Talking on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, the jungle runner-up confirmed The Sun’s exclusive story revealing the Extra Camp comeback for the upcoming season.

Yet he then introduced the rest of the Unpacked presenting “gang” – this being reigning jungle king Sam Thompson, 32, and radio DJ Kemi Rodgers.

Sam then continued: “I am not joking, it is the best show on TV.

“Being a part of it, then being on the other side, is a dream come true.”

Joel then added it was a “real privilege” to be a part of.

We previously told how the sister series will run alongside again with several hosts and offer viewers inside gossip and entertainment on the all star campmates.

Joel confirmed the show would see chats with hosts Ant and Dec every day as well as juicy interviews with campmates.

EXTRA CAMP HISTORY

The last presenters to have fronted the spin-off were Emily Atack and Adam Thomas.

Radio 1 DJ Vick Hope hosted a version of it during 2020 called the Daily Drop on ITV Hub.

A show spokeswoman was first to tell us this month: “Since Extra Camp came off air four years ago the conversation and engagement around I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues to grow across all social media platforms.

“This new ITV2 companion show will bring together all those conversations in one place, to give viewers the ultimate IAC destination for all of their news, gossip and behind the scenes fun around TV’s biggest entertainment show.”

A source said: “There is a huge buzz around I’m A Celeb this year and everyone wants the mischief of Extra Camp to return as well.

“It is believed that there will be a different show name as it makes a comeback with lots of names in the mix to host.

“And it looks like there will be a few presenters as well to add to the fun of the show.”

Stars lined up to appear on the main show include Tommy FuryOti MabuseGK BarryAlan Halsall and Tulisa.

We hated the boarded up banister in our old home so took it off & hit the jackpot – it’s like Barbie’s dream house now

IT’S always a gamble when you start transforming an old house.

But one woman has delightedly revealed she hit the jackpot when she and her other half decided to take on the boarded up banisters in their 1920’s home.

Things looked “basic” at first, but as they pulled the board off, they saw hearts at the top of the spindles[/caption]

And once again was delighted to find the heart spindles beneath[/caption]

She took to TikTok to share a slideshow of pictures of the makeover, as she began: “What is hiding inside these banisters?”

Things didn’t look too good to start off, as they peeled off the boards and revealed what appeared to be plain wood beneath.

“Ooo, okay looking basic queen,” she said.

But as the board was peeled off, she saw that the wood actually had a heart cutout at the top.

“AAAAA THIS IS NOT A DRILL!” she gasped.

“I don’t know why I doubted you!”

Once they’d taken the boards off the bottom half of the stairs, they moved to upstairs, and was hoping that the wood underneath those boards would be the same.

“Yassss, perfect!” she gushed, after uncovering more heart spindles.

There was one more part of the stairs to take the board off – a tiny section going up the stairs.

And once again, the wooden spindle beneath featured a heart on the top of it.

“This is Barbie’s dream house!” she added.

“Oh my God, look at herrrrr!”

She concluded the TikTok with pictures of the before and after, which showed how much lighter and brighter the makeover had made the hallway.

“WHO WOULD COVER THAT UP?” one person questioned in the comments section.

“From experience, children will find a way to get their whole ass arm stuck in there and you’ll need to cut them out,” another pointed out.

“Sometimes they do it to persevere the wood underneath it (you mainly see this happen in older homes),” a third commented.

Home upgrades that add the most value to a house

The best renovation to add value totally depends on your property, the local market and your potential buyers.

Zoopla shared a list of upgrades that will instantly add value to your home.

  1. Loft conversion – increase of 15%
  2. Off-street parking – adds £50,000 to property price
  3. New kitchen – increase of 15%
  4. Garage conversion – increase of 15%
  5. Cellar or basement conversion – increase of 10-15%
  6. Open plan living space – increase of 3-5%
  7. New bathroom – increase of 3-5%

“They also do this for ancient buildings and pretty much use the older building as a blueprint.”

“At least they covered it instead of replacing,” someone else wrote.

“Those hearts are so cute!” another added.

“Completely transformed that area,” someone else said.

“So much light comes through now!”

“Honestly I love that the previous owners or whoever decided to cover it up instead of pulling it out and replacing it,” another praised.

“Yeah people have preferences, but this way two families can enjoy the house!”

“You better never get rid of them, please,” someone else wrote.

“Absolutely not! They are going to be the main event in this room!!” the homeowner replied.

Awkward moment Kamala Harris crowd falls silent when VP makes bizarre request – as Trump insists he’s not a Nazi

KAMALA Harris was forced to laugh off an awkward encounter with her supporters last night as a feeble attempt to fire them up fell flat.

The vice president was making her final stop in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Monday, where she was joined by her running mate Tim Walz and singer Maggie Rogers.

The VP, pictured last night, will give her closing arguments on Tuesday[/caption]

At one point, her enthusiastic fans began chanting her name, yelling “Ka-ma-la, Ka-ma-la, Ka-ma-la”.

The quick-thinking VP tried to flip the script, asking supporters to yell their own names instead of hers.

“Now I want each of you to shout your own name. Do that,” Harris said. “Because it’s about all of us,” she laughed.

A quiet murmur began but the vast majority of the crowd was baffled, lowering signs and looking around.

Harris was quick to recover and laughed off the bizarre moment, continuing her speech: “I have fought my whole career to put the people first.”

Sticking largely to her stump speech, she went on: “Now is the time to get out the vote, Michigan,” as the crowd chanted “vote, vote vote”.

The presidential nominee also spoke directly to youngsters, telling them: “I love your generation, I really do,” noting they are “rightly impatient for change”.

Michigan had the highest youth voter turnout rate nationwide in 2022, with long lines stretching outside polling locations on college campuses.

Harris told the crowd on Monday: “You can vote early now through Sunday, November 3, and we need you to vote early, Michigan, because we have just eight days to go, the Democratic presidential nominee said at an outdoor rally in 50-degree weather.”

“And we will win,” she said. “We have an opportunity to turn the page and chart a new and joyful way forward.”

Thousands packed into Burns Park for the event featuring Rogers, who sang Love You for a Long Time and some of her other hits.

The event also reunited Harris with her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Donald Trump, meanwhile, spent the day in the swing state of Georgia, a day after hosting his controversial rally in New York that saw speakers use crude and racist language.

“I’m not a Nazi. I’m the opposite of a Nazi,” Trump told his supporters at Georgia Tech.

“Now the way they talk is so disgusting and just horrible.”

Before the huge Maga event at MSG, Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris’ running mate Tim Walz, had compared it to a 1939 rally held by Nazi sympathizers at the same venue.

A string of officials who worked with Trump have also recently described him as a “fascist” while the wild rhetoric used at the MSG rally sparked fury among voters.

Comedian Tony Hinchcliffe described Puerto Rico as “a floating island of garbage” triggering condemnation from Hispanic leaders.

Speaking in Atlanta, Georgia, Trump went on to call out former First Lady Michelle Obama, calling her “nasty”.

“You know who’s nasty to me? Michelle Obama,” he said.

“I always tried to be so nice and respectful … She opened up a little bit of something. She was nasty. Shouldn’t be that way. That was a big mistake that she made.”

Obama spoke at a political rally with Harris over the weekend and is set to headline an Atlanta rally for her nonpartisan voter engagement group on Tuesday.

It comes as uncertainty ramps up into the final full week of the 2024 campaign, with Harris and Trump locked in a fiercely competitive presidential contest.

What happens in the coming days will be pivotal in deciding the winner of next week’s election.

Boy, 11, killed & 4 children injured after car veers off road & crashes into Melbourne primary school as driver arrested

ONE child has died and four have been injured after a mother collecting her child crashed through the fence of a Melbourne primary school.

The car hit where five students were sitting at an outside table during a break – with an 11-year-old boy taken to hospital with critical injuries where he tragically later died.

Two 11-year-old girls, one 10-year-old boy and one 10-year-old girl were also injured in the horror collision.

The car, a white SUV, veered off the road and smashed through the fence of Auburn South Primary School in Hawthorne East.

The table the children were sitting at was found just behind the fence under a shade-cloth inside the school.

Video showed the motor with obvious damage to its front-left fender after it came to a halt after passing through the shade-cloth.

The 40-year-old Hawthorn East mother has been arrested by cops, while a primary school-aged child who was a passenger in the car was unharmed.

Victoria Police Inspector Craig McEvoy said the driver was attempting a U-turn before veering off the road.

McEvoy said it appeared the crash was a “tragic accident” and confirmed officers were investigating.

He said: “(It’s) a really tough scene, always when children are involved.”

He said the vehicle that crashed through the school fence had the Australian equivalent of a P-plate on it.

But cops could not confirm what the driver’s licencing status was.

Inspector McEvoy said: “The ongoing investigation will takes days, weeks, months.”

Specialist accident investigation detectives were at the scene gathering evidence.

Little-known way grandparents could boost their State Pension by £6,000 this half term – it’s so easy

GRANDPARENTS could boost their State Pension by up to £6,000 by taking advantage of a little-known government benefit.

Grandparents who look after their grandchildren while parents are working can claim a financial reward for doing so which could bump up the amount they get in State Pension.

Grandparents who regularly provide childcare could be owed a pension boost[/caption]

With legions of grandparents across the country stepping up to provide childcare this half term, now is a great time to check whether you could be entitled to the extra help.

Some 27% of pre-school children are regularly cared for by grandparents as parents struggle with childcare costs, according to government research.

If you’re one of those taking care of little ones you could claim “specified adult childcare credits”, which count as a National Insurance (NI) credit for those who don’t otherwise work, such as retired grandparents.

It is important to be aware of these credits, because you need at least 10 years’ worth to qualify for the State Pension and 35 years’ worth to get the full amount.

The full State Pension is worth £221.20 a week this tax year.

Each qualifying year on your NI record after April 2016 could add up to an extra £6.32 a week through your State Pension.

So, even if you’re only entitled to a small number of credits, they could significantly increase your income over time.

And, wealth management company Quilter has said these credits could make some people more than £6,000 better off over the course of a typical retirement, which is around 20 years.

You can even backdate your claim as far as 2011.

Who is eligible?

Specified adult childcare credits can be awarded to family members who care for a child under 12 while its parents or guardians are working.

The family member must be over the age of 16 and under the state pension age at the time they cared for the child.

Claimants also need to be living in the UK.

To claim specified adult childcare credits, a parent or guardian of the child you care for must claim Child Benefit and they must countersign your application.

When you claim, the NI credits are transferred from the parent or carer who claims Child Benefit to the family member providing childcare.

This does not mean the parent or guardian will be worse off as if they are in work they are likely to be earning credits separately themselves.

If they’re unsure, they can check by looking at their National Insurance record online.

If the parents or guardians do not claim Child Benefit, there are no credits to be transferred and a claim can not be made.

You can claim Child Benefit by visiting gov.uk/child-benefit/how-to-claim.

How to apply

To apply for specified adult childcare credits you’ll need to complete form CA9176, which you can find on the Gov.uk website.

You’ll need to provide your personal details, details of the child you look after, the number of hours of childcare you provide and details of the child’s parent or guardian.

Both you and the parent or guardian must co-sign the application.

Applications can be made from 31 October following a particular tax year. So applications for the tax year 2023-24 can be made from Thursday 31 October.

How much can you claim?

How much you’ll get in extra credits depends on how long you’ve been looking after your grandchildren.

Each yearly credit is worth 1/35 of the value of the state pension.

In 2023/24, 1/35 of the £203.85 a week state pension was £5.82 – close to £303 a year.

This works out at around £6,000 over a a 20-year retirement.

To roughly calculate how much you’ll get, multiply the number of years you have been caring for a child by £300.

What help is available to parents for childcare costs?

CHILDCARE can be a costly business. Here is how you can get help.

  • 30 hours of free childcare  – Parents of three and four-year-olds can apply for 30 hours of free childcare a week.
To qualify you must work at least 16 hours a week at the national living or minimum wage and earn less than £100,000 a year.
  • Tax credits – For children under 20, some families can get help with childcare costs.
  • Tax-free childcare – Available to working families and the self-employed, for every £8 you put in the government will add an extra £2.
