MARRIED At First Sight star Lacey‘s mum makes another appearance in the upcoming homestays following fan backlash.
But things don’t go to plan as she begins to flirt with her son-in-law Nathan and jokes that she’d “snap him up”.
Lacey heads home to visit her mum and sister Paige as the process nears the end.
In a preview clip for Thursday’s episode, Nathan is seen doing some DIY as he picks up a paint brush.
But Lacey’s mum uses it as an opportunity to enjoy some flirty banter with the young lad, 24.
She cheekily rubs his shoulders, prompting Lacey to warn her: “Mum, stop flirting with my man.”
The smitten mother-in-law then tells the camera: “If only he was 20 years older, I’d snap him up.”
Earlier this month, viewers watched as Lacey’s mum and sister Paige divided fans during “meet the in-laws” week.
However, fans hit out at “the mother in law from hell” after a disastrous visit.
First, her mother cornered Nathan in the kitchen and intensely quizzed him about whether he actually fancied Lacey – or sister Paige.
The barrage of questions continued over dinner, before the mother in law burst into tears when Nathan made a joke about her cooking.
Vegetarian Nathan ‘bantered’ that the chicken fajitas she had whipped up for them ‘looked like they were from the bottom of the bin’.
Fans were aghast at how the visit went and felt sorry for Nathan, who suffers from ADHD.
Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan blasted: “Lacey’s mum = mother in law from hell.”
Another added: “Laceys mum is MONSTER IN LAW.”
A third chimed in: “Oh Lacey’s mum is awful the mother in law from hell I would be so embarrassed I feel so sorry for him.”
But Lacey jumped to her mum’s defence.
Posting on Instagram, she wrote: “Hey everyone, wanted to clear a few things up, my mum did NOT know Nathan was vegetarian also she had no say in what we was eating, she just was told ur making fajitas!” she posted on her Instagram Story.
She added: “You need to remember it is edited for entertainment and to take it with a pinch of salt!”
This isn’t the first time Lacey’s mum has come under fire by fans.
She found herself in the spotlight during her daughter and Nathan’s wedding episode earlier in the series.
As he made his big entrance for the first time, she shouted across the wedding venue about his appearance.
“Wow, wow, oh my god. Can we swap?!” she yelled.
“Oh wow!” she added, before gasping and holding placing her hands on her face in shock.
Sitting in the front row, Lacey’s mum then continued towards Nathan: “Mummy’s got the approval, she likes!
“Very handsome man, very very handsome man.”
Fans were very quick to brand her “inappropriate”, with one adding: “Genuinely think I would die if my mum acted that way around my husband.”

Carabao Cup quarter-final draw sees Man Utd handed horror tie at City conquerors Tottenham as Arsenal get Palace
MANCHESTER UNITED have been handed a horror Carabao Cup quarter-final tie at Tottenham.
The Red Devils will travel to north London after cruising past Leicester in the last 16.
Spurs beat United’s rivals Man City 2-1 at home this evening.
And they will be hoping to inflict more misery on Manchester when United pay a visit.
Elsewhere, Arsenal will host Crystal Palace after easing past Preston.

FIRMS big and small have slammed the Chancellor for saddling them with extra costs in her Budget.
They say Rachel Reeves’ hike in taxes, despite a vow to be “pro-business”, contradicts her growth agenda.
Even the Budget watchdog reckons more than three quarters of firms will have to react by lowering wages and freezing hiring.
Employers’ National Insurance Contributions (NICs) will rise from 13.8 per cent to 15 per cent. And reducing the threshold means firms will have to pay NI as soon as a worker earns £5,000.
For staff on £30,000, an employer will have to pay an extra £865. The minimum wage increase will also add £1,400 a year per worker.
Small firms who receive 75 per cent business rates relief will see it slashed to 40 per cent, adding £688million in costs next year.
Entrepreneurs will face higher rates when selling their business, with capital gains tax rising from 20 per cent to 24 per cent.

