiny, has garnered significant public support and empathy.”

He also shared that Dani’s openness in discussing the challenges of motherhood, has helped to transform her reputation.

Ed said: “This openness has made her more relatable to a broader audience, particularly young mothers. She balances her public image by sharing both the joys and hardships of parenting, creating a more nuanced and authentic brand.”

Dani is often seen supporting West Ham winger Jarrod, including during England’s devastating loss to Spain in the 2024 Euros.

Her unwavering support for her partner, has cemented her as one of the most well-known WAGS of this generation, according to Ed.

He said: “Her active support for Jarrod, including attending football matches and engaging with fans, mirrors the strategies used by high-profile WAGs like Cheryl Cole and Victoria Beckham, who also stood by their partners publicly and built their own identities alongside them.”

Not only this, but Ed revealed that Dani has been able to stay relevant over the years due to her candid use of social media.

He said: “Dani has consistently used media platforms to share her narrative, from interviews to social media updates.

“She has managed to stay relevant by engaging with her followers through candid posts and professional collaborations.

“This approach is reminiscent of how Victoria Beckham transitioned from pop stardom to a respected fashion designer, using media to reframe her public image.”

Dani explains: “It was a great experience. The girls are all so lovely – it can be really scary meeting new partners, but they were all gorgeous.”

Despite this, the Love Island star shared her awkward handbag blunder, as she admits: “Although they had to teach me what a Birkin was, as I didn’t know.

“They were all talking about them and I said: ‘Yeah, I’ve got Birkenstocks.’ And they all laughed, going: ‘It’s a handbag.’ I was so embarrassed!

“I came home and said to my friends: ‘Why didn’t anyone tell me about the Birkin? I really need to change my style.’

“But they were so welcoming. It was nice to have friends you can relate to [on being in a relationship with a footballer], whereas I’ve got my friends at home who have babies and I love that I can chat to them about being a mum.

“We were all in it together, and then some of their partners had moved clubs over the summer, so we all offered support. It was such a great experience.”

Social services wouldn’t leave us alone with our baby when he returned from nursery covered in bruises – it wasn’t us

WHEN Adrianna Czachor, 28, took her baby to the doctors for his one year vaccines she never imagined the hell that she would be put through.

The admin worker and husband Matt Kolacinski, 29, a software engineer from Warrington, Cheshire, picked up their then 12-month-old son Jonatan from Cheshire Day Nursery, in Warrington, Cheshire, and were hoping he’d had a happy day.

The mum took her baby to the GP who reported the ‘unexplained bruising’ to social services[/caption]

But when they arrived at 4.30pm they say he was standing in the middle of the room crying and had a dirty nappy.

With an appointment to get to at the GP surgery across the road in five minutes, they scooped him up, and headed over to change him there.

Using the baby changing area in the waiting room, they were shocked when they spotted two bruises – one each side – on his abdomen above his hips.

Worried, they pointed them out to the nurse during the vaccinations. She called in a doctor who told the family to stay put, while a social worker was called to meet them, they claim.

But when the GP couldn’t get one to come, the parents say, they were told by the GP, shortly before 7pm, to go straight to hospital, where they were met by a social worker, because the bruises were “unexplained”, they say.

When the parents spoke to the doctor they realised “this is serious”.

It was so traumatic that when I woke up the next day I had blanked all memories of it.”

Adrianna

The family say “interrogations began” on their arrival at the hospital at 7pm, on August 15.

Reports say a paediatric consultant advised the bruises “appear to be non accidental” and an out of hours social worker supervised the family until they were discharged.

Doctor after doctor was called in to look at his injuries, and Adrianna and Matt were asked to repeat what had happened multiple times – and they say they felt like “suspects”.

At 11pm they say they were told they would not be able to stay with their son alone, they claim – so had to call Matt’s mum to come and supervise the family.

Police conducted checks – which were all clear – on other family members, who might be called to supervise.

Half an hour later a meeting was held between social workers, medics and the parents, and they were told a section 47 was being opened.

A Section 47 enquiry is initiated to “decide whether, and what type of, action is required to safeguard and promote the welfare of a child who is suspected of, or likely to be, suffering significant harm”.

WATCHING ON FROM BEHIND GLASS

Determined to get to the bottom of it, the parents consented to a full body x-ray – and were terrified they would lose their son, they say.

Throughout the night they watched – while under supervision – their son have more physical assessments and bloods taken.

