Vengeance Most Fowl will be coming to BBC iPlayer and BBC One this Christmas as a real treat for fans who first fell in love with them back in 1989.

The new trailer gives fans an exciting glimpse into Wallace and Gromit’s latest adventure.

After a recent crime wave of stolen garden goods from across the region, Wallace and his pre-programmed smart gnome, Norbot, are the main suspects.

While Wallace proclaims his innocence, it’s up to Gromit once again to battle sinister forces, or Wallace will never invent again!

But who could possibly be behind such evil actions?! Rightfully behind bars for all this time, Feathers McGraw is back with vengeance.

Feathers McGraw was last seen in 1993’s BAFTA and Academy Award winning short The Wrong Trousers.

As previously announced, the voice cast will feature Ben Whitehead as Wallace, the eccentric, cheese-loving inventor from the North of England who lives with his best friend and loyal pooch, Gromit.

Peter Kay returns as Chief Inspector Macintosh alongside Lauren Patel.

The new film also features cameos from Diane Morgan, Bridgerton‘s Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan and Lenny Henry.

Further details of their roles to be revealed soon.

Wallace and Gromit made their debuts in 1989 with the short film A Grand Day Out, which was directed, animated and co-written by Nick Park.

Their last film appearance was 2008’s short, A Matter of Loaf and Death.

Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park, who directs Vengeance Most Fowl, said: “I’d had the idea of a film about garden gnomes turning bad for more than a decade, but I could never work out what made them bad.

“It occurred to me that the single most asked question I get when I meet fans is, will the penguin Feathers McGraw, Wallace and Gromit’s original antagonist from The Wrong Trousers 30 years ago, ever return?

“We’ve had fun bringing him back in cameo capacities but now, three decades on, it felt like the right time.

“Then it hit me: What if Feathers was involved with these gnomes?

“We’re hoping that this film will appeal to fans of “Gnome Noir” everywhere and that people will be gratified when they see what Feathers has been up to since The Wrong Trousers.”
