Shoppers race to grab Tesco’s GIANT cuddle cushions for Christmas – they’re great for keeping warm & are half price

She wrote: “Run to Tesco, the cuddle cushions are back and on clubcard too!”

“My boyfriend surprised me with one yesterday. The best thing ever!” she captioned the post.

In the clip, she headed to Tesco to show the pile of cushions available in store just in time for Christmas.

The plush cushions feature back support and two arms so that you can sit up in bed toasty, warm and comfortable.

The winter buy comes in two neutral colours – grey and beige so it will suit any decor in your room.

And the best part? While the cushion currently retails for £30 you can get it for more than half price at just £14 with the clubcard.

Chloe later revealed it was the ‘best thing ever’ and that it gave her the best night’s sleep.

Unfortunately, Tesco doesn’t sell homeware online so you’ll have to head to stores to snap the bargain up.

If you don’t have a store nearby, lots of shops are selling versions of the cushion too.

Dunelm currently has a cuddle cushion for just £25 while Matalan has one on sale for £17.60.

The clip has gone viral over on her TikTok account @chlobarnett0 with over 1.9 million views and 112k likes.

People were quick to comment on the post with many saying they were running to grab it for themselves.

One person wrote: “I’ve got one of these, best night’s sleep I’ve ever had.”

Another commented: “Omg you are the best I’ve been wanting one of these for ages I’m going after work.”

5 ways to keep your house warm in winter

Property expert Joshua Houston shared his tips.

1. Curtains

“Windows are a common place for the outside cold to get into your home, this is because of small gaps that can let in air so always close your curtains as soon as it gets dark,” he said.

This simple method gives you an extra layer of warmth as it can provide a kind of “insulation” between your window and curtain.

2. Rugs

“Your floor is another area of your home where heat can be lost and can make your home feel chilly,” he continued. “You might notice on cold days, that your floor is not nice to walk on due to it freezing your feet.

“Add rugs to areas that don’t already have a carpet, this provides a layer of insulation between your bare floor and the room above.”

3. Check your insulation

Check your pipes, loft space, crawlspaces and underneath floorboards.

“Loose-fill insulation is very good for this, and is a more affordable type of insulation, with a big bag being able to be picked up for around £30,” Joshua explained.

4. Keep your internal doors closed

“Household members often gather in one room in the evening, and this is usually either the kitchen or living room,” Joshua said.

“This means you only have to heat a small area of your home, and closing the doors keeps the heat in and the cold out.”

5. Block drafts

Don’t forget to check cat flaps, chimneys and letterboxes, as they can let in cold air if they aren’t secure.

“I got one the other day, honestly so comfy,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “I WANT ONE SO BAD THOUGH.”

“I got one the other day, BEST THING EVER,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Running!”

People gasp as woman shows off her HUGE baby bump and say it looks more like a four-bedroom apartment

THEY can come in all shapes and sizes.

But one woman’s baby bump has left people gasping, with some even comparing it to a four-bedroom apartment.

Juliet took to TikTok to share a video of herself in a pair of pyjamas, lifting up the top to show her stretched out stomach.

Despite the size of her mega bump, Juliet danced around in the video before breaking down in laughter.

In the caption, she added: “God has definitely done it again.

“The journey was not an easy one, but I’m grateful to God for making me a mother of five lovely kids.”

But people were quick to admit they’d been left shell shocked by the video.

“Four bedroom flat!” one wrote.

“One of the things that makes me respect women,” another added.

“How will that stomach go back to normal?” a third wondered.

As someone else hilariously questioned: “Who did this to you?”

“That isn’t a baby bump – it’s a baby boulder!” another gasped.

“And she’s got no stretch marks, amazing!” someone else pointed out.

“TBH this looks scary… God bless every responsible woman out there,” another said.

While someone else insisted it wasn’t “a real baby bump”, despite it clearly being authentic.

“I don’t believe that this is real,” another agreed.

