Chelsea fans LOVE Eden Hazard’s reaction as Blues legend is pranked by barber with Tottenham shirt

CHELSEA fans hailed Eden Hazard’s reaction after he was hilariously pranked with a Tottenham shirt by his barber.

Blues icon Hazard, 33, spent seven hugely successful years at Stamford Bridge between 2012 and 2019.

He scored 11 goals and assisted 85 in 352 appearances for the club, winning two Premier League titles, two Europa Leagues, as well as the FA Cup and League Cup.

He left for Real Madrid five years ago – a move that failed desperately.

But the Chelsea faithful have never held that against the Belgian – who also earned 126 caps and scored 33 goals for his country.

And it appears Hazard reciprocates the love between him and Blues supporters.

A-Star Barbers chose to prank him by putting the print of a Tottenham shirt on his apron cape.

And when it was put on him he was not having any of it.

Hazard said: “Bro, what are you doing man?”

The former Lille man then threw it off as the barber laughed at the brilliant response.

A third replied: “💙👏legend.”

While a fourth said: “You don’t try that with a Chelsea legend man.”

A-Star Barbers have cut a host of footballers’ hair including Jack Grealish, Erling Haaland and Paul Pogba.

Five officers from special police force Wayne Couzens worked for investigated over sharing offensive material

a bald man with a beard is looking at the camera

FIVE officers from the special police force which murderer Wayne Couzens used to work for are being investigated over sharing offensive material on WhatsApp.

A chief inspector, an inspector, a sergeant and two constables with the Civil Nuclear Constabulary are suspected of being in the online chat.

The group is believed to have been discovered when the chief inspector had his phone seized when arrested over other matters by Kent Police.

They all face misconduct hearings and have been suspended from duty at the force’s base in Dungeness, Kent.

Couzens, 52, worked there before he joined the Met Police and later murdered and raped Sarah Everard, 33, in 2021.

Catherine Bates, Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) regional director, said: “Messages like the ones shared in this group have absolutely no place in civilised society.”

A spokesperson for the police watchdog said: “We decided that an investigation was required into the officers’ conduct and that it was suitable for the matter to be investigated by the force’s professional standards department.”

A CNC spokesman said: “We have a current investigation which relates to five Dungeness officers.

“One is a CI who has been suspended for some time in relation to other matters. This is a Kent Police investigation.

“The four newly suspended officers are all stationed at Dungeness.

“The matter was referred to the IOPC who determined that the CNC should investigate and did not take over the investigation. That investigation is ongoing.”

Kemi Badenoch needs to hold the Government to account and show she can win back Tory supporters

Kemi can blaze a brighter Tory trail

KEMI Badenoch is a bold, ambitious appointment as new Tory leader.

It was only in 1992 that the party fielded its first black parliamentary candidate, John Taylor, and in 2005 that its first black MP, Adam Afriyie, was elected.

a woman stands behind a podium that says conservatives
Kemi Badenoch is a talented, principled politician and a symbol not just of the new party but of new Britain

Times Newspapers Ltd

Now the Tories have voted for a first-generation British-Nigerian immigrant as leader.

She is a talented, principled politician and a symbol not just of the new party but of new Britain.

But after a contest which has dragged on way too long, Kemi must now hit the ground running.

She inherits a shattered party, routed in the last election, short of experienced MPs and riven by factional in-fighting yet again.

The Tories need inspiration, unity and a return of its front-foot spirit.

At all costs they must show that under new leadership they are a party capable of government.

Angry voters are reeling from a £40billion tax bomb in Rachel Reeves’ budget. They are furious at what seems to be Sir Keir Starmer’s open-door policy on migrants and massive pay bungs to the unions.

Kemi Badenoch needs to hold the Government to account on every one of these issues and show that she can win back the Tory supporters who defected to Reform.

It is a huge in-tray to grapple with.

But if anyone can, Kemi can.

Rich pickings

IT IS astonishing that the eyewatering sum of £1.7billion was lavished on just one firm last year for working with asylum-seekers.

