‘They’ve gone rogue!’ fume Strictly fans as they slam leaderboard results and the judges for ‘overscoring’ TWO couples

STRICTLY Come Dancing judges have come under fire this weekend after two dances have been deemed to be over-scored.

Week five of the dance competition saw the 12 remaining celebrities deliver their dance routines in a bid to take home the Glitterball trophy.

The judges came under fire in week five

Now fans believe judges have ‘overstepped’ the mark with fans up in arms at last night’s leaderboard.

EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick and his dance pro partner Michelle Tsiakkas took top place on this week’s board after wowing the judges with a ‘near-perfect’ Paso Doble.

The duo danced to Malagueña by Ernesto Lecuona in matching monochrome outfits and were praised for their “paso-bleeding-tastic” performance by judge Craig Revel Horwood.

Judge Moti Mabuse then said: “This is how a Paso Doble works.”.

“All that intention, all that intensity, leading, shaping, being alive with your dance partner – brilliant!”

However, fans weren’t sure, with many taking to X, formerly Twitter, to express their dance dismay.

One said: “Challenge for the judges next week… stop over marking Jamie, it’s coming across like judges favourite, his footwork isn’t perfect yet is never critiqued on it, yet others are marked down for it, that was never a 10, it was an 8 max a 9.”

Another fumed: “It’s coming across fixed for Jamie this year, I like him but I feel we’re being manipulated into thinking he’s a better dancer than he actually is.”

Another dance duo in the scoreboard firing line were Wynne Evans and partner Katya Jones.

No stranger to controversy, the pair danced the quickstep to Mr Blue Sky by Electric Light Orchestra this week before judges gave their views.

After scoring 33 from the panel fans were left raging, with one adding a comment alongside a screenshot of the scores that said: “I want them to defend this score in a court of law. #scd #strictly.”

Another replied with: “The most bonkers score I’ve ever seen #Strictly.”

A fan of the show said: “Disappointed with Wynne on #Strictly tonight! Am I the only one who saw him stumble at one point? And he still scores 9’s! How???”

One fan headed online to comment: “I honestly think this season has had the ROGUEST scoring and tbh all the men (Wynne, Jamie, Chris etc.) have been overmarked and all the women (Sarah, Punam etc.) have been undermarked.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen more inconsistent and unfair scoring!”

Another fumed: “Wynne and Jamie both getting 9’s?? what is up with the scoring this week!”

Dead body is flung from hearse onto road after ‘vehicle’s lock failed’ in Poland as funeral home is forced to apologise

A POLISH funeral home was forced to apologise after a dead body tumbled out from a hearse onto the road in a shocking accident.

Hades Funeral Service was moving the body in Stalowa Wola, southeastern Poland when the vehicle’s electric lock failed, causing the body to fall out unexpectedly.

Polish media reported that a man was driving down a street on Friday when he first stumbled upon the body.

And for a moment he feared that he had hit the person.

Local media published an image of the corpse lying on a white-striped pedestrian crossing where it tumbled out of the hearse.

The funeral house has now issued a statement blaming the technical failure of the hearse.

It said in the statement: “It is with deep regret that we inform you that as a result of an unexpected technical failure of the electric tailgate lock in the hearse, during the transport of the body of the deceased, an unfortunate event occurred which does not reflect the high standards of our company.

“We admit our mistake and take full responsibility for what happened.

“Our deep empathy towards the families of the deceased, and the respect we always show to the deceased.

“We will do everything we can to ensure that this type of incident does not happen again in the future.”

It apologised to all those who were disappointed and upset by this event.

The company also said that an experienced employee was driving the van.

In 2019, Debbie Swales’ life became a “living hell” after her late husband Gavin’s casket smashed open as it was being lowered into his grave.

The pallbearers responsible then fled the scene leaving the couple’s distraught children to jump into the plot in an attempt to cover his body.

Recalling the harrowing moment at Newcastle’s West Road Cemetery, Debbie, 52, told ChronicleLive: “I just burst into tears. The lid smashed open and the kids jumped in [to his grave]. When lifting the coffin out it just fell to bits.

“We paid extra for a solid oak coffin with strong gold handles. We found out after that it was a replica MDF coffin that just shattered when it was dropped.

“Imagine that happening to your loved one. It is not private, 400 to 500 people were able to see him laid there.”

Heartbroken Debbie said she was forced to hold a second funeral for Gavin.

But she says funeral director Clark Pearson refused to accept the blame following the family’s horrific ordeal in November 2015.

She said: “It is not just the fact they dropped him. Of course, it was an accident. But who would run away? You would front up to what happened and not leave the family to jump into the grave.

“We have been treated dreadfully ever since. I recall standing there and I cried and cried.”

Liam Payne’s body could take weeks to be returned to grieving family after his death as cops await result of key tests

LIAM Payne’s body could take weeks to be returned to his grieving family and be laid to rest in the UK, it has been claimed.

The One Direction star, 31, tragically fell to his death from the third floor of his hotel in Buenos Aires on Wednesday.

Liam’s devastated dad has been reportedly trying to get his son’s body back home in the UK as soon as possible.

But sources close to the investigation reportedly told Argentine newspaper Clarín that the singer’s body will remain in the country “between 10 and 15 days” as cops are still waiting for key test results.

Sources from the British Embassy told the outlet: “We are supporting Liam Payne’s family and are in contact with local authorities.”

Prosecutor Marcelo Roma is awaiting the results of the additional toxicological tests after receiving the autopsy’s preliminary results.

The musician was suspected of being drugged and drunk, based on the testimony of people who saw him at the hotel and the evidence the police gathered.

To that end, the prosecutor asked that histopathological, biochemical, and toxicological studies be conducted, which were also completed during the autopsy.

The results can take 10 to 15 days, so Liam’s body is expected to be available to his relatives after the final autopsy results are received.

Liam’s loved ones made a desperate dash to South America late on Wednesday night just hours after learning the heartbreaking news.

Footage taken outside the Casa Sur hotel on Friday showed a sombre Geoff Payne bending down to read messages written to his son.

The distraught, bleary-eyed dad waved to Liam’s fans as he took in the touching display.

Dressed in a dark suit with his hands clasped in front of him, Geoff was shielded by police and security from dozens of fans and reporters.

It comes as…

Geoff Payne went into the Forensic Medical Corps judicial mortuary in Balvanera at around 3pm on Friday to identify his son’s body, Clarin reports.

Geoff is said to have asked permission to enter Liam’s room at the Hotel CasaSur Palermo to remove his son’s belongings.

Champagne, prescription drugs, white powder and foil wraps were all found in Liam’s trashed hotel room after the fatal fall at around 5pm (9pm UK time).

Fellow hotel guests revealed the star had been acting in a “disturbing” manner shortly before his fall, with Liam admitting to one woman: “I used to be in a boy band – that’s why I’m so f**ked up.”
