Jake is a British actor and producer, best known for his role as Thomas Blancheford in the Disney+ series Renegade Nell (2024), which was axed after just one series.

He graduated from the prestigious Guildhall School for Music and Drama in London in 2022.

During his studies he honed his acting skills and participated in various productions, including Anna Karenina and Julius Caesar.

Ironman legend Mark Allen believes that the course record could be broken this year.

Allen said: “This year in particular, you have the fact that the race is two weeks later than normal. This time of year is a pivotal time of year in terms of temperature difference.

“Even a couple of weeks can make it a little bit cooler, a couple of weeks later can make it so that you’re further away from the windiest time of year.

“Generally earlier in October is more windy than later in October. The fastest time that I did in Kona was when the race was October 30th, this year it’s October 26th.

“That was probably the least windy year that I had. So all of that put together, I think that this year probably has one of the best chances of that record being broken.”

ANTHONY JOSHUA’S rematch with Daniel Dubois is at the risk of collapse as Eddie Hearn revealed a “concern” over the planned date.

AJ was dropped FOUR times on the way to a brutal fifth-round knockout defeat at Wembley in September.

And he was expected to rematch Dubois in a bid for revenge – already eyed for February in Saudi Arabia.

But his promoter Hearn revealed the quick five month turnaround looks to be too close – leaving the rematch facing the KO.

Hearn told Sky Sports: “Our concern at the moment is just timing.

“You’ve got a few little niggles, you get them looked at and then you can’t punch again for four, five weeks.

“If we’re going to fight him in February, we need to start camp in about three weeks’ time. It’s quite a fast turnaround.”

Hearn revealed May is their target date to return with Joshua’s heart set on a rematch with Dubois.

He said: “Ideally we’d like to return around May time. It does feel as though it’s coming on quite quickly.

“From a body perspective we could probably do with a little bit more time ideally. Sometimes it’s not ideal and you just go for it.

“But we just need to decide are we going to be ready. [Joshua] has told me categorically: ‘I want the rematch.’

“But it’s just a case of whether he’s going to be ready for February and that’s something they’re going to have to decide.

“It’s not ruled out. But we do appreciate it’s a fast turnaround.”

Tyson Fury, 36, rematches Oleksandr Usyk, 37, on December 21 following his loss in their May undisputed title decider.

But Usyk was forced to vacate the IBF belt to proceed with the return as Dubois inherited the belt after being elevated from interim champ.

And Hearn has also not ruled out Joshua waiting to fight Fury next opposed to Dubois.

He said to BBC Sport: “It would be frustrating if we made the Dubois rematch and Fury won.

“Then we’re sitting there going ‘hang on a minute, we’re fighting Dubois but we could have fought Fury in May for the biggest fight in boxing.’

“Win or lose, we can fight Fury next summer. But if he wins, AJ fights him for the world title.”

It was a big occasion for the Beckhams‘ with Inter Miami competing in the MLS Cup play-offs, having won the Eastern Conference.

Miami got off to a fast start as Luis Suarez scored in the second minute, and they went on to win the match 2-1 with another former Barcelona player Jordi Alba grabbing the winner.

Beckham, 49, was in a good mood even before kick-off and he planted a kiss on his daughter Harper, 13, who looked less than impressed.

Cruz, 19, was spotted back alongside his dad having watched Lionel Messi score a hat-trick for Inter Miami last week with his girlfriend Jackie Apostel.

Miami’s win over Atlanta means they need just one more victory to progress to the Eastern Conference semi-finals.

Eight teams qualified for the play-offs with Atlanta winning a wildcard match in order to take on Inter Miami in a best of three.

The next game will be hosted by Atlanta on November 2 and if the home team win a third match will be played – back at the Chase Stadium.

Inter Miami already have one foot in the semi-finals and will have to win that tie and the Eastern Conference final to qualify for the MLS Cup final.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun at The Pride of Britain Awards, Peter gushed about his six-month old.

