Award-winning star Makhadzi has made headlines since she opened up about her recent show in Bloemfontein.
The Limpopo was one of the headliners of the Macufe music festival, which featured a host of DJs on rotation, including Oscar Mbo.
MAKING HEADLINES
Makhadzi is topping trends after she shared her bad experience with Oscar Mbo, whom he accused of bad behaviour on stage. The now-deleted post has since gone viral, with many sharing their two cents.
In the now-deleted post, Makhadzi said she was forced to perform for 20 minutes after Oscar Mbo removed her flash drives, interrupting her performance.
MDN News also shares the news in a now-viral X post that has gone viral. The blog posted, “Oscar Mbo faces backlash for allegedly sabotaging the performance of Makhadzi at Macufe festival.
“Musician Makhadzi was reportedly targeted by Oscar Mbo and his crew, who allegedly removed her USB during her performance slot at the Macufe festival in Bloemfontein.”
OSCAR MBO: ‘WHY DID SHE DELETE THE POST’
However, against the trends, Oscar Mbo downplayed Makhadzi’s accusations. Oscar Mbo said Makhadzi arrived late and was performing during his time slot.
He added that he only had to perform 10 minutes because Makhadzi was off time. However, the DJ also downplayed the reports in another Instagram post as she replied to a concerned fan.
A concerned fan asked, “Utsi Makhadzi awukamphatsi kahle.” Oscar Mbo replied, “Akayele amanga. Ask yourself why did she delete that post she wrote where I called her out on if it’s the truth?”
Against the trends, fans flooded social media with their two cents. An X user commented, “I will choose Makhadzi any day, no question. She is everything, but if Oscar’s version is anything to go by, then he should applauded for that.
“Being professional commences with one respecting the schedule. If Khadzi arrived late, she should have apologised to Oscar.”
KHARISHMA’S RECENT INCIDENT
No doubt his stage woes with Makhadzi come barely a few days after he reportedly forced Lekompo rising star Kharishma off the stage while performing, according to reports.
However, Oscar Mbo apologised to Limpopo’s Lekompo rising star Kharishma for forcibly removing her on stage while performing.
