Kaizer Chiefs striker search has widened to a whole new continent.
Nasreddine Nabi has told Kaizer Chiefs scouts to search for a prolific striker from South America.
Meaning, Amakhosi have broadened their search beyond Africa. Meanwhile, this comes after Nabi hinted at bringing ‘the world’s best’ players to Chiefs.
CHIEFS STRIKER SEARCH EXTENDS TO SOUTH AMERICA
Nabi and Amakhosi management are pulling all the strings to ensure they secure an attacker or two by the PSL transfer window in January, 2025.
Firstly, they are working on an improved mega-money offer for one of their main attacking targets.
Meanwhile, they are already searching far and wide for a new attacker.
In fact, Nabi has instructed the Chiefs scouts to search beyond Africa. Specifically, a prolific goal-scorer in South America.
“Chiefs are still much in the hunt for a new striker. Some agents from the African continent have offered their players to the club, but coach [Nasreddine] Nabi is specific about the type of striker he wants for the club. That’s why Chiefs have widened their search for a striker to other parts of Africa and South America,” the insider told Phakaaati.
BIG MOVES ON THE HORIZON FOR AMAKHOSI IN JANUARY
Bafana Bafana attacker, Percy Tau is reportedly set to finally leave Al Ahly.
Therefore, opening the door for a potential blockbuster move for Tau to Chiefs. Additionally, Amakhosi are determined to sign Fiston Mayele. As we speak, they are working on a vastly improved offer.
Moreover, a very well-known ex-Chiefs striker is keen to return to the Soweto giants. From Africa to South America, Nabi and Amakhosi are already looking for their next attacker.
