Iconic Neighbours couple Libby Kennedy and Drew Kirk are set to reunite after 22 years.
The Australian soaps characters, portrayed by actors Kym Valentine and Dan Paris, were fan-favourites during their short but turbulent relationship in the early 2000s.
Just 19 months after their fairytale wedding – which mirrored that of 80s Ramsay Street legends Scott and Charlene Robinson (Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue) – Drew was killed off in some of the show’s most emotional scenes.
Whilst visiting his father in Oakey, the pair went horseback riding. Drew’s horse suddenly threw him up in the air and to the ground, with him dying from his injuries shortly after.
At his funeral, Libby sang Scottish folk song Wild Mountain Thyme, a tune he’d belted out at their nuptials the year before.
Now fans can wipe away their tears – as the two have completed the line-up of the Neighbours 40th Anniversary Tour, which is heading nationwide throughout February.
They’ll be joined alongside Melanie Pearson star Lucinda Cowden, who announced her involvement last week on the same day that she revealed soap bosses had taken the decision not to renew her contract.
Rebekah Elmaloglou, Tim Kano and Majella Davis, alias Terese Willis, Leo Tanaka and Krista Sinclair will also be jetting over to the UK.

In a video released on Neighbours’ social media this morning, Kym and Dan were clearly thrilled to be reuniting and being able to share their behind the scenes stories.
Kym was first introduced as Libby alongside the rest of the Kennedy family in 1994, when they moved into No. 28. After 10 years in the show she departed, though later returned for another four year stint from 2007.
She was last seen in Erinsborough in 2014, in a story that saw her son Ben (then Felix Mallard) go to live with her parents Karl and Susan (Alan Kennedy and Jackie Woodburne).

Libby later sent a video message to newlyweds Melanie and Toadie (Ryan Moloney) in what was then supposed to be the last ever episode.
Dan had been in the soap for four years before Drew’s death. In 2005, he reprised the role when Steph Scully (Carla Bonner) dreamed about him.
The visions later turned out to be a warning that Steph’s cancer had returned.
This won’t be Kym’s first time talking about her tenure to British audiences – earlier in the year she was part of a line-up at a Australian TV fan event in Birmingham.
