EVERY week Strictly sees another celebrity and their pro partner waltz off the show forever.

After doing the dreaded dance off, it is then up to the judges to decide which star will leaving the show for good.

Punam Krishan became the latest celebrity to leave Strictly, after finding herself in the dance off.

The TV doctor was given her marching orders alongside pro partner Gorka Marquez.

After her fate was declared by the judges, Punam said: “This is just one of those things that I have dreamt about for years and I think to have one of your dreams genuinely come true is just a surreal feeling. 

“Week after week it’s been incredible, I’ve made friends for life and everyone’s just been so kind, so thank you.” 

Gorka also heaped praise on his partner, telling her: “It’s been incredible, it’s been a fantastic six weeks. I’m very proud of what she has achieved. 

“She’s a GP and a mum, she had never danced before and I think she improved week by week.

“I think she is truly what the show is about, someone who doesn’t have experience in the performance world came here and learnt to dance.

“She wanted to do so well and worked so hard.” 

He also made a nod to their groundbreaking Bollywood performance from Movies Week, and said: “I feel very proud and very honoured that  we got to do a Bollywood dance, to represent your culture, show your culture to the world and open doors for so many people in your culture.” 

Puna then added: “Thank you. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for giving me the gift of dancing.

“I’ve never danced before, but you’ve definitely sparked so much dancing. 

“I want to learn more, and I definitely don’t think this will be the end of my journey dancing.”

The dance off

Puna and Gorka found themselves in the dance off against Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu during the sixth results show of the series.

This meant that both couples had to perform their routines again.

Punam and Gorka danced the Tango to Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics.

Shayne and Nancy then performed a Paso Doble to In The Hall of The Mountain King by Edvard Grieg.  

The judges then decided unanimously to save Shayne and Nancy.

Strictly is on BBC One every weekend on both Saturdays and Sundays.

However, the time the show airs tends to vary week to week.

Fans can watch the next episode on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 6.25pm on BBC One.

This will be followed by the result show on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at 7.20pm.

Unsure of what to do, the anonymous woman took to social media to share her confession, leaving many open-mouthed. 

Posting on Reddit, on the SexAddiction thread, the woman titled her post ‘Female sex addict’.

She then confessed: “I’m 90% sure I have a sex addiction. 

“I feel really isolated with it because I never really see women talking about this.

“The one person I opened up to about it in real life brushed it off and was kind of like “you’re just young and having fun” but I know it’s more than that.”

The woman explained that she is ashamed to admit, but sex is all she thinks about.

She continued: “Sex has completely taken over my life.

“It’s literally all I think about and has got to the point I’ll miss commitments to stay home and masturbate all day. 

“I feel a lot of shame surrounding the whole thing, I don’t even know why I’m posting this, I guess I’m just hoping someone will relate.”

Not only does she feel like a ‘freak’ but she is concerned that now, her sex addiction is affecting others too.

She added: “I feel like nobody in my life gets it and it makes me feel even more like a freak. 

“I’ve been involved in situations with multiple married men so it’s getting to the point it’s also affecting other people.”

As a result, she asked Reddit users for advice: “The things I get off to are also really messed up and I just don’t really know where to go from here.”

AMERICANA hero Chris Stapleton turned London’s cavernous O2 arena into a rip-roaring Nashville barn party on the final night of his sold out UK tour.

Armed with his trusty cowboy hat, trademark big beard and even bigger voice, he sang tales of love, heartache and good old fashioned booze-ups.

There were no gimmicks, just immaculate guitar work and that distinctive gravelly croon as he opened with White Horse, the rousing first single for latest album Higher.

A man of few words, Stapleton declared early on in his muffled southern drawl that there wouldn’t be much talking as he had a lot of music to get through.

And he dutifully worked his way through a stellar songbook that effortlessly switched between heart-rending ballads and meaty blues-rock riffs.

None were as heavy as his rocking homage to late American music legend Tom Petty in the form of cover I Should Have Known It, with its pulverising drums and thunderous guitar lines.

There were plenty of sweet moments in between the more muscular tracks as he traded lines and melodies with wife and muse, Morgane, who performs as part of his skilled band.

Tracks from Higher were received as well as previous set staples like Cold, Parachute and the song that started it all a decade ago, Traveller.

Mid-set solo acoustic renditions of Whiskey and You and Mountains of My Mind showcased the full range of Stapleton’s vocal talents, while recent single Think I’m In Love With You allowed Stapleton’s sexier side to shine with its slinky vocal hook.

During a rare anecdote, Stapleton explained how a British fan had told him he danced to debut album track More of You on his wedding day.

He proceeded to play the tender song in a wholesome tribute, leaving the thousands and thousands in attendance – many of which were dressed in cowboy hats and boots – hanging off the ballad’s every word.

Fan favourites Broken Halos and Tennessee Whiskey, another wedding song staple, sparked rousing singalongs late into the two-hour set.

To quote the great man’s best-loved song, this five star performance left everybody feeling as ‘warm as a glass of brandy’.