The family – and social services reports – say nothing untoward was found.

The next day the family remained in hospital while they say police and social workers contacted the nursery, as part of the section 47 investigation.

A social worker called Adrianna to ask about the bruising, she said, and suggested they were “old” – which she felt was an accusation.

At around lunchtime on August 16, the tot had his full body scan – made up of 25 x-rays, mum claims.

Distraught Adrianna said because of the section 47, she wasn’t able to comfort her son – who was crying for his mum – instead having to watch from behind glass.

The family said that they were allowed home unsupervised at around 11pm on August 16 – 28 hours after they were first told to head straight to hospital where they would be met by a social worker.

SWNS
The bruises were thought to be caused by the fact Jonatan was in his highchair at nursery for up to two hours[/caption]

SWNS

Reports seen by Fabulous say police went to the nursery and watched CCTV which showed he was strapped in a high chair at Cheshire Day Nursery, in Warrington for between “74 minutes” and “approximately two hours” – which likely caused his injuries.

A report says they were allowed home when “injuries were confirmed to have been caused by the nursery chair not the parents”.

On August 30 the council’s children’s services department wrote to the family to let them know they had “closed the case” into Jonatan.

A report says “Cheshire Day Nursery did not see the bruises as they had not changed your nappy for some time”.

It is recommended nursery staff change a child’s nappy ‘as soon as it’s needed, but at least three times a day: morning, lunch, and afternoon’, according to online advice.

An email which the family says is from the nursery area manager says he was changed at 10.30am and 2.30pm – and staff did not see any bruises.

The note says they have used the chairs for “over 20 years” without incident.

The nursery said in a statement that his time in the highchair was spread over “four separate occasions for short periods across the day”.

They said they were “sorry” he had been bruised and while they admit the council’s report “concluded that the straps on the chair could possibly have caused a bruise” they say it was “not conclusive”.

‘I THOUGHT I WOULD DIE OF MY SADNESS’

Adrianna was so traumatised she suffered from a trauma response called psychogenic amnesia – where she forgot what happened – and is still off work, she says.

Adrianna, an admin worker from Warrington, Cheshire, said: “This was truly awful for us, and it was absolutely terrifying.

“It was so traumatic that when I woke up the next day I had blanked all memories of it.

“They came flooding back when I talked to Matt but I went to the doctor because I thought I had had a stroke, but I was told this was a trauma response.”

Adrianna wasn’t ever separated from her son – because they managed to have Matt’s mum there for supervision – but feared it would happen.

“When we weren’t allowed to be alone with him I was begging and pleading with them not to separate us,” she said

“I thought I would die of my sadness.

“It was like someone reached into my chest and pulled at my heart.

“I just can’t believe something like this has happened to us.

“One moment I’m thinking about him needing a snack and having his vaccinations, then I see the bruises and I ask for help and I’m treated like a criminal.”

“And they’ve found the nursery to be at fault but no action has been taken.”

I get such bad anxiety now if I think about sending him to another nursery

Adrianna Czachor

“I just can’t get my head around that.

“I just don’t think the nursery was treated as severely as we were.

“I’m worried this could happen to someone else.”

A ‘closure record’ report shared with the family – which is written as if it is directing the tot himself – from Warrington Borough Council says: “During this investigation it was determined that the bruising to your upper hip area was sustained through being in a chair for a prolonged period whilst in nursery.  It was not a safeguarding concern in relation to your mum and dad.”

HOW TO CHOOSE A NURSERY

Selecting the right nursery for your child is a crucial decision that can impact their early development and future learning.

Here’s how to pick the right childcare for you…

1. Understand Your Needs

Location: Determine whether you need a nursery close to home, work, or a relative’s house.

Hours: Consider the nursery’s opening hours and whether they align with your schedule.

Budget: Establish your budget and find out the cost of nurseries in your area. Remember to check if you’re eligible for any government funding or tax-free childcare schemes.

2. Research and Recommendations

Word of Mouth: Ask friends, family, and other parents for recommendations.

Online Reviews: Check websites like Daynurseries.co.uk for reviews and ratings.

Ofsted Reports: Read the latest Ofsted inspection reports to gauge the quality of the nursery. Look for nurseries rated ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’.

3. Visit the Nurseries

First Impressions: Note the cleanliness and safety of the environment. Is it welcoming and child-friendly?

Facilities: Check the indoor and outdoor play areas, sleep areas, and toilet facilities. Are they well-maintained and appropriate for the age group?