FASHION giant Next predicts its profits could hit £1billion for the first time ever this year.
The retailer said shoppers came in to expand their winter wardrobe — helping sales rise by 7.6 per cent, and beating expectations of a 5 per cent lift.
As a result, it hopes to make £995million to £1billion profit.
Only three British retailers have ever achieved £1billion in profits: Tesco, Marks & Spencer, and B&Q owner Kingfisher.
Next believes spending may have pulled forward profits from the Christmas season, but its predications are known for being overly cautious.
Jab blow hits GSK
DRUGS giant GSK suffered a sharp slowdown in revenue from its blockbuster vaccines in the third quarter, dampening overall sales growth.
Sales of GSK’s jab for respiratory syncytial virus, previously a key driver of sales, plunged 72 per cent year-on-year to £188million, on the back of fewer of the shots being given out in the US.
Shares in GSK fell by 4 per cent yesterday after the pharmaceutical firm said sales in its vaccine business would fall this year, rather than rise.
Boss Dame Emma Walmsley had hoped inoculations would massively drive growth.
Less loss at Aston
ASTON MARTIN LAGONDA has narrowed its losses by 90 per cent in the last quarter.
The firm said losses dropped to £12.2million in the third quarter, against £117million in the same period a year ago.
It sold 1,641 cars in the quarter, 14 per cent up on last year, helped by sales of its Vantage and DBX707 models.
However, its total volumes for the year to date are still 17 per cent lower than last year, partly due to a slump in demand in China.
Revenues rose by 8 per cent to £391.6million — but its debt pile has ballooned by two thirds to £1.21billion.

At least eight injured after land train crashes at Cornwall holiday park as two emergency helicopters scrambled
AT LEAST eight people have been injured after a land train crashed at a holiday park in Cornwall.
Two helicopters were dispatched to Tregoad Holiday Park in St Martin near Looe where eight people were injured after a land train crashed this evening.
Coastguard rescue teams, firefighters and ambulance services were also at the scene.
Devon and Cornwall police have confirmed that eight people were injured but that none of their injuries “are thought to be critical or life-changing at this stage”.
HM Coastguard said: “At around 7pm this evening (Wednesday 30 October), HM Coastguard was called to assist with a road incident involving multiple casualties in Looe, Cornwall. The incident remains ongoing.
“An HM Coastguard Rescue Helicopter from Newquay was sent to the scene, alongside Tamar and Looe Coastguard Rescue Teams. South Western Ambulance Service, Devon and Cornwall Police and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service are also in attendance.”
A Police spokesperson added: “Police are currently at the scene of a multi-agency incident at a holiday park in St Martin, near Looe. We were called just before 7pm tonight [Wednesday 30 October] following an incident involving a land train.”
It comes after a terrified passenger shared the heart-stopping moment they knew they were going to hit an oncoming train seconds before impact.
One passenger died and 15 others were rushed to hospital after two trains collided on a rural single-track railway.
The driver, who ran from his cab to warn a crash was imminent, was left bleeding from the head and a male passenger suffered a fatal heart attack after the low-speed crash in Llanbrynmair, Wales.
It is understood the two trains were carrying 41 passengers and one was unable to stop due to suspected leaves on the track preventing it from braking.
‘BRUTAL’
Passenger Jonah Evans, 25, told The Sun Online: “There was a train that was stopped and the other train couldn’t stop.
“And the driver couldn’t get out of the way with a train in front.
“The driver ran in and sat on a chair and said brace yourselves – we’re about to hit a train.
“Someone lost their teeth, cracked ribs.

