Watch stomach-churning moment ‘fountain of sewage’ the height of a tower block shoots into the sky raining human waste

THIS is the disgusting moment a massive fountain of sewage rains human waste on helpless passers by.

Stomach-churning social media footage from Russia captures a geyser the size of a tower block lasting for several revolting minutes.

The foul fountain rained down in the Novaya Moskva district of Moscow, a Russian Telegram channel has reported.

The raw sewage was catapulted 180ft in the air, with several cars close by that likely got hit with the waste.

There are several residential buildings in the clip, suggesting they were covered too, including anyone unlucky enough to be walking past.

This moment shocked many, who were quick to react on social media to the revolting sight.

One X (formerly Twitter) user captioned the moment with: “A sh*t show, literally.”

Anton Gerashchenko, a self-described Ukrainian patriot, posted the video to his 634,000 followers.

The video currently has over 3.7 million views, over 43,000 likes and nearly 10,000 reposts.

Some were quick to make political jabs, with one person quipping: How nice, Putin did this in celebration of the MSG Trump Rally!”

There was sympathy for those who would have to clean up the huge mess, as seen in a comment reading: “Imagine that it all fall down, transported by wind, smell… beurk!!!

“and the technicians are in the trenches at the frontline.”

Other humorous comments followed, with one person saying: “This is one of those moments where I really, really hope Ukraine did do it.

Some claimed that the sewage infrastructure broke down in Moscow.

The user went onto suggest: “Is this the thermal heating system being purged. In our apartment in Craiova the heating is pressurized in October and the water that come out is rusty coloured like this.”

According to Russia‘s state-owned conglomerate Gazprom, a new section of the gas pipeline is being cleaned out of the air in this way.

According to reports, representatives of the corporation said the situation is under control.

Local authorities are reported as working to contain the damage, and minimize helath risks to the public.

Cleanup crews are expected to remain on the site until the sickly incident is fully contained.

This is not the first time this year that the integrity of Russia’s sewage system has been questioned.

In January, when Russian troops discovered gender neutral toilets in Ukraine, Boris Vishnevsky, a member of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly made a cutting remark.

He said that: “a quarter of Russians do not have centralised sewerage,” citing data from Rosstat, Russia’s state statistics service.

Boris added : “And basically, it is hard to imagine something more gender-neutral than a backyard ‘latrine’-style toilet.”

He was responding to  St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov’s criticism of the gender neutral toilets, as reported by Newsweek.

Ballon d’Or chief explains to Real Madrid why Vinicius Jr didn’t win as star misses out on whopping bonus from club

BALLON D’OR chief Vincent Garcia has explained why Vinicius Jr missed out on the award.

The Real Madrid star finished as the runner-up to Manchester City midfielder Rodri in the running.

Manchester City star Rodri claimed the prize on Monday evening[/caption]

Los Blancos were left fuming with the Brazilian’s snub and released a blunt 52-word statement in response.

The LaLiga giants claimed that the organisation and Uefa “do not respect” the club.

The club also refused to attend the event in Paris due to their anger over the result.

However, Garcia has now explained one reason why Vinicius Jr may have missed out on the top price.

He believes the success of Real’s Jude Bellingham and Dani Carvajal may have cost the Brazilian.

His argument is that the votes that the 2nd and 4th placed stars would have received votes instead of Vinicius Jr.

He said: “Obviously, Vinicius surely suffered from the presence of Bellingham and Carvajal in the top five because, mathematically, that took away some points from him.

“This also sums up Real Madrid’s season, which took between three and four players, and the judges shared their decisions with them, which benefited Rodri.”

The split of votes for Real players allowed for more room for Rodri to be named the winner.

Garcia added: “We were very clear with them [Real Madrid] and with all the other clubs.

“This year, the winner and the prizewinner were not going to be notified.

“I thought that everyone had accepted but at the last minute, I don’t know why, they wanted to change the rule.

“When Real Madrid made its decision, I’m not sure that there wasn’t some disappointment.”

As a result of Rodri winning the Ballon d’Or, Vinicius Jr missed out on a cash reward from Real.

The winger would have been handed a bonus of £833,000 from his club if he had won the award.

Vinicius Jr would have also been the first Brazilian to lay his hands on the individual trophy since 2007, when Kaka won it.

He has spoken out since the snub and claimed that he will be a winner in the future.

He wrote on X: “‘I’ll do it 10x if I have to. They’re not ready.”

Due to Real’s boycott of the event it left one award uncollected.