Security: Ensure the nursery has robust security measures in place to keep children safe.

4. Staff and Ratios

Qualifications: Enquire about the qualifications and experience of the staff. Ideally, there should be a mix of qualified teachers and experienced carers.

Staff-to-Child Ratio: Ensure the nursery adheres to the recommended ratios:

1:3 for children under 2 years

1:4 for children aged 2 to 3 years

1:8 (or 1:13 with a qualified teacher) for children aged 3 to 5 years

5. Trust Your Instincts

Gut Feeling: Finally, trust your instincts. If a nursery feels right and ticks all the boxes, it’s likely a good choice for your child.

Choosing a nursery is a significant step in your child’s early years. Take your time, do thorough research, and visit multiple nurseries before making a decision.

The right nursery will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports your child’s growth and development.

Jonatan had only been at Cheshire Day Nursery for four days after his parents were unhappy with his care in two previous settings.

They say they were called on Monday, 19, to ask where Jonatan was and sent an invoice for the following month which Adrianna says was a “slap in the face”.

The couple asked for a refund and were eventually told their £1,600 deposit will be returned, and all fees were eventually refunded on October 8th.

Adrianna said she’s so traumatised by the experience that she’s still off work looking after Jonatan.

She said: “I get such bad anxiety now if I think about sending him to another nursery.

“You have to be able to put your trust in childcare providers and this has really damaged our ability to do that.

“I didn’t have any doubts about them – they have a good reputation and he settled quickly.

“I can’t believe they thought we might bring him back or that they invoiced me.

“This has had a massive impact on our family, and the nursery just seem to be carrying on regardless.”

A spokesperson for The Cheshire Day Nursery said: “We were very sorry to hear that the child suffered bruising and appreciate this has been a distressing time for his family.

“The Local Authority report concluded that the straps on the chair could possibly have caused a bruise but was not conclusive.

“As is common practice, the child was put into the highchair on four separate occasions for short periods across the day, including when he was eating his breakfast, morning snack and lunch.

“On the day, he showed no signs of distress, and our team did not notice any bruising. Police have reviewed CCTV and have confirmed they will not be investigating any further, while the Local Authority said there was no evidence of malicious intent to harm the child.

“We have been using these highchairs for many years without incident. We have been advised by the Local Authority to be completely sure that the straps on the chairs are keeping children safe, but do not restrict them.

“The safety of the children in our care is always our number one priority.

Crystal Palace lining up swoop for Ligue 1 striker starlet as they refuse to meet Mateta’s huge wage demands

CRYSTAL PALACE have put Oumar Diakite at the top of their list of Jean-Philippe Mateta replacements.

The Eagles have watched Reims’ Ivory Coast striker for months as we revealed — and again last week.

Mateta faces leaving Crystal Palace[/caption]

Diakite, 20, could be sold by the French club and Palace want to be at the front of the queue in case contract talks with Mateta stall.

Mateta’s run of goals this year and his emergence in France’s Olympic squad has attracted interest.

Palace want him to stay and may yet meet his demands for a new deal on around £90,000 a week.

The striker has five goals this season but watched as defenders Marc Guehi and Trevoh Chalobah helped Palace to a 2-2 draw at Wolves.

Manager Oliver Glasner said: “As I mentioned, I think we could have decided the game in the right moments when we had the momentum on our side, that’s what we didn’t do.

“But overall, I think [the players] were asked: ‘are they able to score a goal as they are, when so many players are missing?’ And the team, the players, showed the right answer.

“I mentioned it at the press conference before the game: it’s time for others to step up.

“We had two defenders today scoring goals after set-plays, and also we created a lot of chances so overall, I think the mood is okay, and we go back to London with an unbeaten week, so everything’s fine.

“It’s football, and for me what is [important] is that we play our way, that we play with confidence, we play forward, we try to score goals.

“I think this is what we’ve found again this week: this playing forward, attacking style, playing with bravery. This is how we want to play.

“Overall, I’m really pleased with the performance.”

All the Strictly exes who had to work together after splitting – as Kai and Nadiya ‘refuse to stand next to each other’

PROFESSIONAL dancers Kai and Nadiya are said to be avoiding each other backstage on Strictly Come Dancing.

But it turns out, the pair are by no means the only couple who have been forced to work together on the BBC One show after splitting up.