“Because the driver told us it was happening, we could kind of get ready.”
A passenger on the Shrewsbury-bound train, Anthony Hurford, described the crash as “brutal”.
He added: “Somehow my body bent the leg of a table and ripped it off its bolts attached to the wall.
“Suddenly I was on the floor with my laptop strewn ahead of me, wondering what the hell had happened.
“We tried to stop at the lights. At the top of the hill, there’s a signal that I guess would have been a passing place and for whatever reason the train wouldn’t stop.
“There must have been 30/40 people from the fire service.
“There was British Transport Police who had come from Birmingham, there were three helicopters, people had come from north and south Wales as far as I’m aware. I was checked by three or four different medics.”
The man who died was in his sixties, police have now revealed.
Chief Inspector Jonathan Cooze(CORR), of the British Transport Police, said the circumstances leading to his death are under investigation.
He said: “While formal identification has not taken place, he is not believed to be a member of rail staff. Our thoughts remain with his loved ones.
“His next of kin have been informed and his family are receiving support from specialist officers.
“A further 15 people were taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“All other passengers were safely evacuated from the train.”
Man, 40, found guilty of forcing unwitting pregnant woman to suffer miscarriage by plying her with abortion drugs
A MAN has been found guilty of forcing an unwitting woman to suffer a miscarriage by drugging her.
Cruel Stuart Worby, 40, secretly plied a woman with abortion medication when she was 15 weeks pregnant which caused her to lose the baby.
He appeared at Norwich Crown Court today where he was found guilty of one count of sexual assault and of administering a poison or using an instrument to procure a miscarriage.
Worby had previously admitted to buying the abortion medication but denied administering it to the woman.
The court was told how Worby administered two drugs to cause a “chemical” abortion usually used very early on in pregnancy.
He also refused to take his victim to hospital for three hours on August 4 2022 while she suffered severe abdominal pain.
The court heard how Worby and his friend Wayne Finney made the “cold, callous and calculating” plan after they “put their heads together”.
But they were caught after the victim read a message on Worby’s phone that read “It’s working, she’s bleeding.”
Before the tragedy, one text message from Finney to Worby read: “They are sending pills today”.
To which Worby replied: “Thanks for being there for me, mate”.
Wayne Finney’s girlfriend, Nueza Cepeda, is also thought to have made a telephone appointment with an abortion centre pretending to be pregnant.
She was given medication and made aware of the heavy bleeding as well as significant pain there would be between 10 to 24 weeks of pregnancy.
Cepeda was informed there could be more permanent damage to the womb.
The pills were delivered to her on August 2 2022 and she met up with Worby and Finney at the George Hotel in Dereham.
Worby himself had previously bought Mifepristone and Misoprostol for £470 from a London gynae on July 29.
Cepeda was caught on CCTV with a white envelope and she left it on a bench.
Worby could be seen picking it up and taking out a blue coloured tablet box.
After his victim had suffered the miscarriage and found incriminating texts on his phone, Worby was arrested on August 5 2022.
Cops arrested him on suspicion of sexual assault for inserting one of the drugs into the woman without her knowledge or consent.
He was then further arrested for procuring a miscarriage by poison after investigators found google searches for Misoprostol.
The sick 40-year-old had also looked up whether a baby would be able to survive an abortion.
Officers discovered an empty pack of Misoprostol in a bin in his bedroom at home, as well as an iphone and a Nokia phone.
Worby had admitted he unlawfully acquired the medication but claimed he had a change of heart, the court heard during his two-week trial.
He said he crushed a pill into the woman’s drink but poured it away, which could explain why it was in the woman’s system.
But Edward Vickers KC, prosecuting, said: “The biggest lie of all was when he said his conscience got the better of him and he couldn’t go ahead with administering the drugs.
“We say that is utter nonsense.”
Worby is due to be sentenced on 6 December 2024.
Wayne Finney, 41, of Station Street, Swaffham, denied intentionally encouraging or assisting in the offence.
He was found not guilty by the jury today.
Neuza Cepeda, 39, of Walnut Drive, Dereham, admitted producing an instrument to be used with the intent to procure a miscarriage.
She is due to be sentenced at a later date.
DCI Duncan Woodhams said: “We pay tribute to the bravery of the victim who has endured the most terrible loss, her courage to come forward and give evidence has been invaluable in ensuring a guilty verdict.
“We also pay tribute to all the medical and health professionals and family, neighbours and friends who have supported the victim in her testimony. The impact of this event could have life-long repercussions for the victim.
“This has been a complex investigation into the deceitful and determined actions of Worby which had such horrific consequences and marks the first of its kind in finding someone guilty of this specific crime.”
