Lincoln University of Missouri has named Tim Abney as director of athletics and campus recreation. Abney has served as interim athletic director since April.
The former basketball standout served as head women’s basketball coach for 10 seasons and led the tennis team for seven years. He previously was assistant athletic director for administration.
Abney is a 2017 inductee of the Lincoln University Athletic Hall of Fame and a member of the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame and North Carolina A&T Sports Hall of Fame, respectively.
