CNN crew forced to run for cover as Iranian missiles land meters away

This is the terrifying moment a CNN crew rushed for shelter after an Iranian missile landed near them.

Dozens of missiles were fired towards Jerusalem and Israel after an earlier warning from the White House that an attack on Israel was ‘imminent’.

The CNN crew was reporting from Tel Aviv when the reporter was heard saying, ‘Oh Jesus. Oh God. Guys, we have to get off the roof.’

Around 10 million people, the whole population of Israel, have been told to hideas the air defence systems continue to intercept strikes.

A statement from Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said: ‘In response to the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and Martyr Nilfroshan, we targeted the heart of the occupied territories.’

Iran also warned that if Israel reacts to its operations, it will face ‘crushing attacks’.

The US – which is an ally of Israel and has committed to a $8.7 billion military aid package – said it is actively supporting preparations to defend it against threats from Iran.
