Rapper Emtee, whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu, is proving that no one can bring him down as he has released the cover art image for his highly anticipated 4th studio album, D.I.Y 3
EMTEE SHARES HIS ALBUM COVER IMAGE
Emtee is finally ready to give his fans what they want with his upcoming album D.I.Y 3.
The rapper has shared a stunning album cover on Instagram, featuring a captivating photo of himself and his sons. He included the album’s release date and the cover image to generate buzz and excitement for the album.
“The wait is over! My fourth studio album, DIY 3, arrives Oct 31st!”
EMTEE CALLS OUT HIS STABLE FOR DELAYING ALBUM RELEASE
Yesterday, Emtee expressed his frustration and criticised his record label, Empire Records, claiming that they had been holding up the release of his album.
He mentioned that whenever he asked about the release of his album, he never received a response.
“Every day, I ask one question, ‘When is my album dropping?’, no answer. Just some excuse from people I thought were genuine. “I was never a lazy artist. I just need a team that won’t steal from me.”
“I’ve been signed to Empire for a whole year now, and I can’t recall a single thing they’ve done for me. I organise my own shows, and when people steal from me, they laugh and say ‘he lost it all.’ No, you stole from me,” he wrote.
‘AMBITIOUZ WAS BETTER’
Emtee compared Empire with his previous label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, saying Ambitiouz was better.
“This is the worst time of my life. I can’t post anything without fans asking about the album. Ambitiouz was tough, but at least they didn’t leave me waiting for a whole year without caring.”
Emtee has become one of South Africa’s most sought-after hip-hop artists. He rose to prominence with his hit song “Roll Up,” released in 2015, shortly after joining Ambitiouz Entertainment.
His first album, “Avery,” was released the same year.