“I would be on bed rest my whole pregnancy,” someone else admitted, adding: “Safe delivery Mummy!”

“I wonder how many pillows this brave woman needs in bed!” another wrote.

What is the 'baby bump theory'?

Can the gender of an unborn baby really be determined by the bump?

Popular theory suggests a baby’s gender can be revealed by the shape of the mother’s bump.

For years, it has been claimed that the way a woman carries their unborn child can predict whether it is a girl or a boy.

If followed, the theory suggests the baby will be a boy if the bump is high and at the front. A lower, more spread out bump is said to indicate a girl.

But this really is just an old wives’ tale.

In reality, the only way of finding out the sex of an unborn baby is through medical screening.

This can be done several ways – via an ultrasound, a chromosomal blood test or through a CVS/ amniocentesis.

“That’s an adult in there,” someone else marvelled.

“Is she 3 years pregnant?” another wondered.

“Holy cow how many are in there? A whole tribe!” someone else said.

In fact, there were three babies in there, with Juliet giving birth to her triplets – Clinton, Cedric and Calvin – earlier this month.

But there were some people in the comments section who thought Juliet should have kept the video to herself.

“Why do people put such pictures on social media?” one asked.

“Are these not private moments shared with your family?”

As someone else said: “Some things should remain personal!!”

“It is a blessing, but it is not wise to expose like that,” a third agreed.

Stunning English subtropical gardens with own microclimate that ‘feels like abroad’ – and are right by a famous beach

The Jurassic Coast village is steeped in history, with Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens being one of its main attractions.

Established in 1765, when the 1st Countess of Ilchester built the castle on the site overlooking Lyme Bay, the gardens are home to thousands of different plant species.

Several generations of the family tended to the garden over the last few hundred years, expanding its growing collection of plant life.

Nowadays, Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens is home to over 6,000 species of plants from around the world.

Because of its coastal location, which benefits from mild winters and cooler summers, several species of plants can thrive in the Victorian gardens.

Spread over 30 acres, visitors can walk along winding paths through lush landscapes, featuring stunning displays of camellias, magnolias, and rhododendrons.

One of its rarest plants is the Puya, native to Chile, the plant has ferocious spines that have been known to trap sheep, birds and small animals.

The Puya only flowers once every 10 years, with its last blooming taking place in 2023.

Other features in Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens include a Victorian Walled Garden and a children’s play area.

There’s also a cafe with a wooden veranda and courtyard that’s surrounded by plants.

Light snacks, savoury pastries, sandwiches, cakes and a range of hot and cold drinks are served at the cafe.

Entry into the gardens costs £12.95 for a full-paying adult and £6.95 for kids.

The Dorset-based gardens has a 4.5/5 star rating from over 1,000 reviews on TripAdvisor, with one person writing: “Who needs to go abroad you have this”.

Another person added: “It’s such a beautiful place, and it really does feel like you’re abroad somewhere”.

A third person wrote: “We visited the garden on a lovely sunny day and it was like stepping into a different country”.

Set on Dorset‘s Jurassic Coast, there are plenty of other attractions in the area, including Chesil Beach.

Chesil Beach is the longest beach in the country, running from the Isle of Portland to West Bay.

The Dorset beach was the backdrop for Ian McEwan’s acclaimed novel On Chesil Beach.

Despite not having any sand, the shingle beach still draws in holidaymakers from across the UK thanks to its stunning views.

Visitors can marvel at the UK coastline from one of the many beachfront pubs and cafes.

Located on the Isle of Portland, The Cove House Inn is from the 18th- century and provides diners with sweeping over Portland.

The small pub serves a range of traditional grub like fish pies, scampi and fish and chips, with mains starting from £12.

Chesil Beach is also backed by Fleet Lagoon – a large saline lake, which is one of the last undisturbed brackish lagoons left in the world.

Designated a Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Fleet Lagoon is an important habitat for many different species of wildlife, including the world’s only managed colony of nesting mute swans.
