Betway Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns will play two league games and one cup fixture in October.

With the MTN8 final taking centre stage and the FIFA International Week coming next week, Kabo Yellow will return to action in late October.
- Carling Knockout – 19-20 October (Last 16 Draw to be announced).
- Betway Premiership – Polokwane City (27 October)
- Betway Premiership – Cape Town City (30 October).
ALTON MEIRING DIES
Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Alton Meiring has passed away. His former club confirmed the news in an official statement.
The club known as Kabo Yellow have sent out condolences to the Meiring family.
“The Chairman and the Motsepe Family, the Board of Directors, Technical Team, Players, Management, Staff, Supporters of Mamelodi Sundowns FC & the entire Yellow Nation express their deepest condolences to the family and friends as we mourn the loss of former Mamelodi Sundowns striker, Alton Meiring.
“Some of the top flight teams that the Bafana Bafana international played for are AmaZulu, Jomo Cosmos, Hellenic, Golden Arrows and Moroka Swallows. We pray that the Almighty gives comfort and strength to the Meiring family, his friends and former teammates.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones and family. Rest in Peace Alton,” Sundowns concluded.
