Power utility Eskom confirmed in its latest X post on Friday that load shedding will remain suspended until further notice.
“Eskom is pleased to announce the ongoing suspension of load-shedding, marking 184 consecutive days of uninterrupted power supply since 26 March 2024.”
Eskom pleaded with the public to switch off non-essential appliances to reduce the demand, especially between 17:00 and 21:00.
Any bets as to how long it will last…?
The South African website will keep the public abreast of the latest developments when changes occur.
