If you are thinking of visiting Bali, the best time of year to go there is between the months of May and August.

This is because the weather is more settled and the heat is more bearable at this time of year.

Although August is the coolest month of the year, holiday-goers need not worry about missing out on sun.

Temperatures still can peak at a maximum of 29C and have an average low of 24C.

Travellers wanting to hit the dry season on the famous Indonesian island will be happy to know that there are seven months of the year when there is no rain.

Cheapest time to visit Bali

If you’re thinking of doing Bali on a budget, the best time to go is to avoid peak season.

More expensive times to go there are June to August and late December to early January.

Holidaymakers are advised to travel during low season, for a more affordable vacation.

Visiting Bali in February, March, September, October, November and early December can save travellers a lot of money.

This is because the price of flights and accommodations during these months can be cheaper.

A MAN in his 40s has been killed in a hit and run with cops launching a hunt for the driver who fled from the scene.

Emergency services scrambled to Gleadless Road in Sheffield, at around 8.30pm yesterday and found the man.

Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers believe a dark coloured Volkswagen was involved and are urgently probing into this.

Several police cars could be seen at the scene of the incident, and blue and white police tape extended across the road while emergency services carried out their work.

An ambulance was also seen at the location.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, may have footage of the collision or cars acting suspiciously in the area at the time, or information about the those and the vehicle involved.

“We’re also asking our communities to support us and contact our control room immediately if you see a damaged car in your area.

“Road closures are currently in place on Gleadless Road and Ridgeway Road and trams are suspended.

“Please avoid the area.
