Dramatic moment Putin’s war factory is blitzed in Ukraine drone strike sparking inferno in latest humiliation for tyrant

DRAMATIC footage showed the moment a Ukrainian kamikaze drone blitzed Vladimir Putin’s war factory.

Two pure alcohol plants were attacked and one site burst into a firey inferno following an earlier raid.

The resulting inferno was caught on camera[/caption]

The Anninsky ethanol distillery, located in Russia’s Voronezh region, was hit by drones just moments after a previous attack.

These plants were used to produce fuel for the explosives used by the Russian military in its war against Ukraine.

Shocking footage showed how the flammable site exploded after the targeted air strike.

The power from the strike forced debris to shoot into the air.

The Governor for the Voronezh region revealed two employees at the Anninsky site were injured.

This fire also damaged several buildings and machinery around the alcohol plant.

A second plant, in the Novokhopersky district of the same region, was damaged by the drone strike but it did not result in a blazing inferno.

The local governor said a roof and tank were damaged in the second attack.

He added the fire was extinguished around 2 am local time.

A Ukrainian official explained why these factories were important targets in the war.

The head of the Centre for Combating Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Andrei Kovalenko, revealed these alcohol plants have a much sinister purpose.

Kovalenko said: “Russian distilleries are used to produce not only alcohol, but also military fuel and explosives.”

He added: “These are all military objects, despite being disguised as something else.”

This strike came after Putin issued a chilling threat to Ukraine on its use of weapons.

Russia’s leader vowed to hit back if Volodymyr Zelensky’s army used long-range missiles on his country.

Putin confirmed yesterday that if the West were to lift their arms restrictions on Ukraine and allow it to fire the long-range rockets it would mark an act of war by NATO and he would have to hit back.

The dictator said: “Our military department is thinking about this and will offer various options.”

Putin said this sort of action by Ukraine would lead him to believe there was Western involvement in an attack.

The tyrant said: “Only NATO specialists can do this, because this requires space reconnaissance, which Ukraine naturally does not have.

“We understand this –  specialists are needed who will enter flight missions based on this reconnaissance data and perform a whole series of other actions.

“The Ukrainian army cannot do this on its own. Therefore, what is happening now is all being done by NATO officers.

“The only question is whether they will allow themselves to strike deep into Russian territory or not.

“And, naturally, we will have to react to this accordingly.”

Paris Fury fans ‘figure out’ the horrible reason the mum-of-seven normally covers her left wrist in Instagram pics

PARIS Fury fans are convinced they have figured out the horrible reason why the mum-of-seven frequently covers her wrist in stunning snaps.

Paris, 34, the wife of boxing legend Tyson Fury, 36, often gives fans a glimpse into her luxurious lifestyle on social media

It comes after the recent news, whereby Tyson revealed that Paris had a miscarriage hours before his Oleksandr Usyk fight in May[/caption]

But amongst stunning selfies and fabulous family snaps, some fans have noticed that she often conceals or blanks out her left wrist in certain photos.

Not only this, but many are convinced they know the real reason behind it.

In a recent Instagram post, Paris shared snapshots from her “Simple Sunday” outing.

She posed in a restaurant while dressed in all black and looked stunning as she struck various poses.

The relatable mum accessorised with silver earrings and a striking silver ring, but fans were left puzzled when they noticed Paris had covered her wrist, sparking a discussion in the comments section.

However, eagle-eyed fans appeared to have discovered the reason behind her decision to use a gold cover-up drawing to hide her wrist from public view.

Many thought it was to hide an expensive watch, to ensure that she is not targeted by thieves.

One fan asked, “Gorgeous. Why is your wrist covered?”

To this, another chimed in and replied: “Seems to be hiding a watch.”

At the same time, a third fan added: “It’s so scummy people don’t know exactly what watch it is so they don’t go and target her to take it.”

Another commenter speculated on Paris’ vigilance and shared: “When people steal it’s normally sold to someone else before it’s stolen.

“I’m guessing she is preventing this from being stolen to order.”

At the same time, other fans were quick to express their admiration for Paris and her family in the comments.

One woman wrote: “Beautiful lady with a beautiful family x much love.”

What is Paris Fury's style?

Despite her £70 million joint net worth with husband Tyson, Paris Fury has surprising affordable fashion taste.

The mum-of-seven has been known to buy clothes from Shein, Zara and ASOS.

She even released her own capsule collection with New Look last Christmas.

That’s not to say she doesn’t have a luxury-loving side, because she certainly does.

One of Paris’ favourite high-end brands is Australian-made Camilla, owned and founded by resort-wear expert Camilla Franks.

Dresses from the posh label can cost well over £2,000, with Paris often wearing them to support Tyson at work or watch his big fights.

Whilst a second complimented: “You look stunning. Simple and classic look.”

