Rating: FALSE
Why we fact-checked this: The dubious job vacancies post was shared in several Facebook groups and was shared by multiple users.
The facts: The posts were fake and were unauthorized by the BFP. The agency releases notices of job vacancies on its official website. As of writing, the latest notice was for 48 vacancies of Fire Inspector positions published on the BFP website on October 10, 2024.
On June 5, the BFP warned the public about fake job posts posted by unauthorized job hiring pages.
“The BFP does not support the sharing of unofficial information concerning its activities or programs, such as recruitment or promotion,” the BFP said.
Fake links: The links provided in the post containing the claim were also fake. The links redirect to a website with the uniform resource locator (URL) “philippinegovupdates.blogspot.com/.” The URL of BFP’s official website is “https://bfp.gov.ph/”