Peter said: “She’s beautiful.

“She has honestly made us complete, she really has.”

Emily told us: “It’s the first time I’ve really left her at home…”

Peter chimed in: “It’s taken a lot to get her out,” as Emily continued: “I had a bit of a wobble, but we’re fine!”

When asked how they’ve been coping, Emily added: “It’s a juggle – but we’ve got helping hands [points at Junior and Princess].

Peter’s eldest, Junior, has followed his footsteps and has kick started his music career – and it sounds like Arabella could be in the same industry in the future.

Peter confessed: “She is dancing! She loves dancing at the minute.

“She could potentially become one of diversity…

“You never know. The next generation.”

The family made the rare red carpet appearance at the incredible event earlier this week.

Peter and Emily shared their happy news on Instagram when Arabella was born.

MILLIONS of social renters will be impacted by huge changes when the Chancellor delivers her Autumn Statment on Wednesday.

Rachel Reeves is set to announce plans for a new social housing rent settlement, resulting in rent increases above inflation over the next five years.

The government plans to cap social housing rents at CPI inflation plus 1% and will consult on this five-year rent settlement.

The consultation will also explore other options, such as a 10-year settlement.

Additionally, the Chancellor will reduce Right to Buy discounts, which allow tenants to buy local authority-owned homes at a discount.

This change aims to protect existing council housing stock.

This overhaul will allow councils to retain 100% of the money from property sales, helping them to build more social housing.

The moves are part of a housing package that includes £500 million in new funding for up to 5,000 new affordable social homes and £128 million to support delivering 33,000 other homes.

Ms Reeves said: “We need to fix the housing crisis in this country. It’s created a generation locked out of the property market, torn apart communities and put the brakes on economic growth.

“We are rebuilding Britain by ramping up housebuilding and delivering the 1.5million new homes we so badly need.”

Darren Baxter, principal policy adviser at Joseph Rowntree Foundation, added: “Investing in building social homes will make a real difference to the lives of people who are currently locked out of the economic security these homes could give them.

“It’s welcome to see that alongside this investment, the government plans to take steps to reduce the number of homes lost to the private sector through the Right to Buy discounts.

SOCIAL RENT SHAKE-UP

The outcome of the consultation on social housing rents could mean that millions of tenants face up to 10 years worth of inflation-busting rent hikes.

The previous Conservative government capped social rent hikes to 7% earlier this year.

However, Rachel Reeves plans to consult on a 5 to 10-year formula in October’s Autumn Statement that will increase annual rents in England by the CPI measure of inflation plus an additional 1%.

While housing associations are likely to welcome this move, it could worsen the cost of living for millions of tenants and potentially increase the government’s benefits bill. 

However, Polly Neate, chief executive of Shelter, says: “As inflation can spiral out of control very quickly, there needs to be mechanisms in place to protect tenants from extreme rent rises that put them at risk of becoming homeless.”

Most social housing tenants receive full housing benefits from the government, meaning taxpayers often fund any social rent increases.

However, around 30% of social tenants pay full rent and will be hit by future increases in full because they’re not eligible for support.

There are around four million households currently living in rented social housing.

That means 1.2million households will face future bill hikes if the new formula eventually comes into force.

However, the exact amount your rent will increase depends on your location, the size of your property, and the level of inflation.

RIGHT TO BUY SHAKE-UP

In the decade to 2022/23, only 94,000 new council houses were built.

However, over 212,000 were sold via right to buy, and another 58,000-plus were demolished.

To counteract the significant loss of housing stock, the government plans to substantially reduce the Right to Buy privileges for social tenants.

This could mean tenants must live in their homes for ten years – up from the current three – before being allowed to purchase.

For newly-built council homes, the option to buy could be scrapped altogether, preserving much-needed social housing stock.

The exact details of the Right to Buy overhaul will be confirmed when Rachel Reeves delivers her Autumn Statement on Wednesday, October 30.