Meanwhile, someone else agreed: “So beautiful and classy.”

HEARTBREAKING MISCARRIAGE

The heartwarming messages towards Paris come after the devastating family news which Tyson disclosed recently, revealing the couple had faced a heartbreaking tragedy before his fight with Oleksandr Usyk in May.

In a touching reveal, Tyson explained that six months into her pregnancy, Paris chose not to accompany him ring-side in Riyadh due to high blood pressure complications.

When she said she couldn’t come over, I knew there was a problem

Tyson Fury

Yet unbeknownst to the world, the Gypsy King went toe-to-toe in the fight carrying the heavy knowledge that Paris had suffered a miscarriage back home in Morecambe.

He confessed: “When she said she couldn’t come over, I knew there was a problem. She usually comes out on fight week but she said she had high blood pressure.”

Inside Tyson and Paris Fury's love story

WITH world champ titles, multiple kids and a beautiful wife by his side, Tyson is much-loved by the nation, but his romance with Paris dates back to their teenage years.

Paris met Fury when she was just 15 at a mutual friend’s wedding.

However, it wasn’t until a year later, when their paths crossed again on a night out in Doncaster for her 16th birthday, that they began dating.

Paris explained: “He was my first boyfriend as I was not allowed a boyfriend until the age of 16. He is the only boyfriend I have had.

“Tyson would train in boxing during the week and then come and see me at the weekend. I would always be so excited at the thought of seeing him.”

In 2008, they tied the knot in front of 400 guests and slept together for the first time on the night of their wedding.

In 2016, Fury’s mental health issues, cocaine and alcohol abuse, and intolerable mood swings threatened their seemingly unbreakable marriage.

On occasion, Paris would even contemplate leaving – packing her bags and getting into her car.

However, she’d just stop herself – admitting she couldn’t leave Tyson to “crash and burn”.

Tyson opened up about a personal tragedy and shared:: “I knew she wasn’t coming over on the Friday and [Saudi boxing chief] Turki Alalshikh offered us a private jet to get around the high blood pressure and said he would bring the doctor with her.

“She said she couldn’t come and I asked her what was up and asked her to tell me but she wouldn’t. So I knew, I knew there was a problem.

“I said to my brother, ‘She’s lost that baby’. She never told me she had lost the baby, but I knew.”

“I am not making excuses but she was six months pregnant; it’s not like a small miscarriage at the beginning, you have to physically give birth to a dead child, on your own, while your husband is in a foreign country.

“I could not be there for her in that moment and that is tough for me. To go through that on your own, that isn’t good.”

Greenwood started the game dubbed “Le Classique” on the right-wing but struggled in the opening 45 minutes.

He failed to get into the game and was often pinned back in his own half as PSG dominated.

The one-time capped England international also did not register a shot and gave possession away four times with his passes.

Greenwood was hauled off at the break, with fellow Englishman Jonathan Rowe replacing him.

Asked about the change after the game, De Zerbi said: “Because I didn’t like the way he played.

“If we want to compete for the title we have to push in all matches.

“He’s a good guy but I expected a lot more from him this evening.”

Since joining Marseille in a £26.6million deal from Manchester United, Greenwood has scored six goals in nine game.

But a drought in front of goal has seen the 23-year-old find the back of the net just once in his last six games.

Off the pitch, Greenwood continues to settle into life in France and his girlfriend Harriet Robson is expecting their second child.

People rave about Dunelm bargain buy that keeps your home toasty without turning the heating on & it’s currently 50% off

MOST of us are trying to keep our homes warm without turning the heating on.

There’s plenty of tricks to try but people are swearing by one Dunelm buy to keep heat in and keep cold air out.

Shoppers are raving about a Dunelm winter essential[/caption]

Not only do they keep the light out but it keeps the heat[/caption]

Shoppers have praised the Montreal Ultra Blackout Eyelet Curtains for keeping rooms toasty in the winter and blocking out light.

And the best part? Certain styles are currently included in their 50% off sale.

The curtains range from £20 to £69.30, depending on the colour and size.

These curtains feature three layers of fabric to ensure no light can come through – and they are also perfect for not letting draughts come through either.

Dunelm bosses say: “Made with three layers of blackout coating for premium performance, these elegant Montreal Ultra Blackout eyelet curtains are ideal for ensuring maximum light block and are plain in design to complement any room.

“Designed with a discreet blackout-lined panel which folds down behind your curtain pole to prevent light coming through the eyelets.

“Secured with Velcro fastenings which attach to your curtain pole, these curtains wrap around your window to prevent light from entering at the sides of the curtain and are perfect for ensuring maximum light block.

“The blackout coating also has thermal properties to improve insulation by blocking out heat in summer and maintaining warmth in winter.”

