ITV previously cancelled the popular format earlier this year in a move which shocked fans.
Warwick Davis has begged ITV chiefs to bring back his gameshow[/caption]
Tenable was a huge success for ITV over seven series on air[/caption]
The actor admitted that fronting the show was one of his favourite things to do[/caption]
Warwick, 54, is mostly known for his roles in major blockbuster films such as the Harry Potter and Star Wars franchises.
The movie star was left absolutely devastated by the decision as he loved hosting the programme.
He saw how upset the fans were over the decision, and he thinks there might be scope for a potential revival.
Warwick told The Daily Star: “Presenting Tenable was one of my favourite things to do.
“I loved the show. People tell me they still watch old episodes now and enjoy it.
“I feel like I should video people on my phone when they say, ‘We miss Tenable’ and then send them to ITV!”
Warwick knows that he would need to make the commercial case to the higher ups at the channel.
He admits that a potential revival would hinge on getting high ratings and bringing in a large profit.
The actor added: “The landscape of television has changed immensely with all the streaming services now.
“Unless you can pull in the advertisers, you can’t get a show on.
“One day it may become apparent that Tenable is viable once again. Maybe we could even do a Tenable film one day!”
Over its eight-year run, Tenable ran for over 300 episodes across seven series.
Teams of five contestants would attempt to win up to £125,000.

His wife Kimberly, 42, later took to Instagram to share her support for the actor.
She reposted an Instagram upload about songbirds, which read: “Northern cardinals, the ‘romantic’ birds that mate for life, travel together, sing before nesting and feed each other seed beak-to-beak during courtship.”
Kimberly added: “Hi baby. @vanderjames.”
In a statement to People Magazine, James said: “I have colorectal cancer.
“I’ve been privately dealing with this diagnosis and have been taking steps to resolve it, with the support of my incredible family.
“There’s reason for optimism, and I’m feeling good.”
Colorectal cancer develops in the tissues of the colon or rectum, which are both part of the large intestine and the digestive system.
James has continued to work despite his diagnosis, appearing in a recent episode of Walker and a new film for Tubi called Sidelined: The QB and Me, which will be released on November 29.
He is also prioritising time with his large family, having had six children with Kimberly.
James shot to fame in the 90s in teen drama Dawson’s Creek, playing main character Dawson Leery.
1 day agoNewsComments Off on Paddington In Peru review: By the end of this feel-good film, it’s hard not to feel all is okay with the world
Paddington In Peru
(PG) 106 minutes
★★★★☆
AT the world premiere of Paddington in Peru, new director Dougal Wilson joked that only a fool would try to step into the shoes of his predecessor Paul King.
Olivia Colman plays a ‘suspicious’ singing Reverend Mother[/caption]
But with Ben Whishaw back as the voice of our accident prone bear and Olivia Colman playing a “suspicious” singing Reverend Mother this was never going to be a calamity.
This film sticks to the winning formula pratfalls, heart warming family values and first class actors hamming it up as villains.
As the title suggests, Paddington returns to his homeland in this story.
The Reverend Mother has told him that his Aunt Lucy is “acting strangely” and the ever dutiful bear goes to visit her.
The Brown family join him for a holiday, with Mrs Brown desperate to reconnect with her teenage children.
But as soon as they arrive at the Retirement Home For Bears run by Colman’s nun it is clear that something is amis.
I don’t think it’s a marmalade dropper to reveal that the Oscar winning actress’s character isn’t as saintly as she first appears.
More obviously a wrong ‘un is Antonio Banderas’s Hunter Cabot, who is obsessed with finding El Dorado’s gold.
He’s haunted by an array of failed ancestors that allow Banderas to have a lot of fun.
But while there is a lot of debate about which of the first two movies is the best, the third one isn’t going to challenge for supremacy.
There’s too much Banderas and not enough Colman and as a result the film gets almost as lost as the Browns do in the jungle.
The comedy set pieces are also not as imaginative as before, although first time movie director Wilson does bring some nice visual tricks to proceedings.