Clearsprings Ready Homes is raking in a staggering £4.8million a DAY from long-term deals with the Home Office.

Boss Graham King is well on the way to becoming the UK’s first migrant billionaire.

In a week when the country has been taxed to the hilt, farmers are up in arms and pensioners cannot afford to heat their homes, this staggering outlay will stick in the craw of voters.

As we have pointed out, this year alone the quota of illegal migrants will cost the Government £3.2billion to process.

Sir Keir Starmer has called this “a matter of national security”. He is absolutely right.

But the PM needs to make sure his response to the crisis this week produces results.

While the Tories also splurged billions on the crisis, they at least had the Rwanda scheme to halt the crossings.

Since ditching the Rwanda plan, what have we seen from their Labour successors?

So far, precious little.

Donald Trump is bookies favourite to enter White House after punters correctly called 2020 US election

DONALD Trump is the bookies favourite to enter the White House – after punters correctly called the 2020 US election.

After a stormy election campaign, Americans will head to the polls on Tuesday.

Trump is the “firm favourite” to win, bookies say[/caption]

Sitting at 4/6, Republican candidate Donald Trump is a “firm favourite” to beat his Democrat opponent Kamala Harris.

Our Political Editor Harry Cole will crunch the numbers on a special US election episode of Never Mind the Ballots tomorrow night.

The special episode is in association with the Betfair Exchange, which has correctly predicted 22 of the last 24 major elections.

More than £140million has been wagered on the exchange – with most punters backing Trump.

Nine of the top ten biggest bets have also backed the Republican candidate.

Trump is the favourite in five out of seven swing states and neck-and-neck with Harris in an eighth, Wisconsin.

Betfair’s Sam Rosbottom told The Sun: “Donald Trump’s odds have never been shorter at this point in any of his Presidential campaigns.

“The punters are clear, he is going to win.

“While there has been a slight drift on his odds on the past week he is still the firm favourite at 4/6.

“We have seen positive signs for Kamala Harris in a couple of swing states.

“She is now the favourite to win in Wisconsin and Michigan, but Trump is still odds-on to win Pennsylvania, the Keystone State.

“So far more than £140m has been wagered on the Betfair Exchange US Election winner market.

“The majority of it has been for Donald Trump.”

How do the US presidential elections work?

BY Ellie Doughty, Foreign News Reporter

The Democratic and Republican parties nominate their candidates with a series of votes – called state primaries and caucuses – in the run up to the election in November, held every four years.

This gives members the opportunity to choose who they want to lead the party into an election – this year, Donald Trump and following Biden’s resignation, Kamala Harris.

There are also some independent candidates running for president – arguably the most well-known was Robert F Kennedy Jr who pulled out in August and endorsed Trump.

In US elections the winner is not the candidate who gets the most votes across the country.

Instead Trump and Harris will compete to win smaller contests held in each of the 50 states.

Many of the states often vote the same way – but seven of them – Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Wisconsin, Nevada and Arizona – tend to go in either direction.

Each state has a number of electoral college votes – partly based on population sizes – with a total of 538 across the country up for grabs.

The winner is the candidate that gets 270 or more, marking a majority in the electoral college.

All but two of the US’ 50 states – Maine and Nebraska – have a winner-takes-all rule.

Meaning whichever candidate gets the highest number of votes wins all of the state’s electoral college votes.

In 2016 Hillary Clinton won more votes nationally than Donald Trump – but she still lost the election because of electoral college votes.

The candidate who will win this election is the one who secures 270 or more college ballots.

Usually the winner is declared on the night, but it can take days to finalise the result.

In 2020 Joe Biden wasn’t officially announced as the president-elect until November 7.

The new president will be sworn into office in January on the steps of the Capitol building in Washington DC.

Alesha Dixon sparks BGT feud rumours as she reveals close friendships with only two of her fellow judges

a group of people standing in front of a sign that says tain 's got

BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon has sparked rumours of trouble in the judging panel as she’s hinted that she’s not friendly with all of her co-stars.