Of course, you can use them on your windows as they were designed but other savvy shoppers have used them across doors too to keep the heat in.

People have been taking to the store’s website to rave about the Chenille Thermal Eyelet Door Curtain, which can be hung over a front or back door to keep draughts out.

“This thermally insulated curtain immediately stopped the cold spots from my hallway,” one person said of the curtain.

“It’s kept the heat in my flat with no extra expense and it has a lovely, soft finish. Wish I’d have done it much sooner!

“A real central heating saver!!”

Happy customers were quick to share their thoughts in the reviews.

The blackout curtains have over 300 reviews with an average rating of 4 stars out of 5.

One person wrote: “Curtains are a perfect fit, great addition to our living room. Keeps draughts out too!”

Another commented: “Curtains hang nice, lovely colour, keeps heat in and light out.”

“They are very lovely, feel really nice. They do what they say, can’t wait for winter, it will be very cosy and warm in my living room,” penned a third.

5 ways to keep your house warm in winter

Property expert Joshua Houston shared his tips.

1. Curtains

“Windows are a common place for the outside cold to get into your home, this is because of small gaps that can let in air so always close your curtains as soon as it gets dark,” he said.

This simple method gives you an extra layer of warmth as it can provide a kind of “insulation” between your window and curtain.

2. Rugs

“Your floor is another area of your home where heat can be lost and can make your home feel chilly,” he continued. “You might notice on cold days, that your floor is not nice to walk on due to it freezing your feet.

“Add rugs to areas that don’t already have a carpet, this provides a layer of insulation between your bare floor and the room above.”

3. Check your insulation

Check your pipes, loft space, crawlspaces and underneath floorboards.

“Loose-fill insulation is very good for this, and is a more affordable type of insulation, with a big bag being able to be picked up for around £30,” Joshua explained.

4. Keep your internal doors closed

“Household members often gather in one room in the evening, and this is usually either the kitchen or living room,” Joshua said.

“This means you only have to heat a small area of your home, and closing the doors keeps the heat in and the cold out.”

5. Block drafts

Don’t forget to check cat flaps, chimneys and letterboxes, as they can let in cold air if they aren’t secure.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Happy with this purchase. The curtains block all the light out completely. They also keep out any draught from the window.”

“Our bedroom is warm and dark thanks to these curtains,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Very thick heavy curtains. Bought for sons room last year. Summer a cool room winter a warm room.”

Trump slams ‘incompetent’ Kamala Harris in fiery Madison Square Garden speech as ‘King of NY’ vows to win back city

DONALD Trump launched a host of fiery attacks on Kamala Harris last night, in a rally that saw his pals label his rival the “antichrist” and the “devil”.

The former president took to the stage in front of 20,000 supporters in Madison Square Gardens, New York, on Sunday.

The 78-year-old was introduced by his wife Melania, who made a surprise appearance for the marathon five-hour event – for which Trump was two hours late.

The line-up of speakers included Elon Musk, Hulk Hogan, Dr. Phil, and comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who sparked controversy by calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage”.

During his speech, Trump called Vice President Kamala Harris “grossly incompetent” and dubbed the former prosecutor a candidate with “a very low IQ.”

“This election is a choice between whether well have four more years of gross incompetence and failure, or whether well begin the greatest years in the history of our country,” he said.

“She’s unfit for office. Everyone knows it,” he said. “No one respects her, no one trusts her, no one takes her seriously.”

His son Donald Trump Jr., meanwhile, followed his brother Eric to the stage, calling his dad the “king of New York,” and insisting he would “reclaim the city that he built.”

Trump himself vowed to take the Big Apple back, projecting he would become the first Republican in 40 years to win the state.

“We want to win our country, but we also want to win New York and make it safe and strong and beautiful and affordable and vibrant again,” the former president said.

“When I left, New York was the place you wanted to be and now people just don’t speak well of it. But we’re going to bring it back.

“And we’re going to bring it back strong.”

Comedian Tony Hinchliffe, meanwhile, said during his set: “I don’t know if you guys know this, but there’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now,” Hinchcliffe said.

“I think it’s called Puerto Rico.”

Hinchcliffe’s set also included lewd and racist comments about Latinos, Jews and Black people, all key constituencies in the election just nine days away.

Harris’ campaign was quick to hit back, with Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny also backing her shortly after.

Trump’s childhood pal David Rem, meanwhile, sent shockwaves with his fiery speech, waving a crucifix and calling the vice president the “antichrist”.

Trumps’ campaign later distanced itself from Hinchcliffe, insisting in a statement: “This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign.”

The wild series of speeches came just days before Americans will learn their presidential fate.

Polls show a neck-and-neck race, both in the swing states and nationally.

The election is already underway, with 40 million Americans having voted early in person or by mail.