1 day agoNewsComments Off on I flew to Lapland just for the day with my son – and still fit in Santa meets, husky rides and snowmobiles
A MUM has revealed how she flew to Lapland just for the day – and still managed to fit in husky rides and a Santa meet.
Donna Rudd, 46, booked the trip with her youngest son Leo, 13.
A mum has revealed how she visited Lapland just for the day[/caption]
Expect a busy day with snowballing, reindeer rides and husky trips[/caption]
They even managed to meet Santa[/caption]
The mum-of-four surprised Leo with the trip the night before they flew and the pair left from Bristol Airport at 7am along with Donna’s sister.
Donna, from Minehead said: “I bought him a puzzle and said Father Christmas would help him with it in the North Pole.
“It was so nice on the airplane. The atmosphere was so good.
“Everyone was wearing Christmas jumpers.”
They arrived at Kittilä International Airport at around 11am and got to Lapland at around 1.30pm.
After spending just four-and-a-half hours there they got back on a bus at 6pm and got a flight back at 8pm.
Despite this, they managed to fit in everything from husky and reindeer rides to Father Christmas meets, as well as sledging and snowball fights,
Donna said: “We packed in a lot of stuff. We went sledging, had snow ball fights.
“We did husky and reindeer rides. I went on a snowmobile – it had always been a dream of mine.”
Donna managed to sneakily give the elves a letter of Leo’s wishes to give to Father Christmas before he met him.
She said: “Father Christmas mentioned his name. He looked at me in shock. He was so happy.”
Donna even managed to get in a bit of souvenir shopping before they jumped back on the coach back to the airport.
She said: “It was a lot of fun. It’s such a pretty place. It’s magical.
“I don’t know how we fitted it all in.”
It wasn’t a cheap Lapland day trip – the all inclusive TUI trip cost £600 per person – but Donna says it was “worth it”.
She said: “It’s not cheap for a day. It was so worth it.
The Sun’s Louise Robert recently visited Lapland – here’s what she thought.
“Lapland was top of my 40th bucket birthday list.
“Heading to Tonttula Village, it’s is an absolute must for anyone visiting with little ones as you can make Christmas decorations at Elf school, bake gingerbread biscuits and listen to folk tales from the Wise Elf while crafting paper snowflakes.
“And that’s before we got stuck into the outdoor activities.
“We did everything petting Santa’s reindeers, tobogganing and snow tubing, plus there are private meetings with Father Christmas in his wood cabin.
“Make sure to try a Glogi while you’re here too – it’s an amazing Finnish mulled wine.”
If you can’t quite stretch to a trip to the real Lapland, there is also the hugely popular Lapland UK experience.
She also explained that she doesn’t think her daughter “fully understands” that she will be a big sister[/caption]
Chloe recently showed fans her first baby scan[/caption]
But now, Chloe, who works as a bakery manager at the family’s Radford Pie Company, has revealed all on experiencing morning sickness with her second pregnancy.
Posting on social media last night, on her Instagram stories, Chloe encouraged fans to ask her questions for a ‘Sunday catch up’.
Following this, one fan questioned: “How are you feeling with this pregnancy? My second was awful”.
In response, Chloe shared a picture of her laying on the sofa asleep, and another of her in bed with her eyes shut, sipping a bottle of water.
Alongside sick emojis, Chloe confirmed: “This was me the majority of my first trimester.”
She then explained: “Sooo much worse second time around after just trying to make it through every day.”
Despite this, the mum-of-one, who recently found out that she is six weeks along, added: “Feel much better now though.”
Another fan then asked Chloe: “Is Mila excited to be a big sister?”
To this, Chloe admitted: “I don’t think she fully understands yet.
“I say to her ‘is there a baby in mummy’s tummy?’ and she says ‘yeah baby in my tummy too’.”
As a result, she paid to go private to get an early scan, as she told fans: “We are just getting ready to go for our first scan. It feels so weird saying that.
“Fingers crossed everything is ok. It’s supposed to be really exciting, but I just feel a lot more anxious and on edge this time for some reason.”
Who's who in the Radford family?
The Radfords are Britain's biggest family with 22 children.