Last season’s Champions League winners were not able to collect their Club of the Year award.

One-of-a kind supercar with ‘Lipstick Red’ interiors built for daughter of Porsche founder hits auction for huge price

A GORGEOUS one-of-a-kind supercar with a curious interior trim can be yours for an astronomical price.

An extra-special Porsche 911 ‘Turbo Remastered’, which was released in 2024 by Porsche Sonderwunsch, has been described as a once in a lifetime find.

The car’s Lipstick Red interior is what sets it apart[/caption]

The car’s unique interior is perhaps what sets it apart from the rest; upholstered in two-tone ‘Lipstick Red’ and black with red and blue tartan trim.

Built as a tribute to the prototype 911 Turbo – the first ever to exist, which was gifted to Louise Piech, the daughter of Porsche founder Ferdinand Porsche, in 1974 – this modern supercar is powered by the 992-type 911 Turbo engine that can deliver 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and hit a top speed of roughly 198 mph.

Unveiled at the Icons of Porsche Festival in Dubai last year, the one-off 911 marked the model’s 60th anniversary, as well as the famous carmaker’s 75th year.

Piech’s original 911 Turbo, which was also finished in silver, could be specially distinguished by its chequered tartan fabric on red interior that she had personally chosen.

The updated model, built from a collaboration between Style Porsche, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, and the Porsche Middle East and Africa regional office, will be auctioned off by RM Sotheby’s next month – for a listed price of £330,000.

Perhaps what the car does best is show off the world famous Sonderwunsch workshop – Porsche’s special request arm that works with both the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur and the Porsche Classic department.

The Sonderwunsch team is dedicated to taking special requests to help Porsche buyers get the bespoke motor of their dreams; hence their slogan “you dream it, we build it.”

Since it began in the late 1970s, the Sonderwunsch has produced a number of one-off cars for its wealthy clients, which range from unique colour combinations or material requests, through to modifications after the car is delivered to the customer.

This comes as another legendary Porsche sports car that was left untouched and rotting under a layer of snow was restored to its former glory.

A stunning 928 S4, one of the most iconic motors from the 1980s, was left neglected at the side of a house for 15 years in Upstate New York.

Earlier this year, Sun Motors spoke with a car expert who specialises in modern classics – with a special focus on Porsches.

James Russell, of the Motor Grid, spoke very highly of the Boxster, especially the Mk1 model.

James said: “The perfectly balanced, perfect under £10,000 sports car has got to be the 987 Boxster.

“Manual, flat-six, you just can’t go wrong. It’s perfect.”

And finally, the chief designer of Porsche recently revealed that he dreams of designing a smaller and more compact version of the 911, in a nod to its earlier years.

Car design guru Michael Mauer, who’s worked for the likes of Mercedes and Saab before joining Porsche in 2004, is keen for their next-generation 911 to be scaled down – although he admits this could be a challenge.

In recent years, Porsche motors have grown in size, with newer models such as the Taycan and Panamera joining the Cayenne as some of the largest in the German marque’s history.

But even the iconic 911 model has grown in size, with the wheelbase of its recent models stretching by 247 millimetres between 1963 to 2011.

Rob’s movie girlfriend

Naya is not believed to be a real person, but her character is based on the people that Rob was in a relationship with during his time at Yale.

In the film, Camila’s character is from Brazil which prompts Rob to try and learn Portuguese so he can get to know her better.

The pair click instantly and they are quickly caught up in a whirlwind romance.

However, things fall apart when Rob’s drug dealing begins to get in the way of his personal life.

Although Naya reminds him that he doesn’t “have to live like this”, Rob refuses to listen.

The real-life story

Rob grew up in Orange, New Jersey, where his mother Jackie tried to nurture his incredible intelligence.

By the age of three, he had been nicknamed “the professor” and she knew that the schools around their home would not be able to meet his needs.

Skeet, Rob’s father, was a small-time drug dealer who was eventually jailed for murdering two people but Jackie was determined to ensure that Rob maintained a good relationship with his dad.

Eventually, Rob went to Yale and met Jeff Hobbs who would later write his biography entitled The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace.

Rob’s cousin Syreeta Lum You said that he “had friends from all over”.

She added: “He didn’t care whether you were black, white, Hispanic.

“Whether you spoke English or not, he was going to learn the language and he was going to speak it with the right accent.”

Reportedly, Rob wanted to visit Brazil after he graduated and this dream helped inspire Camila’s character Naya in the movie based on his life.