Many of the professionals have had to work together after their split[/caption]

The Sun previously revealed backstage tension engulfing the show as Kai Widdrington, 29, and Nadiya Bychkova, 35, ‘refused to stand next to each other.’

Following their break-up, the duo were reported to be completely avoiding each other behind the scenes.

Things are so frosty between the professionals that they stand on opposite sides of the set during the live BBC broadcasts.

Ever Saturday night, Claudia Winkleman gathers the pros and celebrities together in the ‘Clauditorium’ after each performance.

When The Traitors host interviews the contestants, Kai and Nadiya have purposely stood apart during the segments.

But the duo are not the only couple to have fallen victim to the Strictly Come Dancing curse.

During the very first series, Brendan Cole left his fellow Strictly professional fiancé, Camilla Dallerup in the spring of 2004.

He was said to have fallen for his celebrity partner and inaugural winner Natasha Kaplinsky, although the pair did not confirm they were romantically involved.

Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace were together off the screen until 2007.

She waltzed off with her Strictly partner, Matt Di Angelo, who was just 20-years-old at the time.

Although he insisted that he wasn’t the reason for the split, as he confessed to the Daily Mail: “The funny thing was the story did not start off as true, but the more you read it, the more you started to believe it and actually act on it.”

Professional Kevin Clifton tied the knot with fellow Strictly dancer Karen Hauer in July 2015.

However, less than three years later the pair called it quits in March 2018, although she insisted they were still friends during an interview on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show.

One of the biggest scandals to engulf the show came in October 2018 when Seann Walsh was snapped locking lips with his dance partner Katya Jones.

Strictly Curse - The Lowdown

STRICTLY Come Dancing's latest series has already been hit by rumours of a BBC show 'curse' - yet what is it?

A host of Strictly Come Dancing stars have been struck by the Strictly Curse during the past two decades.

This is where celebrities who may or may not be attached in the outside world become more than friends with their professional partners.

A total of 20 relationships are said to have been impacted so far over the show’s 20 years.

It has seen relationships crumble with dance floor romances and punishing rehearsal schedules to blame.

This includes the partnerships of Louise and Jamie Redknapp as well as Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer.

Controversially, Judge Craig Revel Horwood once said of the curse: “I think of it as a blessing, to be honest. One person is married, the other one had a girlfriend but my point in this entire thing is: if you come on Strictly, sometimes you are in a relationship that is not working anyway.

“There has to be something wrong in your relationship before it all goes awry.”

Series one winner Brendan Cole left his fiancé, fellow Strictly professional Camilla Dallerup, during filming for the very first series in spring 2004.

Brendan was said to have fallen for his celebrity partner and inaugural winner Natasha Kaplinsky, although the duo didn’t confirm they were romantically involved.

This was at the time when Katya was married to fellow professional Neil Jones.

Seann and Katya gave a toe-curling apology to fans on the spin-off show It Takes Two, before their ‘dance of shame’ was watched by 10 million people.

Katya and Neil initially put on a brave face during the scandal before they called time on their romance in 2019 after 11 years.

Reflecting on Kai and Nadiya, a source revealed to The Sun: “It’s painfully obvious Nadiya and Kai are in the awkward post-break up phase and struggling to be near one another.

Strictly 2024 pairings

Here's who is matched with who this series...

“Obviously that’s the risk that comes with dating someone at work, so they’re both trying their best to steer clear of each other.

“When the pair are in the Clauditorium, they’re always on opposite sides. Although they may have big smiles on their faces when the cameras are running, it’s been very tense between them.

“They refuse to be near each other at all on set- but there’s not much room up there with all the professionals.

“They just have to do their best to avoid each other every weekend.”

Inside Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas’ £700-a-night family holiday to Turkey with waterpark INSIDE the hotel

RYAN Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh have whisked their kids away for a lavish holiday in Turkey at a plush £700-a-night resort with its own water park.

The family are soaking up the sunshine at Cullinan Belek, a resort which promises “unique experiences filled with serenity and joy” in the country’s Antalya district.

Former Coronation Street star Ryan, 40, captured the sun-soaked grounds of the resort in an Instagram video which showcased an array of loungers surrounded by palm trees.

He then panned a video of huge orange water slides twisting and turning in corkscrew fashion alongside a huge set of green steps and wrote: “A water park in the hotel,” followed by a hand clap Emoji.

The dad of three then captured his youngest daughter Lilah, aged two, making full use of the facility as she pulled on her armbands and paddled in the pool.