Here are the kids from eldest to youngest include:
Moments later, Chloe returned home from the hospital and held up her baby scan, as she beamed: “So there’s our little baby. You really can’t see much because we’re only six weeks and one day, estimated.
“Everything went well. I didn’t actually film when we got there because I was just so nervous and anxious and I wanted to just take it all in.
“So yeah, she said everything is as it should be – measuring at six weeks and one day.
How does family-of-22 the Radfords afford to live?
AS Britain’s biggest family, it may come as no surprise that Sue and Noel Radford must have some hefty bills.
Between them, they have a whopping 22 children and seven dogs, which often has some people wonder how they manage their money.
The Radfords support themselves with the proceeds of Noel’s bakery, The Radford Pie Company, which is located near their home.
On their website, it says: “We have owned our own lovely bakery since 1999 which is how we manage to provide for (and feed) our huge and expanding family as well as for the local people of Heysham and Morecambe.”
The family expanded their business to cater to online orders placed across the UK.
The business is a family affair, with Noel at the helm, and some of their children helping out.
The older kids, who are working at least part-time, don’t get a free ride as they’re made to pay a small amount of rent to their parents.
“Us older ones do pay a little bit of board. Granted it’s not a lot but I’m also trying to save up for my own house at the moment.” their daughter Chloe said in a video on the YouTube channel.
Sue added: “We’ve always said if you want to buy somewhere, renting is a bit of dead money, so we’d rather you saved that money up and stayed at home a bit longer.
“I also do believe they should pay board if they are earning. We’ve always been brought up by our parents that we had to pay board.”
Noel and Sue famously don’t rely on benefits for their bumper brood and live off their pie shop for income.
They also revealed they make money from brand partnerships on social media.
The Radford family stars in their own reality TV show 22 Kids and Counting – which has run for four series.
Brand expert Andy Barr believes Noel and Sue have been paid less than £10,000 for each show.
He told the Daily Mail: “The typical fee per episode is going to be in the thousands rather than the tens or hundreds of thousands that people often think is the case with TV shows of this nature.
“If they continue to get commissioned for a fourth or fifth season, then they are going to be able to command a higher fee.”
He estimates that the Radfords make £ 5,000 an episode.
“We’re going back again in two weeks, just because she said everything’s really small at the moment, so she likes to bring people back in in about two weeks and re-scan, just so you can see a little bit more.
“We saw the little heartbeat flickering. She said a strong heartbeat, so yeah, couldn’t have asked for it to go better.”
Despite her initial nerves, Chloe explained that she is really ‘happy’ and ‘excited’ to become a mother again.
Who are Sue and Noel's grandkids?
Daisy Mae – 12 years old
Ayprill Louise – 9 years old
Leo Thomas – 8 years old
Maisie-Paige – 7 years old
Jacob Colin – 5 years old
Ophelia Jo – 4 years old
Oaklyn Nicholas – 3 years old
Chester Bleu – 2 years old
Mila Eloise – 2 years old
Elodie Jade – 1 year old
Ronnie Hudson – 0 years old (newborn)
In addition to this, Sue and Noel have four step-grandchildren.
She added: “It actually feels crazy to think that we’re on this journey again, but really, really excited, really happy. Can’t wait now.
“Baby is so small. But it just makes you feel a bit reassured, I think, when you go for one of these scans, these early ones.
“Obviously it is still early days, but yeah, I feel very happy.”
Chloe and Jack welcomed their first daughter Mila on July 23, 2022, after beginning their relationship in 2021.

A PENSIONER suffering with pneumonia took to sleeping in his dressing gown on a hospital floor as he waited 12 hours for a bed.
Martin Wakely’s wife described his ordeal as “disgusting” and added he felt he had no choice but to lie down outside an x-ray room at the Medway Maritime Hospital in Kent.
Martin Wakely’s wife Tracy described his ordeal as ‘disgusting’[/caption]
The pensioner slept on the floor of a hospital after it became too uncomfortable on plastic chairs[/caption]
She added he resorted to lying down on the floor after it became too painful for him to carry on sitting on a plastic chair.