While he was at university, he began selling cannabis to fund his father’s legal battle and was eventually successful in getting his sentence overturned.

However, the state intervened and, eventually, Skeet’s sentence was reinstated.

Tragically, Skeet passed away in prison after a long battle with cancer.

Despite his father’s death, Rob continued to sell drugs which isolated him from his peers at the prestigious university.

After graduation, he landed a job at his former high school. St Benedict, where he was given a teacher of the year award.

Sadly, a real-estate venture gone-wrong landed Rob in financial dire straits and he decided to return to drug dealing.

He was killed on May 18, 2011, in a drug-related incident.

Boozy animal ‘can drink unlimited amounts of alcohol’ with ‘no negatives’ for health or lifespan – and won’t get drunk

a mug of beer with a question mark above it

A BOOZY creature is able to “drink unlimited amounts of alcohol” with seemingly no downsides.

The animal has been described as “remarkable” because it shows “no signs of intoxication or illness” – even after guzzling down “huge amounts” of alcohol.

The Oriental hornet is uniquely capable of drinking almost endless amounts of alcohol safely[/caption]

Researchers described the Oriental hornet as “remarkable” for its booze-busting abilities[/caption]

Now scientists say that the Oriental hornet is the “only known animal” that is capable of such a feat.

Humans are relatively good at consuming alcohol – but still suffer significant effects on behaviour, cognition, and health.

That’s because alcohol is toxic to most animals, even though it’s commonly produced in nature through the breakdown of sugars by yeasts and bacteria.

But researchers at Tel Aviv University say the Oriental hornet is bizarrely exempt from this rule.

Several animals do consume alcohol, like fruit flies and treeshews.

However, both suffer negative effects, including alcohol poisoning and fatty liver.

By comparison, the Oriental hornet may use a clever internal trick to dodge the ill-effects of a boozy drinking session.

“The hornets naturally store yeasts in their digestive system, which provides them with a unique environment that allows the yeast to develop and reproduce, creating new strains,” said Dr Sofia Boucebti, the study’s lead author.

“One explanation is that hornets transfer yeasts to fruits, which indirectly contributes to the production of wine.

“In our study, we labeled the alcohol consumed by the hornets with a heavy carbon isotope.

“As the alcohol is metabolized, it breaks down into carbon dioxide, which is exhaled.

“By measuring the amount of labeled carbon dioxide emitted, we were able to estimate the speed at which the alcohol was broken down.

“The findings were very surprising; we were amazed to see the rapid rate at which the hornets metabolized the alcohol.”

During the study, researchers found that even when 80% alcohol was the only source of nutrition, there was seemingly no effect on the hornet’s behaviour.

ORIENTAL HORNETS – WHAT ARE THEY?

Here's what you need to know.

The Oriental hornet is a type of wasp found in Southwest Asia, Northeast Africa, Madagascar, the Middle East, Central Asia, and some parts of Southern Europe.

They’ve also spread as far as Mexico and Chile due to human activity.

They build underground nests and communicate with each other using sound vibrations.

Incredibly, a yellow stripe on the hornet’s exoskeleton can absorb sunlight to generate electric potential, which may be used to supply energy for digging.

Adult Oriental hornets typically eat nectar and fruits, as well as scavenging for insects.

They also act as a pest to honey bees, attacking colonies for their honey and proteins.

Oriental hornets are a social wasp that will live in colonies with one queen and thousands of workers.

They’re known to have a painful sting, which has the potential to trigger an allergic reaction.

Too much alcohol can have serious effects on the human body – but the same isn’t true for Oriental hornets[/caption]

And there appeared to be no difference to the lifespan of hornets that consumed sugar water versus those that only had alcohol for their entire three-month lives.

This clever superpower is extremely unique, the scientists explained.

“To the best of our knowledge, Oriental hornets are the only animal in nature adapted to consuming alcohol as a metabolic fuel,” said Professor Eran Levin, of Tel Aviv University.

“They show no signs of intoxication or illness, even after chronically consuming huge amounts of alcohol, and they eliminate it from their bodies very quickly.”

He added: “It was discovered that the hornet possesses several copies of the gene responsible for producing the enzyme that breaks down alcohol.

“This genetic adaptation may be related to their incredible ability to handle alcohol.

“We propose that the ancient relationship between hornets and yeast led to the development of this adaptation.”

Scientists say the research could help to develop new models for studying alcoholism in humans.

ALCOHOL – THE ILL EFFECTS

Here are some of the dangers of drinking alcohol, according to the National Health Service in the UK...

Serious risks include:
