Emmerdale actress Daisy Campbell has secured a new ITV role just days after her exit from the soap was announced.
The Amelia Spencer actress, 21, has been part of the Dales soap since 2011 and has been involved in a number of high-profile storylines.
From becoming a teenage mum when she fell pregnant with Samson Dingle’s (Sam Hall) baby to her much-loved dad Dan (Liam Fox) being imprisoned for accidentally killing her stalker with one punch, she’s certainly seen a lot of drama during her stint.
That’s without mentioning the dangerous relationship with abusive Tom King (James Chase), with a number of residents currently trying to break through to her.
In October, she confirmed to The Mirror that it ‘wasn’t [her] choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first.’
‘Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known. I’ve spent the whole of my childhood growing up in the soap and it felt daunting.’

She went on to explain that the character’s axing made sense given her family had all left the show, and Samson was behind bars. Amelia effectively has no more ties to the village.
It’s expected that her final episodes will air before Christmas, with Daisy now landing herself a new part in ITV2 panel show Big Brother: Late and Live.
The spin-off from the legendary reality series sees a group of celebrity fans discuss the events of that night’s main show with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
In last night’s show, Will introduced the panellist line-up that made him ‘wet his pants’; YouTuber Zeze Millz, ex-housemate Henry Southan and Daisy.
‘All the way from Emmerdale Farm and ready to dish the dirt, it’s Daisy Campbell!’ he exclaimed.
The lively audience then began to chant all three of their names, with Will welcoming the Emmerdale star saying: ‘Welcome, it’s your first time. It’s not always like this.’
She seemed in high-spirits as the weekly task, which saw Big Brother’s latest guinea pigs become houseplants to show if they could show personal growth, was picked apart.

The soap connections don’t end there – 53 year old Emma Morgan, who was the second contestant to enter the famed dwelling this year and has so far avoided the public vote, has actually appeared in Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
Altrincham based former Page 3 model Emma has made quite the impression on viewers and is the incumbent Head of House – meaning she is afforded extra luxuries that her peers aren’t, including a power to influence nominations.
Big Brother and Big Brother: Late and Live continue weeknights from 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
