When is Black Friday 2024?

Black Friday falls on Friday 29 November and will run until Cyber Monday (2 December).

It always comes the day after the US holiday of Thanksgiving, which will happen on Thursday 28 November.

How much does ASOS’s shipping cost?

ASOS offers a Premier unlimited next day and nominated day service for £9.95 annually.

Otherwise, standard delivery is £4.50 and will be with you within three days, or is free for orders over £40.

Next Day Delivery is £5.95 and orders need to be placed between 7am to 10pm to qualify.

A NUMBER of classic games have been receiving remakes and remasters allowing more people than ever before to play them.

The Silent Hill 2 remake and Sonic x Shadow Generations both made waves this month, as people are eager to play, and replay these classic games.

Croc is coming to all platforms… except that one[/caption]

That’s why people were thrilled to hear that classic PlayStation platformer Croc: Legend of the Gobbos would be receiving a remaster.

Unlike other older PlayStation games that are available via the PS One Classics library, Croc has never been available digitally.

It is an iconic 3D platformer known for its cute characters and high difficulty.

The remaster includes HD graphics, and the ability to change between the old tank controls and a more modern control scheme.

There will also be a gallery and other behind-the-scenes perks for long-term fans.

While Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remake has been announced for all platforms there is one important service that is being ignored.

Console players will be unaffected as Croc will be coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

It is also coming to PC just not to the platform that everyone expects.

Developer Argonaut Games has revealed that Croc: Legend of the Gobbos will be released on PC exclusively by GoG and will skip Steam.

GoG is a DRM-free platform, meaning that you don’t need a launcher in order to play; instead you download it directly to your PC.

Many platforms like Steam require you to download a proprietary launcher, meaning that your games are licensed and you don’t technically own them.

This is apparently what has led Argonauts to make the game GoG exclusive in an effort to maintain video game preservation.

Good Old Croc

We love that Argonaut care about video game preservation particularly when many companies don’t seem to care about keeping their games alive.

The move will undoubtedly lead to a big drop in sales though as Steam is by far the most popular platform for PC players.

However, it’s exciting to see a studio take a stand and this is definitely the consumer-friendly route to take.