Another slide saw her sharing a kiss with her mum, former TOWIE star Lucy, before she gave big brother Roman, aged four, a hug.

Fitness app founder Lucy, 33, was also quick to document the idyllic getaway in a video posted to her Instagram Stories.

Ryan hailed their gang the “half term crew” as they posed outside a set of palm trees.

Mum of two Lucy looked stunning in an oversized white linen shirt, worn unbuttoned to expose her blue bikini top, and matching wide-legged trousers.

She pulled on a pair of sunglasses and clutched an iced coffee as she posed for her snap.

Ryan, dressed in a nude shirt, blue shorts and sun hat, juggled one child in each arm as he posed for the sweet family clip.

Lucy set up the camera and then scooted back to the bunch.

They encouraged Lilah, in a green swimsuit, and Roman, in an all-black outfit, to give a big wave to the camera.

One fan was quick to comment on the heart-warming clip and wrote: “Lovely Vid, Hope Yous Are Having A Super Time Lucy xx”

A second simply put: “Beautiful family xx”

A third then quipped: “Look at those two cuties????? Kids are looking angelic too lol xxxxx”

Stays at the plush venue come in at around £700-a-night – with guests promised an experience that is “beyond a holiday.”

It has been an exciting month for Ryan, who recently celebrated his eldest daughter Scarlett’s 16th birthday.

Their latest trip came after Lucy threw her man a lavish 40th birthday bash in Portugal.

Back in March, they also headed to Dubai to celebrate Ryan’s Dancing on Ice win.

Yet the couple were promptly holiday-shamed by some internet trolls after it was revealed the UAE excursion was a freebie.

‘Our aim is to challenge to try to win the WSL, says Manchester United Women’s boss Marc Skinner

WHILE  Manchester United have parted company with two senior men’s team bosses in the last three years, one Red Devils gaffer is set to reach a new milestone.

Today against Arsenal Marc Skinner will oversee his hundredth game at the helm of their Women’s Super League side.

Marc Skinner hopes to guide his side to victory on his 100th game in charge of the Red Devils’ WSL team[/caption]

It is the first time in a top-flight coaching career, that began at Birmingham City in 2015, that Skinner has reached this mark across all contests at one club.

And the head coach has another target in his sights – a first WSL title win for the club.

Skinner, 41, who was appointed in July 2021, said: “There’s been lots of ups and downs as a manager reaching 100 games here.

“It’s the first club I’ve achieved this for and I’m really proud. I want to be successful and be here for another hundred games.

“Regardless that it’s a great milestone, we’ve got to try and win this game.

“We’ve got to win trophies and keep progressing this team and that’s what I’m here to do.

“I’ve got to make sure I maintain focus on every single game and see where we go.

“Our aim is to be challenging to try and win the WSL.

“But we also have to understand the competition we’re up against and that it’s not a give-me.”

In May Man United made history under Skinner winning the Women’s FA Cup for the first time following a 4-0 defeat of Tottenham.

The Red Devils boss also faced criticism at times from some supporters following losses to Liverpool and Chelsea preceding a fifth-place finish last term.

This season his side have got off to a flying start and are currently third and three points off leaders Man City with a game in hand.

Along with Chelsea and the Cityzens, they are the only top-flight side yet to lose a league game this term.

So far they have been defensively solid, conceding just once in four WSL games this term with Phallon Tullis-Joyce impressing in goal.

However today’s game will see the American shot stopper come up against a side in the top five for the first time this term.

Skinner adds: “We’re looking to test ourselves. It’s a big test on game five, so we’ll see where we’re at”.

Arsenal’s visit comes after their return to winning ways before the international break under interim boss Renee Slegers.

One win from their first four WSL games was among the results that led to former boss Jonas Eidevall resigning on October 15.

However, Slegers, 35, has backed the Gunners to remain on track following their 2-0 win against West Ham last month.

Arsenal’s stand-in gaffer said: “I can imagine how you can look at it from the outside.

“We know what’s happening on the inside and we’ve seen a lot of positive things

“We’re very positive about what’s ahead of us, but we know a lot of hard work and ownership is going to be needed.”

Despite their mixed results in the league Skinner believes Arsenal will be a threat

He adds: “We’re going to face a team that could either be wounded and really want to show that or hopefully a team we can take advantage of.

“But they’re a fantastic team and one that will be difficult to play against.”
