Podcast and Chill’s MacG – real name Macgyver Mukwevho – has claimed that Springbok captain Siya Kolisi would be “allowed to cheat” on his wife, Rachel, amid his divorce news .
This follows social media commentary that the rugby player was unfaithful in his marriage.
Last week, Siya and Rachel announced their divorce after eight years of marriage. They share two children and custody of Siya’s two siblings.
MACG AND PODCAST AND CHILL SPECULATE OVER SIYA KOLISI’S DIVORCE
On Monday, 29 October, Podcast and Chill’s MacG and Sol Phenduka shared their opinions on what possibly led to Rachel and Siya Kolisi’s divorce announcement.
Sol asked: “What would drive a woman to the point of divorce? There are a few things, and cheating is one of them. Some women have a tolerance for it until it’s no longer tolerable”.
MacG replied: “If there’s one guy in this country who’s allowed to cheat, it’s Siya Kolisi. He’s a two-time world champion; come on! Cut him some slack!
MacG then speculated about what he believed may have happened: “I think it must be something big, like he got another girl pregnant or something. This is a white girl…they are not here for that s**t.”

FROM ONE CHEATER TO ANOTHER?
While MacG has given “permission” for Siya Kolisi to cheat, it appears his own wife, Naledi Monamodi, has not been as forthcoming.
In 2022, the content creator – who is the mother of the Podcast and Chill founder’s child, hinted that he has been unfaithful.
In an Instagram Q&A, she responded to a follower who asked if MacG had ever cheated on her. She replied: “Caught him red-handed? No…Suspected? Yes, I’m only human and so is he”.
‘I LOVE GIRLS’
Meanwhile, in an excerpt from Siya Kolisi’s autobiography Rise, the Springbok captain revealed that he had a weakness for women.
When he first met Rachel in 2012, he claimed, “I was young, still 20, and full of it. I loved rugby, I loved drinking, and I loved girls.”
Siya also admitted to being in a relationship with another woman when Rachel caught his eye. He later slid in her Facebook DMs.
He continued: “Of all the things I loved about her, one of the biggest was the fact that she didnt need me. There were girls who would be all over you because you were a pro rugby player in a rugby-mad city. But Rachel wasn’t one of them. She couldn’t have cared less”.