The Medway NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital, has apologised but said it was continuing to see a high number of patients who needed admitting for treatment.
It added the staff were working to provide the best possible care during a “particularly busy time”.
Martin’s wait for a bed came during a 51-hour visit to the hospital where the 75-year-old from Bobbing, near Sittingbourne, was treated for pneumonia in one of his lungs.
His wife Tracy, with the couple having been married for 23 years, blasted the situation in the department.
The latest NHS figures show that around seven in 100 patients have to wait more than 12 hours for a bed.
Tracy, who is a former council property inspector, compared the level of car Martin had received to that of a “third world country”.
She called for an ambulance on October 27 at 11am after her husband had been struggling to breathe.
They arrived at the hospital at midday and the 63-year-old told the paramedics that the grandad-of-four couldn’t sit down for long periods due to his Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Due to his condition, Martin is cared for by Tracy and he is virtually bedbound.
Despite Tracy telling the paramedics about his health, they were sent to the waiting room in A&E which only provided chairs.
Some blood tests were taken at 1pm and while they waited for the results, Martin struggled to sit and attempted to lie across the plastic chairs when his back pain became too much.
At around 6pm a nurse told Martin he would have to sit up as the seats were needed, according to Tracy.
She also asked how much longer it would be before the results were back but was told he had been wrongfully discharged.
Tracy told KentOnline: “If I hadn’t been there to ask about it, like some of the other patients who were alone, Martin still might be waiting there now.
“But we were promised to see the next doctor available.”
About an hour later they were seen by a doctor who prescribed antibiotics for Martin’s pneumonia and put him on a nebuliser to help him breathe as he sat inside a cubicle.
He needed an x-ray though and they both returned to the A&E waiting room.

WAITING FOR BED
At around 8.30pm Tracy once again asked for a trolley as she said Martin was crying due to the back pain but was told they would have to wait for one to become available.
Other patients who were also waiting offered their seats so he could lie down and gave him their coats for comfort, Tracy said.
Then at about 11.30pm, Martin couldn’t stand the pain any more and opted to lie on the floor.
Tracey took him to a quiet spot outside x-ray and put his dressing gown down to make him comfortable.
A nurse arrived 30 minutes later saying she now had a trolley available.
After struggling to get her husband up off the floor, Tracy wheeled him to the supposed trolley but found a patient was still on it.
Martin eventually got a bed in the majors’ department at 12.30am but was still in a corridor.
At around 11am on October 29, nearly 48 hours after he arrived at the hospital, Martin told his wife he wanted to go home.
Nurses said they needed the blood results before he could leave.
‘FUMING’
By 3pm Martin was now “fuming,” according to Tracy, and discharged himself.
Tracey said: “They said ‘you’ll be back in a couple of days’ but Martin said ‘I won’t, I’ll be dead first’.
“It was heartbreaking seeing someone I love put through it.
“It’s disgusting that he has worked all his life, paid all his taxes, done everything right and he ends up on the floor with the rubbish.
“I’ve got nothing against the people who were there because they can only work with what they’ve got but the whole thing is stretched too far.
“I knew the NHS was in a state but until you’re actually in that situation or you’re there in amongst it you don’t realise how bad it is.”
Figures from NHS England show that of the 8,221 patients who visited Medway Maritime Hospital’s A&E department in September, 636 waited for a bed for more than 12 hours – that’s more than 7 per cent.
Some 973 patients – more than one in 10 – waited more than four hours for a bed.
Tracy said the conditions at the hospital were poor, saying there was no privacy and as he was in a corridor there was nowhere for him to wash or get changed.
She also said there were people constantly passing by, the lights were on and it was very noisy.
I knew the NHS was in a state but until you’re actually in that situation or you’re there in amongst it you don’t realise how bad it is
Tracy Wakely
Tracy added a man whose head was bleeding had been there “long before us”.
She said: “It’s like what you imagine a hospital in a third-world country would be like. It is disgusting.”
Tracy said they would be making a formal complaint to the hospital.
Sarah Vaux, Interim Chief Nursing Officer for Medway NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are extremely sorry for Mr Wakely’s experience and for the distress caused to him and his family.