The former singer and dancer, who has appeared on Britain’s Got Talent since 2012, has revealed two of her fellow judges are close friends – but not addressed her third co-star.

The star also added that it can look friendly on screen, but that’s not always thecase[/caption]

Speaking to OK! magazine, Alesha Dixon explained: “Actually, I consider Simon and Amanda family now.

“Our children hang out together and we see each other outside of the show.”

She added: “There’s a genuine love and friendship there that has built over the years and I cherish that.”

She didn’t mention the newest judge to the scene Bruno Tonioli, who joined the ITV show last year as a replacement for David Walliams.

Whilst not sharing any issues amongst the four judges, Alesha did add: “As somebody who has worked in the industry for a long time, I do know that sometimes you can appear on screen to be friendly with somebody, but that might not be the case behind the scenes.”

The comments come as head judge and entertainment mogul Simon Cowell stepped back from this year’s auditions last month after the shock death of One Direction star Liam Payne.

A spokesman for the programme’s producer, Freemantle UK, confirmed they were pausing auditions when the shock news of Liam’s death broke.

In a statement they said: “Due to the tragic passing of Liam Payne, we have decided to postpone the Britain’s Got Talent auditions. Our thoughts are with Liam’s friends, family and all who loved him.”

Simon, who famously created One Direction, called off the Blackpool auditions shortly after discovering the awful news.

Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, KSI and Bruno then later continued filming, with KSI stepping in for Simon to allow auditions to continue.

A source said: “This news has hit Simon incredibly hard – he is utterly shocked and devastated.

“He adored Liam, and was close to his family with whom he is sure to reach out privately. He didn’t feel it was right to continue with filming BGT, and when it resumes on Saturday, does not feel he’ll be in the right head space to continue.

“All the judges and production crew are being hugely supportive.”

I’ve been celibate for 7 years like MAFS’ Sacha – I’m waiting to find the one but trolls call me an attention seeker

A WOMAN who has been celibate for seven years has double-downed on her reason why.

Alexis, like many of us, grew tired of trying to date and decided to give up altogether.

Alexis has been celibate for seven years after becoming fed up with dating[/caption]

Channel 4
Like Sacha on MAFS’, she was waiting for the right man[/caption]

She revealed all to Truly about why she gave up sex at the age of 30 and why she doesn’t feel like she’s missing out.

Alexis said: “I was fed up with dating, so I decided to become celibate. I have currently been celibate for about seven years now.

“I decided to become celibate due to spiritual development, tired of the dating apps, and just decided to focus solely on my spiritual growth.”

Just like Sacha Jones, a star on this year’s Married at First Sight UK, Alexis has chosen to wait to find the right person for sex.

Sacha revealed on the show: “I have traditional values so I’ve decided to go celibate until I meet the one, I will not settle for anyone that isn’t my husband.

“It’s something that I do when I’m ready to be serious about someone and I don’t just want to give them something that I consider to be really precious.”

While Alexis loves her life and hanging out with her girl friends, she revealed the cruel comments she gets about her journey since sharing it on social media.

Some of the nasty comments include: ‘I cannot see one single reason why this would be of interest to anybody.’ ‘Another attention seeker.’ ‘She has no idea what she’s missing out on.’

Shockingly, Alexis revealed she’s also received threats of sexual assault – all because she chooses to abstain from sex until she meets the right guy.

She revealed that she currently doesn’t miss sex – partially due to her diagnosis with endometriosis which impacts her day-to-day life and can make sex painful.

She revealed that her celibacy is a different mindset to how she was in her twenties – and that now, when she goes on dates men tend to not follow up when she tells them.

“After revealing that I am celibate, guys do share that they no longer want to pursue anything,” revealed Alexis.

Speaking of the trolls who judge her, Alexis added: “To say the least, they need a life check because my decision shouldn’t impact your day-to-day movement in your life.”

The clip shared on YouTube went viral with over 17,000 views and people were quick to praise Alexis for putting herself first.