It will be decided across battlegrounds including the “blue wall” states of Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, as well as the Sun Belt states of North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada.

The crunch result could come down to tens of thousands of votes, potentially setting the stage for tense counts over several days.

Trump's main policy points

  • Implementing tax cuts, including no tax on tips
  • Protecting Social Security and Medicare – Trump said ‘incomes will skyrocket and the middle class will prosper like never before’
  • Protecting borders – He pledged to end the ‘border nightmare.’ That means two things on day one – ‘Drill baby Drill,’ as he said, and close the borders
  • Finishing building the wall
  • Keeping our ‘sons and daughters safe’
  • Replenishing the military and building a military ‘dome’ – Trump insisted he could stop wars with just a phone call and said no military would be able to penetrate the USA if he came into office
  • Ending the war in Ukraine and imposing tariffs on Iran
  • Vowing to “beat” China
  • Working to decrease prices and ease inflation
  • Bringing down the cost of energy
  • Making cities ‘safe, clean and beautiful’ again
  • Making it possible for Americans to buy gas-run cars by ending the electric vehicle mandate on the first day of his presidency

Ligue 1 captain hands referee document during match in unprecedented move to exploit little-known ‘replay’ rule

AUXERRE caused chaos in their showdown with Lyon after employing a little-known rule which could have seen the match replayed.

The Ligue 1 side requested a “technical reservation” following a controversial penalty decision at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais.

The visitors responded by presenting the ref with a written ‘reservation’ which could have seen the game replayed[/caption]

Lyon were awarded a penalty in the first half of Sunday’s contest after a contentious VAR review.

Georges Mikautadze hit the deck just moments before halftime following a challenge from Gideon Mensah.

But a fuming Auxerre claimed referee Jeremy Stinat had already blown for a goal kick before the foul took place.

Mikautadze stepped up and slammed in the spot-kick, only for chaos to reign on Auxerre’s bench.

Assistant coach Jean Marie Stephanopoli was sent off during the confusion before captain Jubal Junior presented the referee with a written technical reservation.

In French football, this unusual written request can be made immediately after the referee’s decision, before play resumes.

It gives the team the right to submit a direct complaint, in writing, to the French FA Referees’ Commission.

Auxerre presented the written request to Stinat on the field, with the game delayed for almost 15 minutes.

BEST FREE BET SIGN UP OFFERS FOR UK BOOKMAKERS

The reservation allows a team to challenge a decision they believe has unfairly altered the outcome of the match.

If successful, it can see the goal in question annulled and the match replayed.

According to Article 559 of the French football rulebook: “A reservation on technical issues is only admissible if it is made to the referee by the complaining captain at the stoppage of play which is the consequence of the contested decision.

“If the reservation concerns a fact on which the referee did not intervene, it must be made at the first stoppage of play.”

It adds: “The technical foul is only retained if the committee judges that it has an impact on the final result of the match.

“To follow its course, this reserve must be sent, within 48 hours, by registered letter to the headquarters of the Professional Football League accompanied by a sum of €76.

“The Professional Football League transmits the file to the Federal Commission of Referees of the FFF.

“The latter orders the result [to stand] or decides that the match is to be replayed.”

VAR: Imagine the future...

Martin Lipton’s pro VAR view

FAST forward 12 months to May 18, 2025.

After 89 minutes at Molineux, Wolves, needing to win their last game of the season to stay up, are beating Manchester United, who require a point for Champions League football.

A ball over the top sends Rasmus Hojlund racing away. The flag stays down. Hojlund scores. Wolves are relegated.

And on the way home, the dejected Wolves fans see the still image on their phones.

Hojlund was 2ft offside. No question. A shocker.
It means at least a year in the Championship, £100million income drop, a firesale of the squad. While United bank an extra £50m.

But it’s OK. Every  one of those fans, plus smiling boss Gary O’Neil and the  Wolves board, will line up to say: “No worries. It’s what we voted for. Rough with the smooth.”

Yes. And I’ve got a bridge to Ireland to sell you.

Newly promoted Auxerre battled back in the second half to salvage an impressive 2-2 draw.

Despite DAZN cameras spotting Jubal giving the ref the written technical reservation, the team did not follow up on the complaint after the final whistle.

The result will therefore stand and the game will not be replayed.

Auxerre coach Christophe Pélissier told DAZN after the match: “The flag is raised [for a goal kick], he whistles.

“[The referee] tells me he whistled after.

“We won’t keep the reserve. I saw the referee at the end, we talked. We shouldn’t sum up the match with that.”

“But wonderful to be back to witness such a great performance and important win!”

Granovskaia started working for Chelsea under ex-owner Roman Abramovich in 2010 on transfer and business dealings.

By 2014, she was chief executive of the West London club and had a huge part in negotiating transfers.