“As soon as staff were aware Mr Wakely was lying on the floor he was moved on to a trolley for his comfort.
“Our hospital is very busy as we continue to see a high number of patients in our Emergency Department who need admitting for treatment.
“We are sorry that this means some patients wait longer than we would like and that at times patients may have to be moved to an alternative and safe location where we have a range of measures in place to support them.
“Our staff are working tirelessly to provide the best possible care for patients at all times.
“We encourage patients who have any concerns about their care to contact us directly so that we can address and learn from the issues raised.”

A VOLCANIC eruption in Indonesia has spewed a fiery column of lava, killing 10 people.
The eruption at Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki around midnight spewed thick brownish ash as high as 2,000 meters (6,500 feet) into the air.
Indonesia’s Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) rescuers search for victims of the Lewotobi Laki-Laki volcano eruption on Flores Island[/caption]
Several villages and buildings were destroyed after Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki erupted on Flores Island, Indonesia[/caption]
Hot ashes hit several villages, burning down houses including a convent of Catholic nuns.
Images shared by authorities showed the evening sky over the volcano turned red due to the eruption, while footage showed some wooden houses on fire and mask-wearing residents being evacuated.
National Disaster Management Agency spokesperson Abdul Muhari said rescuers were still searching for more bodies buried under collapsed houses.
Muhari added all the bodies, including a child, were found with a 2.4 mile radius of the crater.
Agusta Palma, the head of Saint Gabriel Foundation which oversees convents on the island said a nun in Hokeng village died and another was missing.
She added: “Our nuns ran out in panic under a rain of volcanic ash in the darkness.”
Hadi Wijaya, a spokesperson for The Center of Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG), said: “After the eruption, there was power outage and then it was raining and big lightning which caused panic among residents.
The PVMBG had raised the status of the volcano to the highest alert level.
The agency said a four miles radius from the crater was cleared.
As of Monday afternoon at least 10 people had died, said local official Heronimus Lamawuran, adding the eruption had affected seven villages.
He said: “We have started evacuating residents since this morning to other villages located around 13 miles from the crater.”
The local government has declared a state of emergency for the next 58 days, Abdul said, meaning the central government could help provide aid to the 10,000 affected residents.
Authorities are still gathering data on the number of evacuees.
The nearest airport, located in the town of Maumere, had been temporarily closed.
Indonesia sits on the “Pacific Ring of Fire”, an area of high seismic activity atop multiple tectonic plates.
This eruption follows a series of eruptions. In May, a volcano on the island of Halmahera, Mount Ibu, caused evacuation from seven villages.
North Sulawesi’s Ruang volcano also erupted in May and prompted authorities to evacuate more than 12,000 people.
Flash floods and cold lava flow from Mount Marapi in West Sumatra province in May killed more than 60 people.

A MANCHESTER UNITED fan channel host was allegedly racially abused after yesterday’s match against Chelsea.
FlexUtd was hosting his show on United View TV in his usual fashion following the 1-1 draw.
He was stood outside Old Trafford sharing his post-match thoughts when his show was interrupted by a female Man Utd fan.
Flex tried to resume his show after giving a shout out to one of her friends, before she turned around and appeared to racially abuse him.
Flex was initially lost for words before reacting saying: “Woah that was crazy. She’s lucky I don’t.
“That was fully crazy. This is fully mad. I can’t believe what just happened.
“She’s just walking away casually, she shouldn’t get to walk away casually like that.
“Someone needs to tell her you can’t do that. Seriously, I can’t believe it.
“You lot don’t see me speechless but I can’t believe it. Im taking that in, I’m fully angry. She needs to be told ‘who the f*** are you, what is this?'”
Flex later took to social media sharing a photo of the woman’s face, and asked X to do its thing and find the individual.
He also told SunSport: “I was shocked and disgusted with that I’d heard. Unfortunately it’s the reality for many black people in various walks of life in our society.
“It was heartwarming to see the support both online and at the stadium condemning what had happened.
“This behaviour must face consequences, it has been and always will be unacceptable.”
SunSport has reached out to the woman in question for comment.
